Love the app. And the variety of drinks, the ability to keep my own bar. However, it just spins when you try to "log in" using either Facebook it Google. I can't "heart" my favorite drinks, but tells me I have to log in. A bug that needs to be fixed. Would love to be able to use my own log in and password.
App could be better... when ingredients saved to my bar... you would think that the app would give a list of cocktails you could make. I have searched and couldn't find any such data. This is a massive downside as you have to search through each cocktail recipient to see if you can make it with list of ingredients you have available.
So much potential, but fails. You add you bar ingredients and it spits out a massive, crowd-sourced list of cocktails you can make. That part is good. But the list has NO way to be sorted or browsed. Feeling in the mood for bourbon? Good luck finding the bourbon drinks you can make among hundreds of drinks with no pictures or descriptions in main list. You need to be able to filter that list or at least give more info in the main list while you scroll.
Very annoying. Has the most recipes of any app. But naff app. No way to filter cocktails, can't search for "long" or "shots" they're all just trending or whatever. The ingredients list is stupidly complicated. Things like creme de menthe is called "peppermint" so makes it stupidly hard to add ingredients. And plenty of common ones aren't there such as peach schnapps.
If a cocktail isn't in this app, then it's likely it just doesn't exist. One tab in each cocktail depicts different glasses which, when clicked on, describes a different variation of the original drink and the name of that variation. This is a truly useful tool for new and experienced professional bartenders and home barkeeps alike.
Can you please fix it so I can actually use the app? it won't let me log in. It loads forever on the login screen. My phone screen locks because it just keeps 'loading'. Once I get into the app, once I try to save something for a recipe, it tells me to long in, but then in the settings, it shows me logged in 😑 so it's a useless app right now.
I only wish you could filter the cocktails list by ingredients you have on hand. Right now there's zero point to adding all of your ingredients into the app, because you can't do anything with them once they're in there. Other, I guess, than take them back off. In that case, it's a glorified shopping list.
LUV this app while training bartending at my neighborhood bar,,,Used this app a few times to pull up cocktail drinks quickly to make sure I didn't forget any ingtediants! Also use to memorize drinks & pics help with the visual...I put a lot of drinks in my "favorites" drop down menu & literally takes seconds to find the drink I am searching...The bar patron doesn't even notice...i wish there are more coctail pictures uploaded because a lot of drinks are blank..but I You Tube a lot of drinks too!
GREAT App!! Seriously this is any bartender's BEST friend! Not only are you able to use it as an extremely quick reference in the event that you happen to forget the exact ingredients to a specific drink or simply do not know how to make it, it also allows you the opportunity to learn TONS of new drinks so that you can always remain fresh and up to date on the latest drinks and most importantly, introduce new drink to your customers! Definitely a huge fan of this app!
very well laid out and professional app. great for people looking to get into making top class cocktail with minimal experience. I would appreciate the ability to be able to add my own recipes and it would be amazing if I could keep my profile private and send people a code to share to, to give them access, I could use this for my work. give new bartenders access to my spec list and when somebody leaves remove them access if you're considering making a pro version and happily pay for it.
Ok after using it for a while I must say app is very limited and there is lot work to do. Lot of cocktails missing, i cannot find option to add cocktail. My cocktails tab display all bunch of cocktails instead the one u could choose. I also cannot find option to upload your own pic even though it suppose to be. App not bad but lot to do to make it good. 4 stars in advance, hope it will become better, soon.
It is so informative. It doesn't have absolutely everything, but it has most of the cocktails I would nor ally encounter. The layout is easy on the eyes and navigation is intuitive.
Been trying to log on all day, app just crashes every time I try to log in through either Facebook or Google. Deleted and redownloaded, still doesn't work. Turned off phone (Galaxy S10+) and turned back on multiple times, still crashes. App does not work.
I have just started looking at this app, but so far very nice. I would prefer the app go straight to the recipe when you chose a cocktail, instead of the info. Or at least list the ingredients to give a hint to what it will be about.
Great app with lots of recipes and ingredients! I just wish we could upload photos of our drinks. There seems to be some problem sharing photos. After all, presentation is half the battle for cocktails.
For the love of God fix the favorites function! 75% of the time, i get "an error occurred, please try again later" when trying to mark a cocktail as a favorite. How am I going to find that drink again? If not for this glaring issue, i would give the app 5 stars.
Interface,pictures,informations,pictures,descriptions,even video clips.All what you need. I don't feel like looking for another aplication of this type. Super!
Not great. Don't know why they need to pressure for Facebook or Google login, the ingredients are not easy to go through, and there seems to be no pictures of the cocktails, and the ingredients don't match what I've selected that I have.
Could use the ability to add custom recipes, and also show more easily what you're missing in a recipe. But other than that it's very in depth and informative
I really love this app, and use it often. I find the cocktail collection rather incomprehensive, but they are detailed and precise, with added origins and historical analysis.
Over the years I have used many cocktail apps, and I feel that this app is on its way to being one of the best cocktail apps ever made. My thoughts are... Keep the app updated. Allow users to add, and save their own cocktails. Fix all mistakes. Those 3 things will make this a #1 app. Good Luck
Awful. It couldn't even start - it required a login and then it went on to "loading" for several minutes until I gave up. Then it wouldn't let me cancel nor go back, giving me a message saying it would "take few minutes".
A quick sample search for 'Manhattan' turns up a handful of abominations, including one with butterscotch liqueur and pineapple juice (wtaf?) - but not a single recipe for the actual classic cocktail known as a "Manhattan." Plus the search results were riddled with dupe recipes and nonsense user-submitted junk. Immediately uninstalled.
Great app, can be a little daunting at first but this is every home bartender's dream app. Would be perfect if you could add recipes and ingredients.
If youre new to making cocktails or even have tons of experience, this is a very helpful app to have in your arsenal. Dont have something memorized, just pop it in and search. Highly recommended
Seems to be missing the most obvious feature: ability to view drinks for which you actually have the ingredients. Currently if I search one ingredient, it still shows me thousands of drinks i can't make. Updating "My Bar" appears pointless.
So far really enjoying this app when I use it. Very nice variety of recipes with variations separated out so they're easy to go through and choose from. The "my bar" function is pretty broad and useful, and I like that it's kept my bar selections despite not having an actual account. My point off is because it's not as intuitive as I'd like to see. Having the recipe on a different page after clicking into a drink is a little annoying and I remember it took me a while to realize it was separate.
