Coach's Eye

I've been using this app for several years to help improve my ballroom dancing and it's really useful. I haven't found anything else that comes close. One feature I would really love is a way to quickly jump to specific points in a video (bonus points for a bookmark feature!). Also I rarely use the drawing feature but it does happen quite frequently that I unintentionally draw stuff. I would appreciate a way to disable the drawing. Incidentally crashes when 'scrolling' back and forth a lot.

Got this app to work out some angles on my bike. Perfect tool indeed but the annoying thing is you can't alter the angles once they're marked. Besides, with your finger or touch pen, covering the spot, you can't see where the point is, although 2 hands on screen can work better??! Angulus (another app) does a better job with angles. Overall it is a perfect tool, I like it, and I'm getting used to it, but is limited for more precise work.

So frustrating, nothing but errors when trying to export. I've paid for the premium version. Subscription on top of that is a joke in my eyes. I see no value in it. I just want to download and upload to my youtube page, I get an "failed" error every time I try. I want a refund. UPDATE: After reinstalling the app and deleting all my analyzed videos, I was able to export to youtube. Still frustrating, bugs need to be fixed.

As an archery coach, i find this app really useful. Being able to slow the video right down and draw lines etc on it makes certain things a lot easier to see. Would be 5 stars in not for the fact of how difficult it is to transfer videos from my phone to the same thing on my laptop!! Surely there must be an easier way to sync the two!

This could be such a great tool and occasionally it is, but the customer support and clinching is not worth this kind of money. It took me forever just to get a subscription. Like most coaches you pay for equipment through your school account or get reimbursed. A company with such a great product should have a system designed for coaches to purchase. Trying to organize the lockers per athlete is limited to only the few. Its the best out there with limited other options.

As a fencing coach, I use this in the basic form to do quick analysis of fencing technique and competition tactics, in slo-mo, and add basic marks and reference lines. Works very well for me. Love it. Have used it for quite a long time. Quick and simple. No problems. Great tool. Works for me.

I paid for this app. It no longer let's me export videos for parents to see it just crashes. I tried to contact customer service and I'm just jumping through hoops with no end in site. All the help web pages say oops can't find that. Looking for a new app. Thanks for taking my money!

practice makes permanant whether your technique is right or wrong! This app can help overcome permanant bad technique by slowing everything down to spot the weaknesses. It's a must for progress for while you practice your training on your own. It's a bonus you can send them to your coach and get instant feedback. This is my favorite training app!

Saving others time hopefully. Just move on. The native video app in Android 9 is probably all you need now as it does a decent job of frame-by-frame scrubbing. I hate to say it, but Apple iOS is superior in this area. This app has been buggy from it's original Legacy version and I'm shocked a stand up company such as TechSmith continues to release apps with critical bugs. It simply does not work.

As a tennis pro, this app is great for swing analysis. The free version was good, but I'm glad that I upgraded finally. The pricing is a bit misleading though: $15 unlocks the drawing features and turns off ads, but you still have to upgrade further to be able to create "lockers" (folders) and share videos.

I used the free version for a while and enjoyed the features enough to upgrade to pro. Ever since that time it hasn't registered that I've upgraded the app and has consistently tried to get me to purchase more and more. It's a shame. I would've really enjoyed this app if it weren't for this very large flaw.

Great app, but no 120 fps, only 60, and can't trim your video after filmed. But that's ok, the better way to go is film the video(s) you want in your cell-phone's/tablet's video function at 120fps, then trim it, then import it. This app works with both Android and Apple/ios, Hudl only works w Apple/ios. After 'coaching' a video (marking up w voice instruction), processing speed seems pretty good, I haven't done a head-to-head comparison w Hudl, because I only use this. Highly recommend this.

Great App for Diving. Love the slow mo feature, and the ability to go frame by frame with your finger. I want to purchase the product however, I have noticed that the same app is $10.00 cheaper on Apples App store. I am not sure what the difference is between the two choices. I wonder if anyone out there will give me the answer? Until I get that answer I am giving this a 2 star rating. once I have the answer I will change to a 5 star.

So far the app is what I expected and I haven't experienced any problems. As an added bonus the tech support has been great. Fast and accurate replies to any questions I've had. I use mine on a Galaxy tab S2 tablet Android. Looking forward to trying it in the side-by-side comparison mode.

Genuinely looks like an awesome app, but I'm afraid it looks like I've purchased the wrong 'bundle' via a prompt. I thought I was getting full access, but I inadvertently purchased 'record analysis' by mistake. Any change of a refund, then perhaps I can consider purchasing what I intended to unlock the tools on the app?

Easy to use. Ads are irritating but understandable for a free app. I utilize the slow motion replay and almost- full control very slow playback. Would like to see added frame by frame playback. Some motion is just too fast to view precise positions.

The app would be great if it would make use of my phone's high frame rate. However, I'm being told that on some phones, the app can only shoot video at 60 FPS. If that was mentioned somewhere prior to me paying for the app, I missed it.

Its a great idea and the core functionality works well but the compare videos option seems to be pretty broken and crashes the app. As a weightlifting coach having a side by side comparison is pretty important, its a shame this apl couldnt deliever with such a hefty price tag.

Purchased app. And it keeps telling me I didn't and wants me to pay again. Fix this please. *Got it fixed, but that was ridiculous. :) It had to do with installing in under 1 Google account on the phone and purchasing with funds from another Google account on the phone.

Great App. As a swim coach it works for technique but it drains the battery of my phone. So make sure it is fully charged if you want to record a full practice.

Only app out there I have found that has a timer built in to record how fast someone is running from point A to B. Other Apps have timers, but you can only use the timer while shooting the video. This App let's you upload videos you've already taken and use the timer from there. Great slow motion tool, too.

Was once a good tool. Then they made it difficult to export videos. Not going to use some companies cloud storage for privacy reasons. After moving to a new device, advertisement is back. Bad navigation. Update 1-Jul-2019: Moved to a new phone ... now asks to pay again. Removed.
