Code editor - Edit JS, HTML, CSS, PHP, Files -free

Great code editor, and I was impressed at how well the JS/HTML preview works. Sometimes it's nice to be able to review a codebase and make small changes when away from my main PC. I can recommend Syncthing-fork to connect the two. Recently I've been having this problem where files can't be saved or loaded at all. I can see folders in the file hierarchy, but no files. I don't think I messed up file permissions. The result is that I haven't used this program in a while. Awaiting an update.

Used to love this app But after recent updates , the app is unable to show files inside folders under in-app file browser and also unable to save files .. i have been using old version v1.4.163 for a while but it keeps auto updating I request the development Team to please Fix this issue.

Soft keyboard text-selection keys don't work for quick copy/paste and modifying code, and the home and end keys don't do anything, making it slower to work with than similar editors. However, it has the best and most comprehensive syntax highlighting and code completion I've ever seen in a mobile app.

It does one of those things that should automatically get an app de-listed: harasses you to rate it, then if you rate it low, it brings you to an email. This would have been a 2 or 3-star, but. Also there's absolutely no ability to stop having it reopen files when it starts up again. I've yet to want this feature in anything, but it's extremely common - so you open a file the app doesn't like, it lags the entire device, so you close the app, only to start the entire problem again. This code editor is so good so far and has helped me a lot with my project. But copying some texts really gives me so much pain, it just doesn't work well. Please fix it, please. I'll give you 5 stars only if it's already fixed.

Amazing app! However! It can be improved further. 1.One of the most annoying things is, it doesn't have fullscreen shortcut and we have to go to settings in order to switch it to fullscreen. 2.Another thing is, it should have 'device emulator' for checking responsive designs based on custom width and height.

Well, this deleted my file without permission... you kept saying rubbish review, I'm saying my experience and hopefully get it sorted, I saw some complain about it in other reviews and you replied which means this isn't the first time. I was enjoying the app and even recommended it to my team mates because I can check how it looks on chrome. when the HTML disappeared, I copied my css to another app, then restarted the phone, now the HTML and CSS are 0 byte...I get nothing from rating you poor..

I too am having the "no save" issue. LineageOS 18.1, rooted with GApps. Too bad. Great app, but nearly useless if I can't save. ***UPDATE: The save problem seems to have gone away. Not sure why.. So I'm changing my rating. Only problem now seems to be requiring JS and HTML in same folder in order to "play" the HTML... Once again, great app.

Tried many code editors for Android but this one is on a different league! Great job dev.. Many cool features and shortcuts saves alot of time and the amount of editor theme it has its just insane 🤯 5/5 from me!

Why can't I call styling in style.css? Even though I've called in the html, but when I run it it doesn't match what I wrote, I give the background it doesn't appear, when I try it on Other applications work, please fix the developer I was happy at first using this app

The experience was so good but I give it 4 stars because whenever I try to save the file in my own folder for the html project... It isn't there and out of my folder there's so many html.txt files and whenever I open it I lost my new creation... Pls considering to fix this problem since I want to make my own website

This app is perfect. one thing missing is font customization/import, because your app only has two. UPDATE : I understand here's 5 star for you effort. but I hope you can add more font.

Can't open or write to files anymore. Not sure when that happened but it doesn't list any code or text files in my folders, only pngs and pdfs... It also doesnt allows me to save if I create a new file it just says "ERROR: Invalid modification". In the permissions I can't give it full files access, only media files...

The best mobile coding app I ever use. It's simple and basically good. I lost the app for like 2year, forgot the name self then had to ask from someone to remain me the name of the application

when i wanna save a file, its seem blank. so i cannot save file and then the app is being useless.

Hi just rating it 4 star right now, I really love this app but it is important for me to access the data folder for the project I am working on. I wish that on the next update this app will have the power to manipulate folders inside the data folder just like zArchiver, thank you!

AWFUL APP! I'm very adept with mobile phone keyboards. Not with this app! A 2-line high band of what are almost always—in most other apps—full of useful quick keys for easier, in this case, programming. NOPE! You have < > ^ (and down) direction keys that will wipe the program written so far right off the screen, and no memory or retrieval exists. Trying to open the keyboard Number Screen will not open and removes the keyboard. It feels like typing with oven mitts on my hands!

Searched for a long time. There is no 'Open File' option. Open Recent not applicable. Sidebar not applicable. Toolbar no. Useless to edit existing filesystem files quickly. Still don't know how in your coder interface. WHy?

The best editor I have used on a phone. Supports all the major languages, can link directly to your git repos, I mainly do web dev and Python. I can use the editor easily to try ideas, and test/run them directly from the editor. I can mess around wirh ideas wherever I am from my phone! Really good app, well made, works fantastically. This is a very nice and simple editor for a beginner like me. A lot of other editors and IDEs have too many complicated features that I never use because I don't know how they work or what they do. In this editor I can run Javascript and HTML, not Python though. I must add, I have had some issues with html files created with Acode being scaled to small when opened with chrome; but this handy meta tag fixes it: .

Giving ppl the ability to choose wat to pay with no pay wall at all is a great move. 1 feature most if not all file editing/managing apps need now days since android 12 is the ability to request access to data files/folders. I.E. android/data. Being able to request access to these types of folders would make this app a 5/5.

really enjoyed this app. At first, I thought it was going to be lacking in lots of areas coz it's a phone app, but it was better than expected. Overall, it's a great app. I'd recommend it for anyone

I love the app and also how it can Insert the HRX code for colours but thairs one problem that this is a 3 and not a 5 star , it won't let you test the code out when this is added I will easily change it to a 5 star.

Lacks git push pull commit and change tracker for files (Display uncommited changes). Lacks find in workspace folder function.

Best text editor on the Play Store. Is FOSS, has no ads, has all popular text editor themes pre-installed (including my favourite Dracula) and supports all languages I write in. Perfect. One suggestion though: I would really like a custom font option because the app currently only has "default" and Firs Code as font options, I would like to use my own fonts.

Doesn't support all the functionalities of SwiftKey keyboard. When you press the 123 button in order to access the second interface of the keyboard, it (keyboard) disappears instantly. Please look into it. Otherwise, it's a very nice app.

If you are going to change something, please make it so that people would not have their settings suddenly changed (or give an in app news update on what changed). Many people choose auto-update app and these people would freak out. I am one of the minority that still chooses to use text shortcut setting to code and disabling the setting for the keyboard suggestion without warning made me freakout.

File browser has no folder structure to browse, text/log files shared from other apps don't open (no errors, just an empty 'untitled.txt' file). A file editor that can't open files? Newly installed. Developer feedback "Please remove that folder and add directory again using add path option"- found can't add root drive folders, but can add newly created. Half ok? Still won't open shared txt files.
