Cogismo Logic Puzzles have just three simple rules, but these rules interact in a way that generates thousands of challenging games for your brain. There is no luck in a Cogismo puzzle game. To solve it requires logical thinking and planning ahead. It is a bit like a Rubik’s Cube and a Sudoku combined into one.
How many Cogismo puzzle games are there?

The Cogismo Logic Puzzle app comes with 272 puzzle games pre-installed. Once you have down loaded the app, you could solve all 272 free games without wifi. There are five difficulty levels. After a little practice you will be solving the easier brain teasers in under a minute. At the harder difficulty levels Cogismo has some very challenging games. Some haven’t yet been solved! Cogismo is challenging, but we hope that you will also find it to be a fun and addictive game.

Who might like it?

Cogismo is aimed at people who are looking for free puzzle games, brain teasers, logic games or any type of games for the brain. It was developed as a puzzle for adults, but kids aged 10 years and over seem to have no problems with it.

Can I share Cogismo brain teasers with my friends?

Both Android and iPhone versions of the Cogismo Logic Puzzle app are available, and you can email the brain teaser that you are currently working on (or have just solved) to a friend.

How does it work?

The easiest way to learn is just to try it. You will work it out in a minute or two. But if you do want to see the rules, here they are :

Each Cogismo logic game is made up of nine cogs laid out in a 3X3 grid. When you tap on a cog, that cog will rotate 90 degrees clockwise and the value it is displaying will be increased by one. When a cog with a value of nine is tapped on, its value becomes zero.

The cogs have teeth protruding from the side. When a tooth on a rotating cog collides with a tooth on a stationary cog then the stationary cog will behave as if you had tapped on it (it will rotate 90 degrees and its value will be increased by one).

The logic game is solved when all nine cogs display the value zero.

What options are available within the app?

There are English language in-app help screens and an optional tutorial that takes about two minutes to complete. There are also tips for solving difficulty level 1 to 3 logic games within the app and on the Cogismo website.

You can change the speed at which the cogs rotate.

You can change the color scheme.

You can select your own username. You can have up to five usernames on one device (in case you need a family game to share).

There is the option to store all of your results on the internet (so that you can look back later and see how much you’ve improved).

Am I going to get bombarded with ads?

The Cogismo Logic Puzzles app is an ads free game, but there are ads on the Cogismo website. Cogismo has no ads unless you choose to visit the website.

What are the in-app purchases?

If you make a mistake and want to use the Undo button to “take back a move” then there is a small charge for this. In every other way Cogismo is a free puzzle game.
