Every time I try to manage my subscription I am brought to the App Store page, saying an update is required. I have done the update a few times and it just happens repeatedly every single time I attempt to manage my subscription. I have paused my account but I don't want the subscription. Seems like a very shady way to keep me from unsubscribing. Absolutely not worth the money and I refuse to continue being charged for an app I don't even use
So far no I haven't had any game breaking bugs. 21 suggestions a day isn't too bad as well, though more would obviously be nice. All in all a solid app so far. It is a little weird how you can't add any prompts after the initial registration, though you can edit your answer or delete the prompt. You can't edit the caption of a photo after you post it either.
I like that you don't get flooded with profiles to swipe on or with people that liked you. So far it seems to have better quality matches. Customer service is pretty good. There are a few small bugs. Chat notifications aren't very accurate, sometimes the new chat messages don't appear. I would also suggest to add the option of non-binary or something when selecting gender.
1 star because it seems to show fewer interesting people as time goes on, and has become quite a chore to check my bagels when it doesn't show me anyone interesting. Most profiles are blank, but when there is text in their profile, I wait what seems like forever for the pictures to load. I deleted this after using it for years, took a break for a while (pandemic), and it's somehow worse. I'm not a bagel person, and that apparently applies to this app as well. Bad jokes for bad apps!
Everytime I try to see my subscription settings, I get redirected to the Google Play store to install it...which I have. It's an endless loop and very frustrating. I had to Google how to end my subscription. Seems like a lot of other folks have the same issue
The app has great intentions. I believe everyone who's on the app if serious should do a better job to communicate interest if any is there. The pictures at time load slowly. Hate the profiles that say absolutely nothing. A friend suggested the app and will use again if needed. I did make contact with someone on the app if things work out we might decide to meet and take things further.
Stuff fails to load frequently (photos, chat history). Notifications don't stack but overwrite older ones. Given the daily marketing spam, makes it easy to miss messages. The AI has some weird ideas. And it is very spammy and high action velocity - hundreds of profiles a week and starts a timer to get a number or pay to extend the chat once you match. Design seems to encourage burning potential matches, made worse by front-loading the best candidates.
The app is so lagging behind. Fail to popup notification if got new matches or messages. Once it is opened, the updates still not showed. Need to wait long. But overall concept should be good. But this should be easily fixed by the developer. Need to think more times before deciding to subsribe premium if this dont get fixed.
At first this app worked fine but now since the new update I have been unable to log in. I have tried uninstalling and installing several times and when asked to put my phone number in the page refuses to go to the next screen. Very unhappy and will not be recommending this app anymore until this issue can be fixed
Horrible! I am so embarrassed. I was replying to matches in the chat thinking they sent me questions when really it was suggestions from the app itself. So the men were super confused. I don't like that it times out on suggested people even when you pay for a subscription. This app will also show you people who like you but it is out of your preferences so what is the point of showing them your profile if the app already knows your preferences. Poor quality app
3 stars because I do match with people I like. So it does a good job finding appropriate matches. However the chat is buggy. I lose messages sent and received and I also paid for premium and... didn't get premium while my card was charged. I really hope I get some compensation. A whole day's worth of premium is just wasted like that.. Will rate 5 stars if some issues are solved. Otherwise I enjoy using it
It's not a bad app persay, but it leaves a lot to be desired. The paid sub is way too expensive, and it doesn't should give you a little more daily beans to make it worth even opening the app daily. Also, with no political preference, I honestly can't trust anyone I swipe on. What if I accidently went on a date with a conservative? And why can't we see anyone's names? Makes everyone seem a little less real when names are removed.
Actually pretty good with a lot of good matches and no bots that I've seen. Comfortable environment. Low rating is for the horrid notification system (or lack thereof) and the inability to change or add additional prompts.
I was asked to verify my identity by submitting my photos and they rejected it for no good reason. They asked me to provide a photo showing my face and three fingers which I did. The reason for rejection? They couldn't see my elbows! This is ridiculous. Eventually, they banned my account citing safety issue?! Update: Tried registering another account and was banned again without any valid reason. You can't ban people just because you are upset I pointed up the flaws of the app!
Kinda ridiculous of how bad the premium features are. Considering you have to pay for them they should work better. Everything is constantly off, and I'm seeing people who I just talked to show incorrect read receipts, and the analytics are all off.
I'm satisfied with the people I meet on here. As some have pointed out the chat always seems to have problems from lagging to unable to send screenshots etc. At the very least it's a good starting point to meeting people before moving on to other messaging apps.
Upgraded to premium. No suggestions or discoveries that day on refresh. Also, really basic options are behind a pay wall. You are supposed to get a few options suggested everyday but you are only presented with like or pass, and once you like someone, you can't see any more suggestions that day. So it's either like this person and see no one else for the day or reject this person and can't go back to 'choose' who is most optimal. Also, they don't accept refunds, they send you to Google. Scam.
The layout of CMB is laid back and doesn't have pictures and colors popping up in your face. People are pretty educated here and the filter options are pretty good. The app glitches out sometimes with chats but oh well. Having limited options daily also let's you get off the app fairly quickly each day; I liked it but it could be a downside for others. It's also nice that you're not pressured hard into getting premium, though you won't be able to see everyone you match with otherwise.
