I think this would be a great app if it was working properly. I tried the tutorial and was amazed so I figured I would subscribe to it. Well once I paid the $20 for the first month the app started acting app and the videos glitch out and wont play the lesson that I pick. Now nothing seems to want to work on any some I pick. If I can change my review if the issue ever gets fixed I will
it has a simple interface, it doesn't tire you much, it's great
It says it's free, with in-app purchases. It also says no commitments!! Well, it's not free! You have to sign up for 7 day trail, then it cost $ 29.99 a month! Humm.. Sounds like a commitment to me.... you can't even try it without committing to $29.99 a month. The 7 day trail locks you in. Sad thing is you can find free lessons on ANY song, on YouTube!!! 😁 but they probably don't want you to know that..
I've used quite a few online guitar learning tools and this (for me) is by far the best. I have learnt loads! Lots to choose from. The mobile app is a bit buggy at times and could do with a bit of attention (I use this the most), no problems with the online/browser version. Pretty cheap for what you get (£20/mth), but there are offers every now and again (£45/yr.....which I got in Dec 1919) All in all the best tablature based guitar learning tool out there!
I first rated this app 5 stars BEFORE they changed their purchase model to a subscription only model and stopped allowing my prior purchases to be downloaded for offline use. I need the ability to practice my purchased songs when wifi is not available (sailing, camping, etc). My letters to their customer service go unanswered. So if you want to do business with a company that will change the rules after you pay and then ignore your complaints... this is a perfect app for you!
Mehh it is pay to use. You can't even learn even single full song from it. Video loads are so slow than you can imagine. Most of it glitchy anyway. UI feels weird and not user friendly. I can think of handful other apps better than this. Also also Youtube is a good platform for beginners learning guitar and as we all know it's free. Cheers
A very easy experience on this app directions are seamlessly put together in a way you can understand. I seen a lot of apps claiming to teach you how to play guitar. They freeze up, or they just quit all together. Coach guitar has it all.
Glad they have a free trial (make sure to cancel it before they charge you). There has been 0 content available since I signed up. It will say I can open the lesson and then log me out and tell me to sign up. I reached out to support and have had no response for 5 days. I see from other reviews I'm not alone, regarding glitches and "service" each, so tread carefully.
It was wonderful until it started only showing a tiny video of someone playing. There is no access to tablature or specific sections of lessons. Just the one vague video. No longer worth the monthly fee.
Of course a great app cant have it all. But a good app non-the-less. Only complaint i have is not being able to find some songs. Although when i camt find song on other apps i find them here.
I downloaded because I was a complete beginner. I had HIGH hopes for this app! I opened it and first did the free for beginners. Well. It was very confusing. Like, there was no next button! Why the heck! Please do not get!
Hi, I've cancelled my subscription and confirmed for the 24th of Oct and still being charged. I've emailed twice and would like a response and refund of a charge that shouldn't be on my account. Please get back to me
Most of time the lesson just keeps playing even after I go back which gets annoying when you have no way to stop playing it other than to reopen the app.
Great app. The videos could use a little more detail, close ups on the notes and the strumming on some videos
why it keeps playing unstoppable songs that you sre supposed to learn? just music, no video, it even plays along the tutorial or outside the song page. It's a mess
Customer service is utterly nonexistent. I have sent emails, posted on Twitter, there is never any reply. They do not care about users or the user experience. Awful.
In fact, it is much better and useful than I expected. I think it's worth a shot
I can play the guitar now
Wouldn't even play more than 5 seconds of a simple Nirvana song without making you buy full version which wouldn't even load. Complete and utter garbage
It's an excellent guitar tutorial app to learn from. The contents are very good and easy to learn for a beginner like me.besides some app glithes i will give it a 9/10 rating
The idea is cool, it's just not made for me, maybe for someone who struggles with tabs or chords this color method is useful
İf you want to learn playing guitar, you should download this app. I learn from here and you can too.
Not sure...when opening this apps.... it's look like iframe...web Page...i don't like this. Anyway keep good going 👍
it doesn't teach you anything it just plays a video that goes by really fast so you cant learn anything at all. i would give this app 0 stars but I cant.
The picture in so many of the videos is distorted at the start its impossible to follow along.
Oh my gosh... I thought this app would be better But all the things are locked and have to pay... Except one, the basic guitar lesson 😒😒😒😠😠
Is sooo confusing to just do a song with all these diffrent videos you may as well still a piece of guitar mysic infront of me and let me fiqure it out myself.
I love this app and I have learned everything I know from it but can you please add more country songs
Nothing works, either on full 4G or wi-fi. Lags bugs and crashes everywhere
I really enjoyed using the application. Easy to use lessons are clear and perfect with details.
