★ SMART SHOPPING ASSISTANTGet ideas on what ingredients to buy to prepare new drink recipes. The shopping assistant includes a cost estimate calculator which is a great way to plan the drinks for your next party. Set the currency in the Settings menu to have prices appear in your local currency.
★ FIND THE DRINK YOU’RE LOOKING FORBrowse cocktail recipes by categories, packages or using the advanced search function. Drink recipes are categorized by base drink (gin, rum, tequila, vodka, brandy, champagne), type (classical, long drink, tropical, creamy, shooter, non-alcoholic), event (New Years, Christmas, St Patrick’s Day, Valentine's Day) and color (red, blue, green, pink, yellow).
★ BARTENDER GUIDESIf you’re new to bartending you’ll find the bartender guides section useful to learn more about mixology. The guides go through cocktail making basics from using bar tools, types of glassware all the way to garnishing tricks like creating a salt rim or a lemon spiral.
★ FAVORITES & SIMILAR COCKTAILSMark drink recipes you like as favorites to find them easily next time. All cocktails also have a list of drinks that are of similar taste or style listed so you can explore other drinks you might like.
★ COCKTAIL PACKAGES FOR ALL OCCASIONSThe application comes with lots of cocktail recipes at install and even more cocktails can be downloaded from packages which can be free or premium. The current packages include Alcohol Free (non-alcoholic cocktails), Shooters (a variation of shots), Basic Cocktails (a collection of well known cocktails), Christmas cocktails (wintery and holiday drinks), New Years cocktails (champagne and bubbly cocktails), Valentine’s Day (red, creamy and sweet drinks) and St Partrick’s Day (Irish themed and green cocktails), The Big Game (Super Bowl cocktails with themed American football drinks and special ones created for Super Bowl XLVI)

I am a long time user of this app and I like it very much. I recently subscribed to Premium to be able to save custom recipes. My only gripe with the 'My Cocktails' feature that you cannot really choose from the ingredient collection of the app, you have to write down everything in plain text. Also there isn't an option to add equipments needed for the recipe. If the developers read this, please add these features.
The lack of an ability to filter for cocktails that you can make ruins the utility of this otherwise amazing app. There is no good reason for the "cocktails by ingredient/strength/color/era" and "cocktails I can make" to be separate lists. By separating them, the utility of both are ruined. If you decide, "I want to make something strong with rum tonight" you need to flip back and forth between the two views (3 clicks apart) and scan both lists with your eyeballs to find a match
Beautiful graphics and props from a blog. Dowloaded... My first three clicks I encountered three messages telling me to subscribe for access. Didnt have the patience to search out the functional stuff. I'll stick with My Bar Pro. I think you need to make the functional stuff more accessible and up front, and bury the subscription nags somewhere so that people would actually use it before getting nagged. Uninstalled.
The best cocktail app there is. Beautiful UI and visuals. Love how intuitive it is and how easy it is to find classics and oddballs alike. Feature rich. Must have for me behind the bar so I can look like I'm more knowledgeable than I am 😜
Missing some cocktail ingredients in some recipes, but overall pretty good app. One big one I noticed is in the aviation it's missing creme de violet, but I'm sure there are others. Also the premium thing is dumb. If you want to make money, instead sell cocktail equipment or get us deals on ingredients.
Doesnt have jägermeister and irish cream! Can you believe it? For all its pretty visual this fails to be what it set out to be.. i used this app 5+ years ago and it did have all of those at that time! Look for other small time apps - they do a better job with inclusion of all drinks as well as suggest alternatives when your bar is misisng an ingredient. Cocktail flow has just lost app of its greatness is just a joke now.
Great app- just wish it was easier to filter the drinks you can make with your ingredients in the same way you can filter in discover (instead of just sorting alphabetically.) I also noticed that when deciding which drinks you can make, the app will display cocktails that have ingredients you don't have but that you have a substitute for. This is good, but what you need to use from your bar to substitute for that ingredient needs to be shown so you know what to do.
Kinda stupid. Let's you include your bar, but reccomends cocktails for which you don't have the ingredients for without identifying subsitutions. Also, a good number of cocktails are behind a pay wall. Great interface, however, the underlying ethos of the app is flawed. Going back to My Bar.
Won't allow me to select more than three pantry ingredients as once. When I select the fourth it deselects the first one. This means the best function, the one which tells you what you can make with what you have in stock, is completely malfunctioning.
Way too many recipes behind a paywall. I get having the "my bar" drinks behind it, but not random recipes. The subscription paywall is also expensive; it's better to just find what drinks you can make instead and improvise of you're missing something. Disappointing app.
I lost all my cocktails in favourites... Not cool! App looks nice and modern made but not reliable. Also they don't respond to all recipe errors and also they don't fix them, although error is very obvious. Look for Malubu bay breeze cocktail. They say you need 12 cl of pineapple wedge instead of juice. Thanks but no thanks there are better, cheaper and more reliable apps in Google Play (My cocktail bar). Edit: I already have the latest version v2.2.1.
Long time user of this app. I enjoy it tons. Sad to say today I can't seem to get the premium features to work. The app acts like it has no subscription then declines with the error that I'm already subscribed. The free drinks are rad, but I definitely miss the premium features.
This app was great. I've been using it for years, but the most recent update has rendered it an unusable waste of space. Nothing renders correctly and the app just plain cannot even be used.
Selected 6 spirits and 4 other liqueurs and everything in the pantry and it still suggested only one cocktail. I know at least 6 very mainstream ones that can be made easily. Don't pretend this is a free app if it's not. Hopefully you see something if you pay.
As a bartender this has helped massively with both my job and home. I often make cocktails in work that are requested by customers, some of which, are off the menu and with this app I no longer have to scroll through 5 Googled recipes. At home I make cocktails for friends and family and this makes finding available cocktails with what ingredients I have available so much easier.
The old (free) version of the app was simple (in a good way) and had more cocktails and better bar stock. £4.99/mth or £19.99/year is ridiculous. I've paid less for satnav apps with traffic!
this app used to be free and offer way more then what they offer now. it's ashame they used to sell random holiday based packs but now everything is locked behind a pay wall. this app is very well put together and I loved it in the past but unfortunately since coming to android from when I had it way back on my windows phone I won't be using an app I can look up recipes on google for free especially at the price this app is charging
i had this app on Windows phone. it was great. I liked that your could buy recipe packs. the subscription model is absurd. I don't mind paying for cocktails, packs, or the app even. I mind to subscribe.
Absolutely love it. Sometimes when under pressure in the bar and you get 5 diferent cocktails to make, all ingredients mush into 1 when under pressure. This is a great memory booster. And realy simple to use. Im not at premium yet but will buy it asap. Thanks for this app guys
What a cool app. Love the visuals, the notes, the recipes and the fact is that you can put in the contents of your bar and see what all you can make. Five stars!!!
****UPDATE**** Lightning fast dev help to fix the problem. App works well and is fun to use. Be sure to have ice in your bar list or your drink options will be quite small!! **************************** Spent the time to load the app, get a premium subscription, enter 46 ingredients into the home bar and the assistant comes back with a whopping 8 drinks I can make with all those assembled components. Something is broken.
It's a shame that custom cocktails is a premium feature. Why not give more things for free with ads included. "Premium" in this day and age where ads have matured so much is plan annoying.
I used cocktail flow years ago on windows phone and it was great. I just remembered it and installed it here. Really disappointed in this new monthly payment subscription model. What happened to one time purchase? What clown makes monthly payments on a cocktail app?
Overall great app, I like the idea, and I don't mind the pay wall like many people here. However, when introducing a pay wall, please fix all the bugs.. I have already lost my list of favourite cocktails twice, and the app often crashes, or shows variable names instead of actual ingredients. Would easily give it 5 stars if these issues are fixed.
