Pretty good app. Like some of the features that it offers. Nice to see morr information on accounts, not all bank apps offer rates and maturity dates. The need to call in for information is significantly less. It does have trouble loading on occasion. Check that it's pain in the.... forever has Network connection issues. Need to Uninstall and reinstall and it works again for a time... maybe and undate from the overpaid tech. department is in order.
I would live to see biometrics on the app. Fingerprint instead of password everytime. I would also like the option of a simpler password. Let me worry about my own security. Never had an issue with it at RBC. Also, there's weird time outs and it sometimes will kick me off and I have to do a hard rest of the password.
Very old UI design and slow servers. I opened a business account in this credit union to support local banks rather than those big banks. But I'm disappointed with my decision. 99% of my banking is through app or website and this app is like from the windows 95 era. Very slow response and only the bare basic features. I wanted to print a void cheque and this app or their website doesn't have any option for that. I'll be switching to other proper bank, if they don't invest money in the app.
Was excited for bug fixes but the update is far worse. Unable to deposit checks for our business, it just crashes and says no network. But it has enough network to send an error report. Updated my phone, reinstalled app, nothing works. Really, really bad.
This new update flashy but super annoying! The accounts activity no longer shows you the amount in the account when transactions were made. Just the current total. Now I have to use the browser anyway if I want more details. Why change this?! I don't understand
Using a note 10 plus and this app is amazing. I love how I can add my other my other bank accounts and credit cards on here. Budgeting has never been so easy. Oh and I recently found out I could go in and change the description. Super handy if you are taking over finances for a loved one. THANK YOU!
Seems to work well after they patched some bugs. If you have any issues email them and they fix it right away. I have been completely blown away by the customer service at cccu. Last time this app had an issue, I reported it and they called me the next day to let me know they were working on a fix. The following day they called again saying it was fixed. I can't recommend cccu enough. I'll never go back to a big bank.
Since the latest update it will not work on my phone anymore. Apparently a few other persons have difficulties since the last update. To bad that sometimes some people can not leave good stuff alone. I was happy with this app. before the (improvements) as of now, absolute useless. Work good on my computer and tablet
Was working well enough until this latest update. Doesn't remember any settings you change and constantly requires sign in to even use quickview.(my partners app doesn't even give an option for quickview) It used to have every feature needed, now hardly any of the features work as intended.
Gets most of what you need to do done. I can't ennable quickview anymore - it's not under settings - and there's a mismatch between my phone and this app that results in no decimal points. Cue puns about a centsless app, but that means I CAN'T PAY A BILL UNLESS IT'S EVEN OR I OVERPAY AND I CAN'T DEPOSIT A CHEQUE UNLESS IT'S WHOLE DOLLARS. So there's that.
My experience with online banking has been positive. My biggest issue was when I was locked out of my account for trying different passwords and there was no help available. They are not available 7 days a week which was very frustrating!
App breaks all the time and won't let you sign in. In general it loads super slow and is incredibly unreliable. Have more than one had to just go into the bank because the app refuses to work at random. Really weak.
Since Android update when you try and deposit the photo button is right over the home button closing the app everytime you hit the button. Also not having fingerprint login when even the cheapest phones you can buy support it is ridiculous.
9/10 times won't work. When the app allows me to use it..its very easy to use. However most of the time it says network error or no internet even when on wifi.
Won't self launch properly when using a link from an interac etransfer. Sometimes pressing the login button in the app launches a webpage instead, with 404 of course... Poor quality app, rarely works properly.
App design has camera button right on top of the "close app" button for my Google phone. Photographing a cheque for deposit with my phone is now impossible - the app closes. Sigh. Other banking apps are much better.
Doesn't seem to detect network half the time, despite other apps working just fine. Tells me i have no network connection when other network apps continue working. Restarting my smartphone "fixed" it once. Memory leak?
Does not seem to function well any more... 😕 Update: June 29 - it's still not working properly. It won't display the account balance on the home screen even though it is set to do so.
Can't get the quick view anymore, it's not even in settings. And constantly logs out when I'm trying to deposit checks. Really needs a new update to fix bugs!
In past, never had any problems. Now it won't work properly and is all messed up. Unloaded& reinstalled and it still does not fix issue. I guess its time to go back to the website direct login.
When It works,it's great but it doesn't work 90%of the time. I have to restart my phone for this app to let me use it, says no internet access available even on wifi or data.
New version is freezing when I try to deposit checks. There was nothing wrong with the previous one. Why do app makers constantly break a perfectly good app to try to make it flashy?
The App decided to completely stop working today. I open it, go to do literally anything and it takes me to a white screen saying that i've entered the wrong information before i even type anything in. Can't even check my balances. Please fix this.
2 days since reported, still no repair on Dep feature from the App. Cccu says it's Android issue. How about they don't release updates if there are issues?
This quick and dirty app does the trick but there's a learning curve with different phone layouts/updates and it takes a while to figure them out. Recent upgrades have improved previous feature blocks which has made it much more accessible and successful for regular take. Great for quick access, transfers, and deposits (until now) and other features I don't regularly use are also very useful when the need arises
