Held every February the racecourse starts on the West coast, at Kumara beach and traverses the width of the island, crossing the main divide and finishing on the East Coast.
Over the years that grew to a peak of close to 1000 competitors and the event has grown with different sections to suit all those from the professional athletes to the weekend warriors.

Could find the athlete but then there is nothing. On a samsung S8. really disappointing that this seems to be a constant issue
Another year on & the athletes section is STILL empty in android version, 10 days til race day.... you've had a year to sort this out!
search function for athletes doesn't work .. tries deleting and reinstalling .. still doesn't work
App does not have any results page and can not manage to search or follow competitors.
