A very useful app for speeds and feeds. Use it regularly for CNC milling, speeds and feed rates. Straight forward in use and very convenient to have in your pocket on the workshop floor. I have shown it to my colleagues who have also downloaded and use regularly.

the turning, milling, and tapping menus don't do anything. the engraving menu generates a program (probably) to engrave whatever words you input.

Great app for speeds and feeds. It would be helpful if a recommended SFM chart per material was added

I can put in the diameter and the other stuff but for some reason rest wont work, the Tool Button doesnt react. Whats the issue? I need help Thanks

This is the simplest and most helpful application in entire play store to calculate m/c-ing parameters...

Good for calculate cutting parameters. It will be better if provide with basic programming.

Can you give some different fonts for engraving?

I would give it 5 stars with two small changes: 1) The UNC/UNF search is a bit confusing at first. The top field is ordered by Threads Per Inch, so to get info for #4-40, you'd set it to UNC and type 40 in the top field. For #4-48, you'd set it to UNF and type 48 in the top field. This requires you to know whether the thread you are searching is considered fine or coarse. It would be better, I think, if it just had a "drop down" list with standardized threads. Metric threads are more intuitive, simply requiring diameter and pitch, although again, the "drop down" list with standardized threads would probably still be better. 2) It would be great if you could select surface speed from a "drop down" list of common materials. Overall, I still find it quite useful, and use it regularly. I have not used the engraving tool yet.

Too simple. It's more of a cutting speed to r.p.m and feed/rev to table feed converter. We should expect some advancement wherein we can get some recommendation for running parameters as well after mentioning few more details. Otherwise not much of use.

Great for basic needs. Thread terminology a bit confusing. Hope will develop into more mature application.

Great tool! Machine shops are all about tools and CNC Tools is one of the tools you want to have when you are really busy. I am a Manufacturing Engineer with 35 years of machining experience I use this tool all the time...

Very useful tool for us cnc programmers. Could do with a trig calc and cycle time generator to make it a complete package. Maybe a few more thread specs. Pretty good.

Tap little confusing. Also what is taping diameter?. .if you mean drill for tap, ie. minor diameter. Then the sizes are wrong. .250-20 tap uses drill #7 which is .201dia not .211 as sugested. All sizes I looked at were off. Thanks

I wish it could be also avalable on ios, pls do let me know if it is,,,,

Download it, try it. I have been a CNC programmer for 17 years and still think this is a great app. Everyone I've shown it to at work have now downloaded it too. Great stuff CNC tools. Keep it up!

Know what you want your surface speed to be? Need to find out what it is? Perfect app for quick calculations and programmed rate checking. All I could ask for is interactive calculation from all fields (IE put in number of teeth and feed rate and get feed/tooth calculated automatically).

Ok but I'm not satisfied need more apgration

Bon. R. May 16, 2014

Could do with more options, engraving on a PCD would be nice.

I would like the option to convert standard to metric with the calculation boxes full.
