CoinOut - Cash Back Anywhere

This is a slow moving receipt app, but it does pay in the end. And if you do the extra offers, you can bank some extra money that way. It's not fetch that's for sure, but if you're scanning in on one app, may as well do both apps....or more if you have them. Overall, good app andpays to Paypal or my bank, just takes awhile to get there.

This app used to be great. I never used to have a problem with this app, but recently, within the past several weeks, many receipts show a TimeOut error. If I rescan, it may or may not error out again; sometimes, it accepts it; other times, it shows the same Timeout error. Knowing how well this app used to work, it's very frustrating now. I'm nearly to the point to uninstall it as it has become aggravating to use.

The idea is nice, and is somewhat similar to other apps. But, it refuses to connect to my Amazon account. I have been trying for 2 months with no success. It doesn't track email receipts very well; it seems to only accept email receipts within the first 10 days of each month, then stops adding them.

Cash out is taking MUCH longer than in the past, unfortunately, but hopefully they still pay out. Kind of frustrating. It also is having serious issues staying linked to my Walmart account. Some days it works but it seems most it doesn't anymore. :/ I'm not sure what is going on, but it does unfortunately seem like another app shutting down.

I get like 3 cents per receipt. It won't ever connect to Amazon or email it's always glitching and that's where most my purchases are from. I've had nothing but a hard time with this app. I've tried it over and over again. Fetch rewards is beyond better. U actually get money.

Constantly times out and WILL NOT allow me to upload receipts. Every time I try to snap a receipt, it spins, "times out", and stays over. I have signed out, refreshed, and updated, and nothing works. When, and this is maybe one every six months, it does decide to work, I get 1-2 cents per receipt. Minimum cash out of $20? Yeah, right. Waste of time.

This app worked for me for a very short time & I even connected my Amazon & Walmart accessories. That is until a few months ago when they both disconnected for no reason & still refuse to reconnect. All I get is "ERROR TIME OUT". Customer support was useless because they obviously can't read & told me to do exactly what I told them I have repeatedly been trying to do. This app has now pretty much become useless & more of an aggravation than it's worth!

I still have not been able to "Cash Out" even one single time although I have already submitted over 560+ receipts and connected my email, as well as my Amazon and Walmart accounts. I have been using CoinOut almost daily for about 6 months now. I have been able to redeem or "Cash Out" on all other similar receipt apps with less than half the number of submitted receipts, except this one. I will update my review soon accordingly.

This app is decent, and does it what says. Amounts given on receipts are completely random. Isn't convenient for long receipts as there's no add section option leaving some sections out. My only real complaint is the length of time you have to wait until you FINALLY recieve your giftcard via email. It takes well over two weeks. It honestly shouldn't take that long. All other receipt apps are much faster.

It is always asking me to reconnect my Amazon account and when I try, it's impossible. First invalid email wrong password. It is a huge headache. WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO RECONNECT. ONCE CONNECTED. ALWAYS CONNECTED, UNLESS I CHANGE PHONES, AND THATS ANOTHER HEADACHE.other than that ,great app if you can deal with all the problems

Most of the time the app works okay. I sometimes get the timeout problem that others have mentioned. The problem that bugs me is that it won't generate a password. It asks for the app name but doesn't let me enter it on the 'generate' page. 🤔

Yes you can scan receipts and they'll give you 03¢ to like 09¢ in your account. But I had selected direct deposit when I was ready to cash out, I never had gotten it and I have emailed customer support 4 times already and all with no responses!!!! DO NOT INSTALL, big waste of time!

Having trouble connecting email and entering app name and device for app password. I chose "other" as instructed. I type on the line and nothing will register. I've had someone else try to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. They can't do it either.

I love this app! You don't have to select items off of a grocery list. You can submit any receipt and get credit. CoinOut literally allows you the option to get paid through your bank or debit card.

This is a great app. I've been using it for a long time and it has come a long way. With every update, they've added new features and ways to earn money. It is very user friendly. It's not a get rich quick app, but just a way to earn a few dollars on the side... like maybe save up and cash out once a year at Christmas or birthday or something. Bottom line, it is 100% legit, I've been using it for years now and have enjoyed growing with it!

Did not finish setup because upon install they specifically ask for the password into my email address when trying to setup an account with them. Why would they need the password to get into my email?!?? I have most of my personal information saved in my Google. I do not trust another entity asking for access into my Google account. Sorry, no thanks.

To be fair I'm still very new to using app. It is easy but the rate at which you earn is slower than others I use. Biggest complaints is 1) there's only one gift card available and to withdraw to your bank account yyou have to have an account compatible with Zelle. I literally tried my 2 actual bank accounts and 3 or 4 debit cards. None worked.

Soo sad and disappointed! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this app! They really paid, and they paid well! Then stupid me updated the dang app, and now it is extremely hard to even earn the $20 so I can cash out. I updated it though because I couldn't complete anymore offers. I did all the ones I could, the rest I already had an acct. with. Anyway with this latest update I got excited because they mentioned adding more perks and ways to get money. But surprise, it's b.s. so far at least :'(

I downloaded the app and been trying to sign on with it for 2 days and haven't received a code just so I can sign into the app and create an account. There's not even a spot to create an account, it just says a code will be texted to my phone when I push the sign in button. I've been waiting for the code for 2 days now, but it hasn't been sent. I'm uninstalling the app and stick with fetch rewards, I've earned 4 $10 gift cards in 6 months on that app

I use it almost every day. The amount received for each receipt is random, sometimes only .02, sometimes double digits, but they do add up. Not the best money-for-receipts app, but worth the effort.

I keep getting a timeout message after updating to newest version. It was good at first but now mostly timeout errors. If this doesn't get fixed I will not be recommending this app to friends and family.

This app worked great when I first downloaded it. Ever since the update on May 10th, I keep getting a timeout error when I scan a receipt. I also can't load any of the receipts i have already scanned. Tempting to uninstall it already.

Its a legit app. Basically you scan your reciepts and you get a random ammount for each receipt scanned. Ive gotten between 3 cents and 13 cents per reciept. Its a slow process but its simple and adds up. Ive cashed out twice. 1st time was $3 just to see if it worked. Tjen I cashed out for $8. Each time it took a few days and both I had deposited into my bank account.

Downloaded the app, it couldn't even get passed adding my email address, as it wouldn't add it. Read good reviews about this app online but to continually try to add an email account over and over again(?!) I tried 5 times. Deleted the app!

Worst camera quality of any app ever made. Constantly blurry, no option to focus the image, you must close and reopen the camera just to focus it and even then it won't focus 99% of the time. Trash app needs major improvements. Not worth the aggravation to use for the 2 pennies it gives you per receipt.

This is without question the worst and sketchiest app ive ever used. After wasting 2 hrs correcting "errors" such as saying i havent purchased the app yet, i ignore one red alarm after another because i want this to work since ive already made the mistake of inputing my phone number rather than being safe and using a burner. Now it wants not only my email but the PASSWORD 2 IT?! NO. that is absolutely not happening. Update. Got it to work but upon cashing out, my acct gets blocked. Total scam.

I love this app! Easy payouts, right to my bank account. I set up the transfer of the $50.00 I earned in Coin Out to be deposited directly into my bank less than 24 hours ago. I was very skeptical; doubted I'd actually get the money. But less than 24 hours later the deposit went through! My only complaint is minor technical issues with the app, being unable to submit multiple pictures for long receipts, and downloading online orders takes awhile. Thanks Coin Out!

For the most part I like it, but I never get my online account bonus it always takes forever to connect to all three accounts and then eventually fails. I can connect one at a time, but then I don't get the bonus

When I first started using this, it said that you could redeem your coins at any amount. Apparently it's changed since then and I found out the hard way, by trying to redeem less than $20. I'm extremely frustrated with this change and don't see why it had to happen, I could really use my coins right now and after all the time I put into verifying everything to do so, I feel like I've wasted it. Since the amount of coins you get has dropped considerably, it's going to take forever to get to $20
