The cognitive diary helps you to determine some ways to challenge the irrational thinking. Once you have done that, it is important to read the rational challenges frequently until they automatically come to mind rather than the irrational thinking.

The app provides a simple way of doing this by reviewing the history of your recorded events.

Also includes password protection and editing of your previous responses.

Real CBT; no BS. It' not pretty and the UI is clunky but easy to learn. This app is the only one I have found that actually takes you through the legit CBT process just like a therapist would during a session. It's a tool, not a toy. For me an it takes 30 min to complete an entry. It makes you work. If you're looking for a quick, cute app this is not for you; if you are actually looking to work through your issues, then you will find the results out weigh the app's UI and visual design.

I like this app but there's 2 features that bother me. 1. When I enter a rating on the mood diary, i.e., when I'm rating how happy I am (the bottom heading) the pop-up messages immediately take me back to the top so I cannot see if my rating got entered correctly. 2. I don't feel having graphs to show one's history of each individual emotion is helpful. I think having a graph that shows what all of emotions were ranked at for a week+ would be more useful.

App has articles and audio clips that help you better understand unhealthy thought patterns and how to overcome them, there is a customizable daily checklist of healthy activities you can do, tests to better understand yourself, etc. Super helpful. Highly recommend. The ads aren't bad either. If you choose watch an ad, you get rewarded with time where there are no ads.

Intrusive points. I was talking about the app and how I really wanted to like it and how it was exactly what I was looking for. I was asked if it had intrusive ads, I said no it has intrusive points. At one point the app was so busy rewarding points that you could not do anything in the app and I ended up putting my phone down and walking away. It's one thing to reward someone 10,000 points for accomplishing the enrollment process, but why in 1, 5, or 10 pt segments.

The app, in concept, is great. It allows for autonomous CBT by way of taking memos in various categories and being reminded of them from time to time, e.g. you can write thoughts that challenge your own paradigms in the "challenges" category so that you can change your own perceptions and thought patterns over time. The inspirational messages are a nice touch. The main gripe I have is the user interface. Its cluttered, dull, hard to navigate, and makes the app look 20 years old. Verdict:3/5

I recently came across this and I find it enjoyable and helpful. I'm not sure how I feel about the points yet, but it seems like a cool idea. I like that it has tests, organized set ups for different types of diary logs. It also gives you ideas and helpful tips. It makes it easier to decide how you're feeling and gauge how strongly you're feeling it. Lots of options and articles, and more! This is pretty cool, I'll be telling people about this app.

I absolutely LUV this app because it also offers more apps so a person can follow through with "learning"/changing /understanding their behaviors...I tell my clinical team(they have continuelly changed through out my years)"I have been crazy for over 100 years and probably several lifetimes..I am old and tired now.. I would just like to ignore my past and die gracefully"...My point?!..."I'm not..because I don't know "Me" and "Why Me" happenned..I sure wish I had come across this app 20+ ago

A bit surprised to hear this just got overhauled, a professional UX designer is sorely needed. Tools aren't bad, but it's very crowded and visually noisy, and prepopulated with possibly irrelevant bits and pieces in a way that will be difficult for the target audience to contend with.

I've been using this app for more than three years and I've seen a lot of significant improvements in terms of design layout and features. I'm still pleased with it. 😊 Overall a good and simple app to help you understand and do CBT.

I'm sure it's great, certainly seemed to be in depth. My own personal experience was that it was really quite difficult to get it to work. Only managed to complete one actual entry and immediately lost the results so I couldn't compare them. Tried to get back to where I was and couldn't find the same menu again.

This app is great it covers multiple aspects unlike others, offers extensive understanding of behaviours,thinking etc Excellent analysis system to help recognise patterns etc. Actually developed to help you and not just part you from your cash. Completely free ok it has a small ad banner at the bottom but can be removed for a week at a time by watching a short ad and I mean short.

Good app, if a bit simple. The point system would stimulate the reward system if they weren't so randomly assigned. This app should feature a function for putting positive affirmations on your lock screen and elsewhere. Positive reinforcement is probably more powerful if you have the option to use it passively

Excellent app! If you already have a basic understanding of CBT techniques, this app helps them grow. Very easy to understand, step-by-step instructions on how to use each aspect of the app. Helpful for self reflection and stopping negative thought patterns.

I have been using this for a few days and I find it a wonderful and useful tool for remaining positive and reassesing my moods, thoughts and actions. Contains a cognitive journal, an inspiration journal (I wish this followed the format of a gratitude journal) mood tracker and lots of articles to help you move forward. Highly recommended. :)

I like this app a lot. But I wish it had an option to add photos to your daily cognitive diary. Also, it would be nice to be able to see a compiled view of each day without several separate entries each day

Kept getting a popup literally every two seconds to see an add. Couldn't even read my results. Thought if I hit yes it would stop but no add showed up and it still did it. Made my anxiety worse. Going to uninstall. Sadly it had promise if this bug didn't happen.

so this may not be the slickest app on the store but it certainly is useful..the technique it presents has definite results in altering your perspective on whatever you are anxious or upset about. I have used this app many times and have found it useful in reversing my negative mood.

Having used CBT via my GP I was looking for an app that could replicate the online portal which I only have access to via the NHS for the next 6 months. I downloaded a handful of apps for this purpose. This app was by far the best one for breaking down and challenging thoughts. I even think it does so more helpfully than what I'm currently using as it has plentiful suggestions for challenging thoughts. Those insightful suggestions are what is missing from other apps. Well done guys!

This app has become such a helpful tool in my daily struggles. The developer has done such a kind thing in making this app and it's content completely free. Similar apps don't even come close to the information provided in this app, and they require monthly subscriptions. I've seen some asking $20/month. That is abhorrent. Many thanks to this developer. If you are struggling with mental illness you will find this app to be a blessing.

I'm liking this app so far specially the point system, I'm not sure what they can be used for? It would be great if you could use them2unlock themes, stickers or mini games. I've downloaded&deleted apps like this in 5mins, not this one, I really like that it doesn't press me2use it, when&how I use this app are fully my choice, no pressure in any way from it, it'd be awesome if it had a weekly or monthly planner. It's good that CBT is being recognized, but I have to wonder if the any of the developers of the app truly understand it. Some of the terms they use aren't from the sufferers perspective, but of societies insensitivities, and instead of feeling understood, I feel "less-than" while trying to feel better about me. Gonna try to push past my own offenses to continue my personal journey, but...I'm questioning if this is the right approach for me.

I found this app confusing. Each page looks the same, i couldn't differentiate between the different diaries. Also, the tutorial and the real thing are not the same. Going to find another app.
