To begin using the CO-OP Taxi application today:
• Download the free app
• Create an account (Email, Name, Phone # and Password)
• Validate your account (via the confirmation email you receive)
• Login to the app (Email & Password)
• Enter your pick-up address
• Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount)
• Book your trip (reservations can be immediate or for a future time/date)
On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pick-up location.
The CO-OP Taxi application retains a history of your previous reservations (up to 30 days) for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. You may also create a list of favourite locations (Home, Work, etc.) to speed the booking process.
You can also customize your orders by selecting the number of passengers, preferred vehicle type, and preferred method of payment. These preferences can be saved to your account profile for future bookings.

Contactless experience which is great however if uploading all relevant details could take lesser time, it would have been fantastic
The app freezes and sends 3 taxis or more sometimes but the drivers have all been great

I'm at the cn tower. App says they don't service this area. I'm basically in the heart of Toronto. Geez
Very useful when needed to book rides in advance.
The address line does not allow for entering a unit number; until it does, I will use a different service rather than waiting for the driver's call to ask where I am in the complex. The app faq says to leave feedback via the About page but the two options there (comment about the app and comment about the ride experience) do nothing.
This is the worst app I have ever used. I booked my cab with enough time to get to work early. The app then for 15 minutes told me that it was 1 minutes away. I the. Get into the cab that I pre-booked with entered destination. The driver digs for a pen and paper to get the address from me and then another 3 minutes to enter into his gps.
Authorized the app to take $10.80, the app made a series of $20.00 charges. The app never ever charged me $10.80. It only charged me the series of $20.00. They sent me a receipt for the $10.80, I have not received my $20.00 charges back. It says these were hold and that it's up to my bank to return my money. The driver also took my Samsung note 10+ as collateral for booking the cab online and was waiting to see if he would get paid even though he didn't take me to the correct address.
Quick to install, quick to sign up & register, quick to get a cab right to you. Only suggestion (I say this without having explored app fully) is to have a "preferred arrival time".. otherwise.. it's great!!
I love the co op taxi app always picking me up and dropping me off at the right spots. Friendly drivers .... switch board is perfect with communication. I often get food from skip not mine cause a block away same address different Ave coop taxi is always at the right place on time love it
App is like the new website. Broken!!!! The website won't let me book a cab. It asks for my login, then asks where I want to go, then asks for my login, then where i want to go! And repeat!! I did this for ten minutes before downloading the app, which then refused to open after i logged in the first time. It kept closing itself or it was just a black screen. I used to use co-op all the time but this is getting ridiculous
My experience with the app has not been very good because most of my trips have not shown the driver arriving to pick me up or drop me off. The one day it froze the cab at an intersection and then it arrived to pick me up with the app saying it was still at the intersection.
app is good except they bill $20 per trip even if fare is less.They reimburse eventually but I know how much the trip costs when booking so that's amount i should be billed.There isn't options to add additional stops or continue past the fare,so It really makes no sense.Also I selected pay in car option when I'd ordered a taxi for a friend,he was going from oliver square to fort Saskatchewan.$57 trip,sadly both were charged and I'm still waiting for coop to make it right. Still waitn for reply
The app never works when you want it to. The connections are slow or never connect to a car, regardless of your connection. I don't know what takes longer, the app or the Call Center.
I can't open the app on my Android. It just crashes right away. It worked fine when I had an iPhone. I have sent feedback several times. I'm sure many people have. I guess they don't care that they're losing customers. I used to use them exclusively. Not anymore.
Worked great until I tried changing my number, now it wont let me login to my account without a verification code for my new number, but whenever I attempt to get my verification code nothing seems to send, it's honestly so annoying when I'm sure it's a simple bug the app developers could fix but they would rather be lazy.
So far, I've had a good experience with the co-op taxi drivers. Very polite and friendly. Highly recommend using the app. And if you don't have a credit card then just click on the Google Pay, and it gives you the option to pay in the cab, cash.
We booked a trip for the next day. It is in my history but the cab never came. When I called they said I cancelled the trip which I didn't. This is so frustrating as this trip was for a medical appointment at the hospital. Now we are going to be very late. The app is confusing and not very user friendly. Don't bother with it.
They took paymemt from me cancelled on me then wouldnt refund the money then the second driver wouldn't let me plug my phone in to get a transfer after telling him what happens kicked me out of his car at 4 am my phone died had to walk downtown edmonton alone no phone to find power I spend up to 400$ a month on cabs there and they do me like that and i was only going on a 10$ trip after they took 20$ from me left me 8$ leave me in sketchy dt yeg ill never take a coop again
Even with destination already in app it went through to disbatch as a different address resulting in an increased charge. Driver contacted disbatch and corrected error and charge quickly
Hi. I just re-installed my co-op app on my phone but I can't remember my password. When I go to reset my password, it says that my email matches a Facebook account and to log in via Facebook. I'm not sure how to do that as there is no option to log in via Facebook on the app. Just Twitter. What can I do? I have reached out on the Facebook page, and I was finally given an email to use for tech support. I emailed them 6 days ago, and still no response.
This app makes ordering a taxi alot easier than calling. Well done and organized, I can save the addresses that I frequently go to, that is a big help. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Whilst the app gets a car to your door, the map and incoming driver details are wrong, and the app has a habit of sending you notifications of your incoming driver around 2 hours after the trip is over. The app has a lot of flaws.
I was happy with the service as the driver pick me up quickly. Biggest complaint is thay you're only given a estimate for the fare. The ride ended up being $4 more than the estimate and therefore more than an Uber would have been. This is a fundamental problem with taxis as that you're given an estimate and are charged on time versus an Uber which tells you up front what the fare will be. Makes it difficult to justify using a taxi cab over Uber
Very convenient, quick to get a driver, and a set rate in advance. I have used taxis way more since I found this app.
