I've been pretty frustrated with this app. It is very hard to pair. I have a lot of questions that I can't find answers to within the app and I haven't been able to locate a company email or phone number. I feel like it could be good if I could just get it fully working. Another reviewer mentioned sound indicators for breathing so that you don't have to have your eyes open. That would be god but... where is that option in the app. Too hard to find stuff.
App is the best value and design for the money that I've seen. Love the option to set audio breathing cues. To work around the bugs others noted around saving sessions, (1) manually give permission to access storage in your phone settings (app doesn't prompt), (2) leave a note for each session (otherwise it doesn't save), and (3) don't care that it doesn't seem to graph the most recent session (it's always one behind). If the developer fixes these glitches the app would be flawless for me.
Recent updates to the app have resolved the Bluetooth connection issues that showed up with Android 10. However, now the app seems to have lost its ability to log completed sessions. Other minor issues (breathing sound playback stops when the phone is locked etc.) still persist. All in all, this app falls just shy of meeting my expectations, forcing me to consider other alternatives (Inner Balance / HeartMath).
It doesn't save any data from your sessions like it's supposed to so you can't see your average heart rate or average coherence over time. Why are they still charging $10 for an app that clearly doesn't work based on all the reviews? I will continue using it because it did connect to my device and I can run a session, but not happy that I paid for something and can't use two of the key features.
This is a great tool, unfortunately on my Note 8 and also on my previous S8+, the app just crashes after about 5 minutes or less. Is there any plan to support these devices? I see there hasn't been a release for over a year, would be great to at least support some of the flagship devices.
this app is continuously failing, this is not acceptable. if you can't fix it then give me my money back, hello Oliver i have already provided you details on the errors to you on email. i am waiting for the fix now from developer., i am still facing issues with this app even on new mobile too
- App keeps stopping, low value for money. - Breathing Pacer is very limited in options and not easy to configure exactly. + App connects Well with kyto hrm device.
Tiny text is unreadable on my phone and Google won't give me a refund. I'm waiting to hear from the developer about a refund.
Too small font and can not select other breath sound without: (app shuts down)!! * Therefore too expensive!
Could not connect Garmin HRM. Connection with fit bit charge 2 unstable to point that I could not test the app.
Since last update Android version doesn't work anymore on Huawei P20. 2 mails sent. No reaction.
Very interesting but does not recognise my galaxy 4 watch and the oura ring.
The app worked the first breathing session I used it, after that it was unable to connect to my device.
Tiny, grayed out font is hard for me to read.
requires registration! not an option for me. had to refund my payment.
The connection is bad. I can't use it at all!.
Font too small and it didn't pair with my device. Lg G6 smartphone Ccgtoy kyto mobile hrv ear clip only model
Very good app. I like it. My favourate app
Love it!
I got the idea of CHT by reading Dr Alan's book "Coherence The secret science of brilliant leadership" and watching his Ted Talk. The technique has been effective on improving my level of energy and mental clarity. The app is working perfectly fine with my Polar H7. And I've tested the app on my Galaxy S iv and Samsung Note 8 tablet with no problem.
Although the idea of coherence is wonderful, BUT My devises looses connection almost during every session and does not connect again without restarting, and app also halts. I think device BT is of poor quality. Also, app is not synced with mobile display. Like some breathe apps don't allow display to turn off untill app is closed, but unfortunately this is not the case here.
Forced to use this as there are no good alternatives. I've used this every day for 6 months and I notice huge health benefits as I'm recovering from stress. Sadly, the user experience in this app is the worst. Who designed the interface? It's a joke with its small texts and strange layout. It also keeps crashing randomly. Session data isn't saved unless you type something on the notes and click the home icon. They take a lot of money from this garbage and don't develop it.
