CO2 is the strongest growing gas application wise today in the world. It’s applications range from dispensing soft drinks and beer to industrial cleaning, but it is also the preferred slaughter house gas for pork and chicken. Therefore great care should be observed when using it. Around the world a lot of new legislation is being put into place. In the US there are a number of Safety codes that have to be taken into consideration and followed: the IFC 2015, the NFPA 55 2013, NBIC, CGA 2013 and the OSHA.
In the app we set the height to be 2.4 metres or 7 feet and 10 inches, since CO2 is heavy and accumulates from the floor and up. It has to be understood that the danger is therefore actually higher for children since they are much smaller. But it is to be understood as a guideline.
