This secure app provides up to date views of your personal rota and leave diary, as well as allowing you to directly book and manage your leave on your smartphone.
You can see rota information both by location or person, filtered to the groups of your choice, and see all of the department's on-call rotas. Getting in touch with your colleagues is easy - simply tap the 'Call' link displayed next to their name.
Our newly integrated rota mapping service allows you to connect to other departments using Rotamap services, such as Medirota, within your trust - giving a live view of the other people working with you from those departments in those sessions.
Uncovered sessions can be offered out by the rota coordinators, and you can request to work these sessions with the new 'Bids' feature.
The built-in messaging service allows you to communicate directly with your department rota administrators.

App to view rota, works well and facilitate leave requests easily but has issues. No clear ability to synch to other calendars, UX not great, glitchy when viewing rotas by other people.
The app works usually well, but it has a limit on how many bids can be seen. If there are too many the new will not be available.
Generally clear, but always re-opens and really slow to start. (My phone is fast with all other apps)
Doesn't seem to work on Huawei P20/Android. Tried installing/uninstalling a few times but all I get is a blank screen and nowhere to input server for my Trust. I access rota on iPad via website instead.
excellent app for medical rota. easy to use and co-ordinate the weekly department al activities.

It keeps asking me for surver? I had the old app and now suddenly I can't log in due to this surver thing....What do I put as a surver??? Please help
Useful as my department has it.
I had noticed since the last update that I had lost functionality. I am on Android 4.2.2 which doesn't seem to be supported any more. It was saying that it could not update as there was no data connection. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it won't even connect to the server.
Doesn't work out of hours. May be you (Atleast the app) should also work 24/7 like our DH wants everyone else attached to NHS to do so...
Ideal for busy departments with many Drs. Loved the the option to directly call those who are on call with you from the 'my rota' screen: sometimes you need to urgently get in touch with people you haven't worked with before but don't have their numbers

Good interface, but oncalls doesn't come under "my rota" tab any more.
Which server are you meant to log on to, and in what format? Without this, app is a waste of space.
got a samsung note 3 - app does not connect to server
Says connection to server can't be made, but at the bottom of the page it says 'connection successful'. Hit 'done', app quits but on restarting screen stays blank...
Not working. Even when on wifi keeps saying 'no internet connection'....
This made life easier for the department. Simple to use and allowed planning well in advance, e.g. complex case and need to add additional member or scheduling the best fit for patient caseload and complexity. I liked the vacation/ study leave booking system. You also have to have a fantastic administrator like we have.... that's the human element. 😉
