Cobra PowrPro Black

After installing this on every new or old device I have, I've decided either the tuner itself has a Bluetooth problem or the app is incapable of functioning. I cannot connect to the tuner at all. Ever. Over the 4 years and many devices I've had. The tuner seems to work with my exhaust and intake upgrades pretty quick, but the Bluetooth connection is non-existent. . . . The tuner is a decent bolt on. The app is hilarious. All permissions allowed. Every device. Nada. Nothing. LMAO

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ I had the same problem with suddenly no longer connecting to the app as I see many reviews have. I went through multiple phones and even my tablet. Nothing worked. After many emails back and forth with Cobra, they sent me a new circuit board. Everything works now.... anyone that's been having that problem it's worth contacting them.

2009 Victory Jackpot 106cu. Installed the cobra powrpro black application and it definitely needs work. Bugs in the software are heavily prevalent. If you want to use the software, you have to manually enable ALL permissions {on Android phones} in order to connect. After adjusted fuel controller settings and saved to device, the previous settings don't seem to be saved or retrieved in the application. so you don't really know whether it updated the device or rolled back the settings. Terrible.

This app works great with an older Android device. I was having trouble connecting with a Samsung S10e. I called the nice folks at Cobra and the suggestion was to try an older Android tablet if I had one. Luckily I did, and the app connected right to the module. (Android V6.0.1) You will not be able to pair through Bluetooth settings, just do it directly from the app. I would love to see an updated version of this app that works with newer devices running the most recent versions of Android.

Starting with a 4 because it took some research to get this app working...and it's snowing out so I can't test it. Install was pretty easy, took me about 45 min. Getting the ap to work was the hard part. I have an S10 so the first error I had was the PIN number request. I read the reviews on here and turned on all permissions. That fixed the PIN problem. Then I had the retrieving data that wouldn't go away. I hit cancel, had to shut down the app, the tried connecting again. It worked correctly

#1. After downloading the app, go to app settings in your phones settings and enable all three permissions. Don't whine, just do it. #2. To connect app to device (when powered up/engine on) press the "not connected" label at the top, right, of the app screen. When "POWER PRO" pops up tap it to connect. #3. Don't expect a detailed description or a "how to" on what the apps different functions are. #4. Read the card/info that came with it. Read these reviews. Read everything you can find. Or call the Cobra techs and ask for directions. LOL #5. The device really does work!!! I'm very happy after leaning the "CRUISE" setting down to 4% from factory set at 10. It was blubbering rich at idle and would occasionally stall. Better than paying for a re-tune and/or dyno at every mod done to my bike!

After 34 emails going back and forth, the person telling me it's my phone. I have done everything they ask as far as updating network on my phone, resetting everything and still doesn't connect. They to me that they will send me a prepaid box to send my unit back so they can test it 4 weeks ago and still nothing from them. I had no issues until Android updated and after reading many reviews about the app never been updated could be the main problem. I will never buy another cobra product again

I found the app easy to use once all permissions were granted in the app manager of my phone,(why is that necessary by the way?). After it had connected I could access all of the features as described. I fail to see the use of it, though as the unit is supposed to do all this for me automatically. More instructions for manual tuning would make this more useable. Nice gizmo to use though. Overall the app does what it says it will.

After trying and spending a lot of time trying to get the phone ,Galaxy Note 10, to allow the app to turn on Bluetooth while this app was running I simply got a Galaxy s5 to run as a dedicated programmer. As others have stated the app needs to be updated to work with current phones or clearly list this app will not work for newer phones and be honest.

App doesn't work with newer phones. Should be updated. If your lucky enough to get it connected it will be stuck in retrieving data mode and not function. Too bad, because the tuner would be awesome of you could actually fine tune it with your phone.

Don't buy this tuner if you have an android phone. The app will not work with newer versions of Android. I have been going round and round with Cobra snd they refuse to own up to the problem. They just want to blame it on settings instead of updating their app. Will never buy another cobra product they don't stand behind them.

this app is horrible. first off if you can get it to connect and stay connected it works fine but the connectivity of this app is really really bad, It needs to be updated to work with the newer Android phones. For the money that we paid for this fuel processor we should not have to uninstall and reinstall this app every time we want to use it.

It used to work fine, but now is stuck "retrieving data". Not sure if this is because my phone updated to Android 10 or what. I've re-paired it via Bluetooth and the same thing happens. Please advise.

ok do your research...had to load app on old s7 galaxy phone to make work,allowing all permissions to app! if it fails to connect close app reopen it.my bike would not connect unless it was running! but ones i got it working! its fantastic on my 07 warrior...ive used cobra products for years its rarely there products when theres a problem..it people not knowing how to use them....

Same as everyone else. Garbage! Granted access to the high havens but still asks for a passcode. Garbage! Decided to ride around as it's supposed to be variable tuning and I threw a check engine light. Running rich front cylinder. Customer service has been horrible. They want to charge me to warranty a product with known issues. I ordered a exhaust that didnt come with hardware or even a muffler and they are saying nope never happened even tho there are multiple reviews with the same issue.

This app doesn't work as advertised. No real support from the manufacture and no updates available. Definitely avoid this product if you want to see what the power commander is doing. The power commander appears to work great but because it never connects to my Galaxy S20 Ultra I can't verify or change anything. Calls to the manufacture I was advised to check the web. Called back a 2nd time was directed to call the App dev myself. Total BS

Ok. Won't connect to my V Rod and the description says there is a FAQ in the app. Not there that I see unless you have to connect to see it. Anyone else here see a pattern emerging? It is a real problem because it took me hours to install and it is not running as smooth as before I did.

Hello. Am unable to connect the Bluetooth to my samsung s10 cell phone. All features are on accept on phone but still am unable to pair the devices... Any help or advise will be appreciated

You need to turn on all permissions in the app settings of your phone. After I did that it works great with my S21 Ultra. UPDATE This only worked for a very short time and can not longer connect

Cannot retrieve data. Tried everything tech said. Now says he can start a Warranty claim. So I pay 500 for unit, 9 months later send it back to be looked at or replaced. All while my street glide sits and waits for the end of the season? Might just go with fp3 and call it a day. There app works great.

I believe the developer should update the app, as now it doesn't work. It is stuck at "Retrieving data" message when trying to connect. For the money spent on this nifty gadget thing should work flowlessly.

This app is not connecting at all on my Huawei P10 Lite (Android 8) Granted all permissions to the app; Turned on GPS and Bluetooth; Uninstalled / reinstalled the app; On Bluetooth connection settings, the device is not discovered at all.

App connected and all that fun stuff. But it took a while. The thing is, I bought this so it does all the tuning automatically, so why do I need the app ? More importantly, it didn't improve my bike's performance one bit....

bought a bike with tuner already installed. i cant get it to con ect to my phone. called and they stated that since i was not origanl purchaser that is was ust out of luck getting it to work.. ill never buy a cobra product just for that reason. they should back there name and repair or troubleshoot a product.

the powrpro black was easy to install, paired to my android phone 1st try. would like to have more info on adjustments like when to and why I should or shouldn't tune manually..

Tuner does not connect to s9+ but will connect to older tablet. App needs updated for newer phones. Also needs a little bit more info giving on what the bike is doing so adding fuel or taking away fuel is more precise.

Android app won't connect to powrpro tuner. Luckily I have an iPhone for work and that connects no problem. Please update Android version
