CLZ Movies - Movie Database

An absolutely fantastic app! Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but 100% worth it. You can also have other services for this app (shown on the creator's website). It's easy to browse through the movies. You can browse through genre, format, series, boxset, IMDB ratings, language, country, director, etc., to state a few. It's a very well organized and made app, with alot of features. I recommend this app to everyone! The customer service is also excellent. They're very courteous and helpful!

4.5 stars really. I've had the CLZ Comics app for over a year. Figured I'd give the movie app a go. It works really well. It's easy to change what needs changing (if the cover is different, or the title is slightly off). Taking off .5 stars bc the barcode scanner sometimes takes a long time to focus in on the barcodes regardless of lighting, angle, jacket cover, etc. 2 thumbs up would recommend.

I've just migrated from using my pc to my Anroid phone for this app. The transition was almost seamless and the support provided by CLZ was way above the call of duty! All questions were answered extremely fast and all issues resolved almost immediately. The app is super easy to use and is the ultimate in convenient. I used the pc version for years and loved it; the Android version is even better! One negative: Print is from pc only, so you must have both subscriptions to sync lists on pc.

I've used this cataloging program since it was only computer download. Now it's a cloud system with a very simple app design which allows me to continue to keep my movies catalogued which helps me stay organized now that i own movies on Vudu, DVD, Amazon, etc. I can use this to see all of my movies at once, in one place.

Excellent app. Tried using other similar apps but selected CLZ because it was the most stable and really flexible. Interface is lovely, cross platform support is excellent and it's easy to customise. Best of all, loading your movies is so easy. So much info for so little data entry. Love it.

I've used the CLZ app on my phone and CLZ Movies on my PC for a long time now. I even used Movie Connect for a short period. Not only have those products served me well, but they have also included excellent online app, cloud, and PC support. I've asked support questions and described issues over the years, and they have always satisfied m my concerns quickly, often within 24 hours. Most of the time, I just needed guidance, and they gave it personally, patiently,and politely and, again, quickly.

This is a great movie collection categorization app. It's easy and fast to use, works well and the developers continue to add new features to constantly improve it. Very fast response from their support team for my question. Definitely reccomend this.

I really enjoy this program. User-friendly interface allows for a seemless experience between all three versions of this software (computer, phone and cloud+based). The support offered is always very helpful and quick to respond.

This app is personally a life saver. Now I can show my friends trailers and info from movies and shows I own on DVD. I have a vast collection, and this helps me not accidentally duplicate purchase. Worth the 2 dollar a month subscription for sure and it has cloud sync to boot!

Best movie inventory program I have found does almost everything I want. Has many movies TV shows that can be downloaded from core, but not all.

If you collect movies this is the app to have ! I've tried others and they don't even compare to CLZ ! The support is the fastest I've ever delt with. Love this app absolutely love it !!!!!

Excellent movie catalog. One MAJOR problem: When watching the trailers, it can only be viewed in portrait. When I click on the area for landscape, it turns to landscape but then, screen turns black, the video stops and is returned back to the menu of listed movies. It even did this before the latest update. I want to purchase for the year, but not if I can't watch trailers in landscape. What am I doing wrong?

For the price they want for the full app it's hard to justify the price. There are not many options or extra features. A random movie picker would be nice when you want to watch a movie from your collection. Or a tracker on who you loaned a movie to. Or how many times you watched movie. The app is very nice though and I have found every movie in my collection so far, with great info already added and poster art. But I can't buy this app until more is added. It's just too high of a price.

Excellent app. So many ways to customize your entries, you can add as little or as much information as you want for categorizing your collection. They recently added a sort by actor which is nice, one of many improvements they are always making. I've had the app for over a year now and used to be able to remove the Imbd start ratings, but haven't been able to for a while now. The yellow box is obnoxious, but overall the app is terrific so I can put up with it.

Really excellent App. Easy to maintain and the lookup databases are pretty generally up to date. I'm sure it can do more than I'm using it for, but it fits my purposes perfectly. Early on I had a problem with classifications, and one of the developers replied to me super quickly. More than worth the price. I have an extensive collection and am constantly getting new films. It's as lifesaver.

Love this app. Makes life so much easier. Before I used a spreadsheet on my laptop but now being able to have this on my phone makes shopping for films a lot less stressful knowing I can check my collection to make sure I don't have a particular film before buying one. Customer service is great had an issue with not being able how to use the app and within a few hours I was up and running again

This is great! Even though they don't include games as an option, I've just made my own game list. I took photos of the boxes. (the photo function has a built in cropper. Great). Adding films with the barcode scanner using IMDB info is great. And I like how you can organise based on blu-ray, or 4K etc. You can even set custom tabs (like favourites), that you can choose if they automatically apply to your next film. There are tons of options for listing things, like films with a certain actor!

Works great. Would love to be able to add purchased streaming movies as well. UPDATE: Response to developer comment: Hello, if I add a new movie it shows up as a disc. Unless I'm missing something it isn't possible to add it as a streamed file (i.e. Apple TV, Google Play, etc.). In my situation I would like to upgrade most movies to blu ray when they become available so only useful if I can see which is which. Very small issue though.

CLZ Movies is a really simple, flexible way to catalogue and organize my movie collection. If you're satisfied with simple documentation, most of the work has already been done. However, you also have the options to edit, adjust and create entries, as well! This has become one of my most useful apps, and one I use far more frequently than expected.
