This has been a great resource and very thankful for all the research and hard work that has gone into this! I have 2 small problems: The mandala exercise is very glitchy. It will start and then goes into a blinking frenzy and will not respond or advance forward. // Please advise. Second issue is with the directions connected to the 3D box exercise; they are not clear & understandable for the task. (The one that you have to move the cube in alignment with the shapes on the "walls & floor")
Massive variety of cognitive training games that are fun to play. Really enjoy the fact that it shows how much your brain is progressing after each session. Great app!
I really enjoy the app, I use it twice everyday to keep my brain in shape! One bad thing is that some games are too intense for my phone though (and because of that I can't fully play those games)
To many cartoon games! I purchased the app and can appreciate how much work has gone into creating it. The games are like Candy Crush. "Elevate" brain training works very well for my learning style. Actual memory tasks to help you remember names, faces, & vocations. Leaning new words, synonyms, brain mapping, etc, and 1/2 the cost. Cgnifit does have excellent cust. service. If there are other training exercises less cartoon like, they'r too difficult to find. Used for 1 month, no refund ofrd
The free cognitive training is good, however... the prices for the more advanced testing is a bit high. You can see a neurologist and have these tests performed and billed to your insurance.
"Initial asssessment" is free, but you can't do anything after that without spending at least $49!!! could be great help if you want to throw $$$$$
My first time playing out so far the games require attention to detail and require focus. Enjoying playing this!
Definitely keeps your mind working! But the tutorial on some games should be a bit more detailed.
The app is good, but not all the games bring the same experience for phone as for PC. Some games are optimised for touch screen and some for mouse.
Great app, love the games, but frustrating how much the additional assessments are.
I love the app, it's really helping me recover from a brain injury. I hate the glitchiness on my tablet. Occasionally, I have to uninstall and reinstall if the app closes incorrectly (but no failsafe for it yet. ) Then assessments accurately reflect the areas that need to improve. Update: So, as usual, once i report a bug, i don't see it again! I'll send you the details next time (if) it happens. Update 7/25: They were very responsive when I contacted them. It was a cache problem.
Trained Skills doesn't seem to reflect what skills are being affected by the end of the training. Everytime I try to check out a training and click the X to look for another, I end up on the Stats tab, rather than going back to where I were (Train). It is inconvenient. Lastly I think it is in poor taste that even though I pay for a fairly expensive monthly subscription, I have to pay for individual assesments (one time use) that are WAY too expensive.
So far it's really good I'm currently using the 14 day free trail all access to be able to use the personalized training specific to your needs following the full cognitive assessment (which can be accessed fully for free which previously I hadn't discovered) which for myself has been amazingly accurate based on my own opinion of my strengths and weaknesses. I've printed out the results which are played out and presented very professionally. Great app and so far very beneficial. Will reccomend!
First of all I must say that the app itself is very good. The training is well created, covers all aspects of cognitive needs. Well done! But what I specially need to say is that the support is magnificent. I was having some problems regarding the year plan and discount code. Not only the support was so patient and understanding, they approached to the issue with care! Thank you so so much for that! Great app, great team behind it!
It's great that I can play games for free by just watching the ads!
The App seems fairly interesting and fun, however, I can only play for 4 min at a time because I constantly get the "installing games and tasks" notification. The games don't seem to wanna install in the background meaning I end up waiting and losing interest. This is only for the 4 free minigames as the rest are via paid subscription, which I assume means much more of the same.. I'd rather just download all once then have to be told after trying to do assessments that I have to wait again.
Great for improving memory, but wished there were a few more options if you can't pay for the yearly subscription. I'm poor. Lol
This application is really great.😀👍 ... I seem to be making some headway with my cognitive skills... and hopefully its playing out in real world situations. It takes a little bit of figuring out , but if you follow the menu items at the top you'll find there's more to it than you originally thought. It helps if you have a full membership. :-)
While the visuals are nice, the functionality is not there. Boxes with directions cover the training area forcing you to miss. If you try to clear the box, you will also touch a play button under it also forcing you to miss. I think this is better designed for a desktop.
'Awesome work'. Very elaborative research, i found my results to be very informative and very much accurate too. However, i found hand-eye coordination exercises could be improved for low end devices as the device lags it becomes hard to get the cursor responsive. Update: all of my tests relating to coordination and reflex showed bad results because of the device. I performed same tests on high end devices, there was drastic difference. Hope you are working on this!
Just Excellent! Seriously. Try it. My small one uses everyday, have actually diagnosed him via this. Could not put my finger on what his issue was but knew it was not something regular. Just from their tools on their site I have been able to pin point it down to a particular part of a visual processing disorder. It was visual sequencing and spatial issues. Not memory issue/social issue/or dyscalculia which I what school told me. Using cognifit to strengthen these skills. Thanks for empowerment!
Great app. The analysis is to deep. The only issue I have is with the Hand-eye coordination game where I'm supposed to move the cursor with the dot. The cursor hangs for no reason and it's just stuck and won't let me move it. Can't I move my finger with the ball as opposed to a virtual cursor?
Unless you're planning on spending $19.99/mo don't waste your time downloading it. The majority of the games are paid and the quality of the free ones are really bad. The devs didn't even bother proofreading the instructions (see game where you tap 1st letter of pic shown.) There are much higher quality brain training apps out there.
It is the price quality ratio which gets 1 star otherwise good enough
Only 3 games without subscription. Just started using app, looking forward to seeing what challenges are included. I'm a fan of Luminosity, also only 3 games - time on both these apps are too short and the ads are way too long unfortunately. I've installed many brain training apps on my mobile and so far all except 1 have been deleted failing to hold my interest and becoming monotonous, so, it's going to be interesting to see how engaging CogniFitwill be - will it be discarded like many others?
