Love coachup service. Android app not so great. Specifically, proposed times don't match what was actually proposed (e.g., a proposal for 1pm might actually come across as a 3am proposal due to what appears to be a bug in how the app handles time zones or something), messages that get sent show with different time stamps later, so unclear when the message was actually sent.
Coach Brian has the greatest patience. He is teaching lessons for all the right reasons and has the best intentions for each one of his students and wants each and everyone to have great success. He puts so much more time and effort and goes above and beyond any expectations we could have imagined. He breaks down techniques to their simplest form so that any age can understand. We have nothing but gratitude for his teachings and will continue to use Brian.
I signed up here just to make myself available to give lessons while in between full-time jobs. Put in a good amount of time/work for my profile to adequately reflect my collegiate playing career and 7 years of private coaching experience. Weeks and weeks go by, not a peep from anyone. Sure, there's probably something I could be doing better with my profile, but again, not a peep. Great concept -- I just don't think enough people know about the platform.
Terrible customer service. States a number to call, to only be an automated prompt that directs you to the website. Send in a support ticket via the app/website, you hear crickets. Coaches don't work for free and clients don't pay money to not be able to get sessions they pay for with a trainer. You need to hire a customer service team to handle calls and emails within a timely manner. Not 3-4 days later. Very unprofessional.
My experience with Richard was great!! He was very professional I have a great time training with him. His sessions always started on time and were challenging. He knows what he is doing and I always look forward to our sessions.
Total Garbage Program. Parents don't waste your time with this platform. Coaches don't bother going through the process as there is no marketing or promotion to help you find clients. App is just about as useless with limited functionability. Money grab that fooled me once, but won't get me again. Garbage.
Super easy to find someone in your local area who's willing to help your child one on one which gives them a great advantage in which ever sport they have a passion for. I wish this existed when I was a kid playing.
I am very pleased to have coach TJ as my son's coach. His training has helped my son improve his skill significantly and the techniques he teaches have been very effective in the growth of my sons basketball skill. I would really appreciate if Coach TJ continues to workout with my son because his training is very beneficial to my son's improvement.
Coach Carter was knowledgeable and friendly but was also able to push my son hard enough to make this worthwhile. He spent time showing my son how to do things and explained why they were doing it. I'm kind of a skeptic and was pleasantly surprised!
My name is Nehemiah and I am 11 years old. I am training with Coach Stacy so I can be ready to play with my Middle School Basketball Team. Friday was my first training and my favorite part of training was the combination drills Coach Stacy had me do so I can improve my dribbling. I look forward to more practice with Coach Stacy.
Coach Guershon has been awesome in helping my daughter with developing better basketball workouts, better handling skills, as well as building better endurance.... he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and a great coach!!
Great app! More like great service in your pocket! Found a football trainer for my son in less then an hour! Great communication and easy flexible schedule!
great app great website also...let me find a coach that fit my kids needs and he responded immediatly...had a great time look forward to doing more with him. thanks for making it easy to use
I really enjoy teaching my craft, coachup is awesome for connecting you to athletes you may not be able to work with during the season! worked with an athlete from D1 enjoyed the level attention to detail
Working as a coach through coach up is really straight forward. They have great customer service and the million dollar insurance policy is assuring.
My daughter has had 3 sessions with coach Jacqueline Keeley and she is one of the BEST coaches, my 16 year old sprinter has been struggling with her school coach who's a distance runner and coach Keeley has helped my daughter with her form and improving her time as a sprinter. She's motivating, personable, patient, caring and a phenomenal coach...my daughter and I LOVE her and we are looking forward to our 4th session with her...
Easy to use. Flawless. Makes it easy to communicate with coach. Glad to see articles sent out also
As a coach, this app is a great medium to use to communicate with and schedule clients. Two thumbs up!
It's a scam. No refund possible even when they cancel scheduled session. Very disappointed
Great app helped me a lot only concern it takes too long to get paid. Sometimes you wonder if are even going to get paid
coach up is perfect for finding a mentor and personal coach for your individual needs!! our son is really excelling with his coach Mike!
Super easy and we found a great coach. I would recommend this app to everyone.
App was easy to use. Coach Mitchell was great and enthusiastic with Ez.
Coach up is great. The coach I chose for my teenage son was a great fit. Our coach for soccer, Giancarlo met my expectations.
Great way to connect with athletes privately and build there skilll development up.
Love the Coach and what's being taught! Excellent! Hands-down! Do NOT like the auto-debit from my account. I have a very intricate balance re: my finances and I do not traditionally use auto-withdrawals on any of my accounts for this very reason. Coaching is great! My Coach, Coach Adaeze is great but don't like how payments are handled via the app and I do not always find the app/site navigation as user-friendly as I would like.
