Great for buying crypto on a regular basis from extra roundups. Not great for timing the market, this is a buy and hodl app. Also the in app rewards are troublesome, as the app doesn't load sites such as amazon correctly. won't let you scroll through, you try to scrool doen and it pops back up. This needs to be redesigned to allow you to use the native apps for the companies they are rewarding you for shopping with. its annoying to have to reenter passwords as well.
Don't use if you have Capital One Bank. Round ups won't work. When using My card linked to Coinseed my transactions don't show up under round ups. When I first joined I had to keep relinking my card info for my round ups to show up. Now when I relink nothing shows up. I like the app but its pointless if the round up part doesnt work. I hope they fix this issue. Also It would be nice if they told you on there website Capital One Bank won't work with there systems
I am disappointed that I cannot actually withdraw my cryptos to store them offline. Are there any future plans to allow this? The FAQ explanation claims it is more secure to sell all to USD for withdrawal, but I prefer freedom over security! The app and UI are wonderful and works great with my bank card. I also really like the designer portfolio feature.
Not sure if it's just me, but the Android app is awful. I added my bank and get to a screen saying "Close this window!" I relaunch the app and it's taking me to the "Choose a bank" form by default, putting me in an endless loop of the same forms.
Great app not many others like it so its rather unique. Wish the crypto bought with the change was able to be kept and not sold at the withdrawing point. Doesn't round up change immediately, waits until $5 dollars are rounded up then invests. Greater transparency and simplicity would significantly help this app grow.
love it. it's obviously a labor of love by the devs. plus half of all fees get redistributed to all the owners of Coinseed's token. Meaning normal people are benefiting from the fees, not just the "owners". everything works. 99% of the time, I've had some weird errors connecting my card, but nothing major at all, everything kept working, just had to log out and back in. this wasn't made by vulture capitalists with oodles of money to make it look shiny, it was made to do what we want it to. ☮
SCAM!! I bought enough Seed to make the app free and when I decided to"unlock it", they took all of the money I spent on it which was like 50 or 60 bucks. They DONOT pay you for shopping. I shopped over months ago and they haven't given me anything. I contacted customer service a few months ago and they never responded. Now they won't let me withdraw without front and back of my license, a bank statement, and a selfie. They were quick enough to take my money without all that. Check BBB score.
A bit clunky to link up banking info to account for starters, otherwise a nice execution on a nice idea. Ultimately however, they do NOT offer wallet withdrawals from any crypto you invest in. You can only withdraw via dollars. While they note this is for security purposes, this detail may be the deal breaker for me. Denying wallet addresses for transfers may ultimately be holding back this service from reaching more crypto users in this space. Same reason why I don't do crypto on Robinhood
Great investment app. It's just a shame can't deposit or withdraw from my bank in the UK yet. Would like to setup recurring payments. Also cant find the link for referrals.
Okay.. I have been waiting about a month now for ID verification to be completed. Customer service is basically non-existent and I cant even sell my assets, been trying for a week. Just keeps saying an error message and to contact customer support. This is an app I once really enjoyed using and was excited about, but now it is really just f$%king me over and becoming a very unreputable platform. Wouldnt be surprised if the creators are just scamming people.
the bugs need to be worked out. the previous complaint is still relevant in 2021 too many bugs and it's hard to get money out and close account. No number for support contact. And the worst I had about 400 dollars in there and then it was gone! The company acts like a foreign entity full of scam artists.
I started with coinseed in 2018. Initially it worked fine. Then I began having bank linking issues. I'd re-add my bank & it would keep unlinking somehow. After a while, I also noticed that every few weeks when I'd check my account, large chunks of my crypto would be gone. Initally, I invested 1200.00. I've reached out to coinseed many times to no avail. what's worse, now I can't even access my account/funds. When I enter my email to login I get a no record of this email reply. Beware!!!!!!
THIEVES. I requested withdrawal of my funds almost 30 days ago. Coinseed is flat out refusing to deposit funds into my bank account because I have had failed deposits to coinseed in the past. I have sent them proof that the account is open and able to accept deposits. They are now ignoring my emails. This is at a time when I desperately need every penny, and these people are playing games and are in clear violation of the law.
My account was locked and it's since been 2 months since I opened a ticket (and have opened multiple) to have this resolved. In those 2 months I've gotten exactly ZERO responses to help me with my account. Doesn't seem like they care about their users so I'd pass on this app.
Withdrawal is impossible. Need to verify micro deposits to verify bank account but micro deposits never arrived! Now im getting no response back from the team at all! Do not use this app. I'm to the point of filing a complaint with regulators! ridiculous!
It sounded good but your better off just buying and putting away yourself bc when you want to withdraw, who knows when you will actually get your money. It's been over 12 days and I still haven't received my money and my coinseed account shows $0 dollars. They make you verify your account for no reason. Also when I turned off automatic deposit it still withdrew funds from my bank causing it to over withdrawal my account costing me money
App crashes upon launching. I have emailed support and waiting for a reply. If I am satisfied after the reply, then I will change the rating. Update: the issue was resolved quickly. Thanks!!
Decent app. Could have better organization, but there's a lot of crypto to invest in. I don't think you can directly withdraw your crypto to a wallet (which would be a good feature), but I appreciate the concept. However, it would be a shame if there was an exit scam and my crypto got lost.
Absolutely garbage! Really cool idea, simmaler to acorns or stash but the app never worked. It never rounded up any of my money all it did was charge me $1 be being a customer now I am unable to link it from my bank account. So who knows what will happen at this point. Also no customer service what's so ever. I would not recommend this app to anyone.
The money in my account magically it disappeared a few days ago. I have been contacting support without any response. Considering taking legal action as well, this is ridiculous. DON'T USE THIS APP!!!!!
Unfortunately, they're trying to do too much with this app, and the user experience suffers as a result. It's difficult to navigate and understand. The idea is great, and hopefully they can improve their focus in the future.
They are the worst at withdrawing your money that YOU invested in. I closed my one bank account because it was compromised opened a new account at another institution, confirmed THEIR deposit, yet they are still not sending my money for 90 days. Your better off investing on another site to save the headache & aggravation of getting your money. BullS#%$& site in my opinion. 🤌🏼
The new update on 5/4/19 crashed the app, it was working fine before the update. Please fix asap! Before this bad update, I would have rated this app a 5 star. I was starting to spread news of Coinseed to my friends and relatives, talking them into signing up, however if this update glitch isn't resolved soon I will stop recommending this app. Update: tech support replied back to me on 5/5/19 with new update, tried it out - working fine as before, thanks for the fast turn around!
$250 limit on how much u can withdraw per day, and right now it's buggy, some of the symbols are in Chinese? Is there anyone even working on fixing it? It's been days. Also there's a problem with actually withdrawing and y'all won't reply.
I can not believe it! I had over 5k built up over a year and I check my account and I have a few hundred in there. Tried contacting support multiple times and no response. I am extremely pissed 😡
For the most part it does work. But somehow using my linked card on my linked bank account on the apps amazon portal somehow makes it unable to confirm my purchases. I never got *any* cash back on *any* purchase i made. Pass.
Account locked, can't withdraw or sell, and suddenly all my assets got sold without me doing anything it bought doge at 35cents and now it's losing previous gains. I'm removing my credit cards and bank link to this app, it looks like they are gonna exit scam.
They dont tell you until after you sign up about a monthly fee and there are other hidden fees as well, plus it takes out of your bank account even when you dont give permission for it to be able to i.e. takes out money not for fees or when you move money to the account it's like acorns avoid this scam
It's a good ap, trading fees are reasonable. The only reason I am not rating 5 stars is because in the state of Texas you can't use the locked savings or other savings features which I am really bummed about.
App has potential. one thing I dont see that I wish you can do is move your coins to a different wallet. also I received an email saying I had a payment decline which was not on my end and without explanation they threatened to charge me if it ever happened again. watch out with this app. It picks and chooses what roundups to give you. I know for a fact I am not receiving all my roundups from purchases. it's pretty sketchy in my opinion.
