CNI Cares

As the Working Parent's Best Friend, Childcare Network knows that meaningful, effective, and efficient communication with our parents is crucial. In today's culture of quick conversations and technological innovations, we have an opportunity to reach our parents in a way that fits with everyone's fast-paced lives: an electronic daily note called CNI Cares. Teachers input daily information and send it straight to parents' email inboxes or smartphone screens. With the click of the tablet cameras, teachers can send pictures showcasing developmental milestones and daily achievements. Parents feel connected and informed throughout the day, leaving those precious few moments at the end of the day during pick-up for friendly chatting and playing before going home. And one of the best parts -- we can quickly alert parents who are later than expected with a "We Care Check-in" to do our part in preventing any family from experiencing the tragedy of a heat-related car death.

We strive to be our teacher's best friend, too, and CNI Cares offers distinct advantages for them as well. Teachers can track attendance, playground transitions, SIDS checks, and more with clicks and taps on the tablet. All of these tracking reports are archived at the end of the day and stored for administrators -- no more searching for lost attendance sheets! They can receive messages from the director and reminders about upcoming events. Another HUGE advantage for teachers using the tablet -- our HighReach Learning curriculum is built right in. Teachers have activity plans and Learning Experience Guides at their fingertips all day long, assisting them in confident implementation of our planned experiences. And even better --- each week teachers will find links on their tablets for additional theme-related resources like songs, videos, audio books, and other visuals. Links for quick training clips will be available for teachers, too!

Can't record daily drop off information anymore because the pop up box no longer shows after I click my child's name. I sent an email to the developers to update the app and there has been no response. I'm no longer getting any updates from my child's daycare. The app goes down a lot and it's just not user friendly. The menu needs to be more organized and have better options. Add the drop off option in the menu, not by clicking the child's name at the top. Who else would even know that?

I wish this app worked they way the daycare tells me it should. Unfortunately I am no longer able to enter drop off information. Something changed. this app wasn't intuitive to begin with, but now it isn't beneficial.

So works great with the exception that the parennt cant record events. Would be nice if there was direct communication to the teacher as well. Love the fact that i can save pictures and videos taken

App is down a lot. Repeated problems logging in. No way to contact teachers directly. Drop off info doesn't make it to teachers. App prepopulates lesson plans that aren't actually happening and then because I learn to ignore these, actual info I get on my kid gets overlooked because it shows up in the same fields
