A waste of time, it takes longer to use the app to design a mix and then sync to the machine, than it does to just operate the Freestyle machine using its touch screen. Mixing shouldn't be exclusive to the app, it could just as easily be accomplished through a touch-screen design interface, and you can do it manually by pouring yourself even if it's imprecise.
This was so much better before the March 2019 update! All my mixes and favorites are gone, half the drink options are missing, and the home screen isnt loading properly, just large red squares with "pour now" and "view drink" with no image where there should be one. This is poorly designed and has removed half the earlier features. Two stars is generous.
This app is TRASH!! After the recent update, it's worthless. You can no longer login so all of your previous mixes...GONE! I was literally standing in front of a freestyle machine wanting to pour a custom drink, but the drinks the machine can pour are nowhere to be found in the app. Not to mention the drinks that can be mixed in the app, couldn't even be poured by the machine because it didn't have the drinks that were used in the mix. Whoever designed the workflow for this app should be FIRED.
Poor redesign of the app. The most recent update (3/6/19) removed the login account feature and all saved favorites and custom mixes. The recent update also does not show all of the available drinks. I would rate the app 5 stars again when I get all of my favorite and custom drinks.
If the flavors were actually available for ALL of the drinks, only then will it be truly freestyle! The frustrating thing about these machines is that maybe I want just vanilla, strawberry, or cranberry added to my Dr. Pepper- or that combination togethe (but STRONGLY DISLIKE cherry flavoring!). The options are too limiting for this machine and the app doesn't make the limitations any better. Only some flavors are available to each classic drink. Also, what if I wanted to add 2 parts Strawberry Dr. Pepper and one part Dr. Pepper to my favorites? This isn't an option either. Let. me be free to choose what flavors go with what and I will update my rating. (Also, it would be helpful if these machines were better maintained and stocked!)
Lost my whole profile and no longer shows all available drinks. I will probably never use the app again. I reverted back to the older version. Coke, you need to fix this, noone wants to loose their mixes.
Recent update ruined the app. All mixes are gone, no place to log in, no longer able to browse community favorites. The "popular" section is now just 5 drinks that are just a base soda with a flavor, which I can do more quickly than the app can at the actual machine. Making the app completely useless.
Loved the old Freestyle app. It worked just fine. But now it's completely defunct and the new replacement app is incompatible with my phone. Guess it's back to manual mixing for me.
This app was great until today. The new update has wiped out all my saved mixes. The selection of drinks has been drastically limited and doesn't match the machines near me. I tried a new blend on the machine at my work and even though it connects, it won't dispense anything. Did Coca-Cola even test this update before releasing it?
latest update ruined it. erased all my mixes and no longer gives the option to sign in. also it doesn't even display the correct drinks for what the machine has (pibb). really liked this app before this update.
was good now horrible. I wish I knew how to go back an update because I have had this app for at least 4 years and all my mixes are gone and I cant recreate my mixes because all they have is soda choices and not even all of them to begin with! very upset on this. I dont suggest this till its fixed.
Wow, what happened to this app? Got a new phone and now can't login to my account, so can't access my mixes nor can I even reformulate them because all the choices are gone like the flavored cokes, its just base flavors to choose from. Gets two stars for how good it used to be but, as is, app is useless.
Since the update, all of my mixes are gone. New design is ugly and counterintuitive. Such a shame. Used this app all the time. Hope they fix it soon.
Update deleted all of my saved drinks, with no way to get them back. Half of the options are not listed anymore. Some of the options listed are not available in the physical machines.
Loved this app but haven't been able to use in a long time. For some reason it thinks I'm in the EU and says that they are "currently making changes." As soon as I acknowledge this, the app closes. Been like this for over 3 months.
Downloaded the app and all I get is a message saying that "if you are in the EU, we are currently making changes for a better experience ..." All i can do is tap ok and the app shuts down. I am in North America.
tapped on the freestyle machine, but it won't pour my mixtures. not just one machine either. every machine is now like this. with every machine like this, this app has become worthless.
This is an incredible app with a great phone to real world gimmick! It even gives me options to make delicious mixes easily! I would recommend it to others!
Total BS, waste of time! Marketing manager must be ashamed, cheap trick to get download counts!! On Bottle says to download this app to register code under the cap and as it turns out this is not the app for this. Cheap trick for such a big company. You need to be embarrassed of yourselfs !!!
The early March update looks great but there's no way to sign in and access my saved mixes. Very disappointing!
march update broke the app. i cant log in, all my mixes are gone, some drinks dont show, and it won't let me edit and fix mixes without a full delete of the mix.
Too time consuming to enter and HATED that it limits number of entries per week. If I am going to take time to enter all the caps saved I should be able to. Don't make me do it every week - waste of time!!!
False advertising. I downloaded the app for the rewards but there aren't any. The screenshots show that there are rewards even though there aren't.
The new version (March 2019) is horrible. First, you lose all of the saved data from the prior versions, and then you can't recreate the mixes because the app has so few options compared to what the machines have, and what I need for the mixes, that you're literally better off manually creating the mixes, which makes the app completely useless. it's being deleted shortly after I post this review.
