Does the basics that's needed, I check it regularly for payments and usually good. Just be wary as it isn't always up to date with the amounts (even when it shows transactions) so need to be on the ball if you have used your card over the passed few days. Spoke with the bank about it, they assured me that there wasn't an issue but unfortunately I can't screenshot it to show them when it's wrong!
App is ok but is too slow to update transaction lists. A direct debit comes out but it doesn't just remove the amount entirely from your account, it sits there with a little circle next to it for days and days and then when it finally finished, it often ends up less than the balance had been showing minus the earmarked funds in the first place. It makes it very difficult to keep on top of your finances properly
Love the app, and the data it holds, plus the layout, but the function needs to be expanded to encompass more transactions! For example the length of account transaction selection is too limited. Particularly like the fingerprint login security tho .... it's safe, secure and easy to use! I would also like it to be extended to allow other household / account users (not just joint account holders) to access different account data from the same app, but with different security access.
Excellent app once up and running, but getting it set up is often difficult. Seems to be no information flow between the app and your account and the bank itself. The palaver I had to go to to get payments to another bank account authorised was ridiculous. That said, once sorted, I have had no issues, and the app works really well.
Generally very functional and easy to use. It would be good to have more options on what you display. I.e It would be good to have not only each transaction showing but also how each transaction impacts on your daily balance. This would let you scroll back and see where you were this time last week/last month etc.
The app is sometimes a little slow in updating the balance and/or money out. Apart from that, the app works as I expected, it does allow me to check balances, as well as move money between linked accounts and other another payee's on the move. One good thing I like, is it works well with the biometric security settings on your mobile.
Having huge issues with this version. I can't use it because it keeps going back to the start. I literally can't use the app - the app won't let me. Keeps telling me I have 'Display over Apps' settings active but I don't. I have turned every single one off but it's still telling me I do. So frustrating.
Overall good app, 1 slight annoying issue is that the alert system isn't the quickest at times. There's been times I've either bought online or used contactless at the shops and it pings several hours later to inform me that a transaction has been made. Not very security minded when someone could be running up debts on your card etc without any knowledge to yourself.
App crashes when you try to pay someone in your payee list, a previous review mentioned this issue in July and it's still not fixed. Exact issue happens on my other android phone. Useless. Clydesdale responded on 7th October stating improvements to App, however the app hasn't been updated since 1st of September so still has this issue. Can't get through on the phone number supplied either, got cut off after 86 minutes on hold. Poor.
Good little app which is easy to use. Excellent for seeing your day to day expenditure, your repeating payments (direct debits and standing orders) and making money transfers. Personally, I've found that it's helped me take control of my spending and seeing as I haven't yet encountered any issues with it, I can't really fault it.
Overall a good app for checking balances and transferring money quickly. A problem with direct debits as it looks like they come off a day before they are due, so can be confusing. Also payment to credit card comes off and then disappears and then off again a day or two later.
Application was inconsistent in it's function. I'd transfer money from my credit card once because I have unsteady hands and it is hard for me to read the text especially with colour scheme. I am dyslexic and i have been timed out many times just double checking and trying to read/ scroll up and down and read some more before getting frustrated that I cannot do a task which should be easy. I struggle to remember PIN numbers at best of time. Going into the Bank was preferable before the Pandemic. It still is a better option than the tele banking option, but not by much.
App seems to work reasonably well. My transaction history isn't as long as it should be or as long as Clydesdale claim. Others provide seven years. I'm not even getting 6 months from Clydesdale. Two years is the absolute minimum acceptable. The deposit cheque feature has worked well for me though the app seems to have difficulty recognising cheques that are not as elongated as the photo window. You end up cutting off the top of the cheque, but it still gets paid in okay
Have become reasonably familiar with its operation and have felt comfortable the more that I have used it. I am able to check my balances at anytime with seconds and to make transfers with relative ease. When using the "move money" feature the site requests the reason for making the transfer before effecting the actual transfer, again another useful safety feature. Larger transfers also require the insertion of your secure code which seems a reasonable precaution against fraudulent transfers.
it works really well, its very easy to use, it feels very secure, however you can't go months back for transactions which is annoying as I would like to go to paperless. it also crashes when opening rather frequently, which is unnerving for a bank app.
Completely hopeless. 2 hours wasted and still unable to login. Helpdesk seem completely lost. 1 star is 1 star too many.
I find the app good and easy to navigate. All functions are clear. The only thing that I don't like is on opening the app the balance of both current and savings account are shown. I would prefer to just open current account and have a separate page for the savings account.
Haven't been able to view any documents online, the ask a question chat option has never worked, the app is often off line for maintenance and I've often check my account and there's been 3 or 4 different amounts in yet I've not made any withdrawals or made any transactions. I shouldn't really be surprised that this app is hopeless as this is completely in line with my experiences with the Clydesdale Bank.
In general its pretty good, but dont overly rely on it to be accurate. It can show transactions going out on the rightband later changes the date. They have also had some issues where we've need to reinstall the app because the updates have not worked correctly. Other than that its usable!
Latest update has broken the app. Takes around ten tries of reopening and closing the app because it gets stuck on the logo animation at the beginning which plays 10x faster than normal. Sort it out Clydesdale! I can't online bank now because of this. Been using phone banking like it's 1999. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, reset, force quit and nothing works!
FAQ says I can see a running total in app, I cannot. I need to see balance at the time of a transaction. If I try to download statement for this purpose, app crashes. Bit poo really.
