My only two criticism so far is the "sign off" option, I always seem to miss it, it's not until I scroll all the way down the menu do I remember it's at the very top. Maybe it's just me. Second is getting locked out and having to find the call center to call instead of it being available as soon as I get the message I'm locked out. I have the security questions set up on the web browser site so maybe in the future I can reset it that way instead of calling.
I have used this app for over a year now. never had any issues until last month. I tried to get into the app and the loading just spins and spins. App won't load either on my tablet or my phone. Uninstalled-reinstalled I live out of state & relyed on this app to make my loan payments. I had to snail mail last month resulting in a late fee. Going to have to do the same thing again this month. Called the branch, waste of time. Just got the run around. Sadly I have been with VFCU since it opened.
I love Coast Hills. The staff always go above and beyond. I love doing mobile deposits, saves me a trip to the bank, and I get to keep the check! I would like it to be easier to manually take a picture of my check deposit. Sometimes it's very difficult to have it taken automatically and especially the back of the check is often blurry.
This app used to work fine, but i upgraded phones to the Google Pixel 3 and now it no longer functions. The first time i log in, it requires me to enter a PIN from an email, after which i can log in. If i log out after that, the app crashes any time i try to open it. I'm not sure what changed, but it's now impossible for me to use Update as of 10/01/2019, I'm not sure if it was recent updates to the app or my Android device, but the app is back to working as expected
App just started crashing. Checked to see when the last update was and it has been a while. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This did not help. The app crashes as soon as I log into my account. When the app crashes it give me the option to notify support but closes before I get to type anything.
Got this for mobile deposits, it's only worked once? Its rejected everything I've given it since. I've uninstalled and reinstalled app and still nothing. super annoying!!! **update: Coast hills responded within minuted of me posting this offering help. Apparently you have to havevery neat hand writing to make the mobile deposit work. Ive had very little, if any, issues with this app since 👍
mostly a very good app. The key piece that is missing (that your competition has already integrated into their apps) is an ability to view (and edit) a comprehensive list of recurring/automatic payments.
App has been great for years but lately after the recent update, everytime I try to check my recent transactions through my current available balance, it completely crashes. Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this.
the most frustrating bank I've ever dealt with. can't make an online payment from another account. can't get help from someone that knows anything. app doesnt have all the features that the web site does. so frustrating
Very frustrated with this app. I rely on mobile deposits and this app has crashed repeatedly every attempt despite multiple reinstalls. Now I cannot get funds in my account thanks to my choice of bank. Im ready to switch to a bank with reliable deposit options.
Ok I had to edit my original review that gave the app 3 stars because of the mobile deposit difficulties. Ok ok just tried it out a few minutes ago and it is AWESOME. Thank you coasthills, the previous technology was frustrating. This was fantastic
Fully functional for everything it claims to do. No bugs or major errors. A clean and efficient tool. As it should be. Thanks Coast Hills for being awesome!
App worked great until it just stopped. I deleted and reloaded. it said i needed a code that was emailed to me. It would not accept the code. I'm bead in the water, cannot access my account. And there is no contact number to speak to someone about this problem.
Galaxy S9+ since updating app keeps telling me "service temporarily unavailable. please reboot your device". does not work even after rebooting several times, then uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
App update is frustrating. After the recent update 7/2020 I have not been able to log in. I have deleted, reinstall, updated, logged on my laptop... making a new password and followed instructions AND it still doesn't work.
I've used this app for many years and it has only gotten better. Wish they would add a widget to allow users to view balances quickly and at a glance without having to open up the app.
Worked great for over a year. Stopped working when I updated my phone to android 9. I'm not sure if all Android 9 devices are affected, or just Samsung phones.
The app will not work with the Pixel 3, im having to delete and reinstall the app consistently. Coasthills provides great customer service, this app though, could use some help.
Secure with a understandable user interface. Very easy to stay on top of your finances. Easy to access account activity and balances. Mobile deposits are easy to use and convenient.
They update the app and completely break it, terrible customer service on the phone they have to clue how to fix it other than uninstall and reinstall. How about test your updates before rolling them out. Ill be changing banks soon tired of the poor service and app straight out of 2001.
it's 2019 and CHFCU has an app developer that uses its customers to do software testing instead of being proactive like all other reputable app developers and obtain future versions of "soon to be released" OS's for Apple and Android devices, to ensure compatibility BEFORE its released to public...but NO..now after installing Android 9 and having my Phone LOCK UP and spending my time to report it..they release an email not to install it...WAY TOO LATE CHFCU!
Needs a revamp. It just looks old, greasy, crusty... etc. Also I can't look at my credit card transactions on the app.
A great app from a great credit union. I've never had a problem with it. It's fast and easy to navigate. I'd recommend this to anyone who banks with Coast Hills.
Used to work great. But now can not print copy of cancelled check. When try to retire from looking up balance of account to main list, signs me out. Get no (none) help when contacting.
I like this app. I always know that i can check my account anytime i need/want to no matter where i am. (except when its down for maintenance or no signal) and i have never had any problems.
the app does not allow u to access function and u have to go somewhere else for bill pay which is understood but it does not take you there almost always I have to go to the website to accomplish what I am after I use a samsung 10
I can only check my balance now. No detailed account information. It crashes and restarts. I've reinstalled it and it still doesn't work
The app is fantastic when it works. But like others I've been experiencing the issue where it crashes constantly until you delete and reinstall the app. Then it opens ONCE. On and off for around a year, I've been having to delete and reinstall the app every time I want to use it. Edit: well, it's July 14th and they have definitely updated the app as promised. Only now when I open it, there's a screen letting me know they updated the app, with no option to navigate anywhere else or do anything.
