CoinGecko - Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Tracker

It is a helpful app with lots of good data and information but it is slow to navigate. Also the price alert function isn't the best. If I set my alert to be a recurring event, after selecting save the option reverts to single making it uncertain if the correct option has been used. Also can't edit price alerts; I make a change and save it. But my alerts list still shows the old price even after refreshing. I have to constantly delete an alert and recreate. Quite frustrating.

the connection to the servers has been spotty at best as of late. ever since it was hacked a week ago. Everything else about it gets five stars except its connection to the servers and it's delayed timing from what the price currently is to what it was say five minutes ago. But I do like coingecko I use it despite its flaws. So if it wasn't for the servers and the time lapse it would have four-and-a-half to five stars easy

I rarely comment or rate application interfaces! With that being said. The interface is very easy to navigate! Great use of icons! The only thing that is missing from getting a better immersed experience, is the lack of a more dynamic charting system! I'm pretty sure there is a tech visualization vendor/company out there, where they could provide a better understanding of trend analysis, with better visualization, and dynamics! Other than that - Great 👍🏿 application! Very informative 👏🏿!

I really enjoy being able to have all my crypto investments in one place with live updates as well as how easy it is to add to it as I purchase more. I also like that I can put in my purchase price instead of it automatically putting in the current price and not being able to change it. The only reason I put it at 4 stars over 5 is there have been several times I've tried to check my portfolio and it display a message of "cannot fetch data". Even with that small issue, I really like this app!

CoinGecko has gave me many opportunities to learn from its Crypto info materials, the candy system it's very curious, I like it, the interface it's clean, useful, not difficult to use. I don't like the portfolio manager, when I put data into it, suddenly it is erased or something.

I have read all the amazing reviews and look forward to using Coingecko in the future when it functions like it is suppose too. But as of right now, it deserves 1 star because it will not allow me to make a profile and it constantly crashes.. very frustrating. I have wasted my time with CoinGecko up until this point and it needs serious work. I will change this onestar reveiw when Iam able to use the app without issues. Thanks BTW. Iam coming from CoinStats and no longer use their sketchy app.

My experience with the app is kinda of annoying from the way it used to be. For instance before now you could place your hand on any place of the chart it tells the price index of previous hours but now, you see big numbers of what I don't understand, please try and fixed it am pleading.

Refusing to let me log in. Keeps saying to activate push notifications go to settings and reroute me over and over. Despite everything being enabled I still cannot log in EDIT 05/21/22: The issue seems to have resolved, I am able to login now. Thanks for fixing.

Notifications are not great as you will only get 1 at a time. E.g. if your phone is off and 4 notifications get triggered, you will only ever see 1 of them come through when you turn it back on. EVERY triggered notification should be shown (just like when I get multiple emails in any email app, it shows notification for all of em not just 1!). Also really needs a way to export a portfolio and all the trades in it, as people have been asking for years.

Good effort but needs some improvements. Text is too small and can't be resized, and it is not properly centered on widget. Also, coin price has no decimals.

Great app, soft wear is easy to understand. But most times y I have to reload the page, because the graph isn't corresponding. I also wish the notifications could be upgraded to automatic commands, if it's possible. In general, I feel it's a great app.

Overall excellent app! The only thing I would like to see is a better way to integrate transaction data to your portfolio. If you are only HODLing or occasionally buying then the current portfolio feature is more than adequate, but for anyone who is trading a bit more frequently entering those transactions becomes too much of a pain.

Complete index of virtually all coins tracked in real time. Contains thorough charts and information that is easily accessible, with links for further inquiry on each crypto... An extremely handy and free tool with just about everything you need all at ones fingertips. So very glad to have discovered CoinGecko!

I always have a horrible experience using the search function on this app, it's is so badly made its infuriating. Whenever you type something in, within 2 seconds it loads up a list of possible projects you're looking for. However, this list continues to refresh for no reason every few seconds and quite often will display completely different projects to what I'm looking for

My experience with this app is simply excellent!!. No issues. The interface is easy to use, the app launches easily and it is fast. If the characters and font face were made richer in color and darker, super excellent is next. Thanks team

Excellent app for crypto investors. But you need to make the app smooth,light and fast because sometimes it got crashed and run slow and take times to load the screen. Once you fix this problem this is the best app for crypto.

This app doesn't seem to be working properly. First, it does not show the accurate/current market rate and the price it indicates doesn't March the one on the website.. the gainers and losers are not showing up on the app. Infact, it needs a total overhauling.....try to rectify this issues and get my 5stars rating ASAP.

Great app, but the widgets for the real time (ish) prices often do not load when the phone is unlocked/woken up. I changed to trading view app and it works perfectly. Also I experienced the same problem with two different phones.

It does what it does. No problem since I started using it 7 months. It would be could if I can see my total initial investment. The total of course change based of the price of the coins.

I can use this App without any problem,is really clear when you use it and you have a UX very kind and the platform is not confused at all. The only thing is that you can't make your favorites crypto without make an account in the app

Not a bad App. But it does not tell the truth about all the coins market cap ratings. It tends to lie about HEX coin and not show it even though it is a top 10 coin. I find this lie a very misleading thing to do. It makes me wonder what else they are misleading us about, just because they do not make money out of HEX. But HEX is a great coin that has made A LOT OF MONEY, for a lot of people.

This app has been janky since I downloaded it. Mostly it says check again when you get internet service or something like that which the one I just downloaded has no problems so far. Plus it's really slow and lagging on the chance I do get on. I'll be deleting thank you

Easy to add all coins and transactions, capture costs at time of purchase including fees. Offers a comprehensive look at all your assets in one place. Very easy to navigate.

This was my go to app for crypto pieces but recently the lag and epic delays in loading have made me uninstall it. Terrible user experience. I have 1000m broadband at home and 5G outside... So it's no my service provider. Infact, coingecko was still stuck in as loading loop as write this comment.
