Tried to order a custom cake and the interface is terrible. It barely responds to trying to scroll down to the options. It doesn't recognize the inputs as valid so there are big red warnings that options weren't selected even when they are and it asks when you want the pickup to occur at the beginning of the order then doesn't transfer that information through to checkout so it shows up wrong and has to be resubmitted. I will be deleting after this pickup and will not use again.

Update 4/28: got an email about the app being re-launched, but same issues. Still can't submit an address. 🙄 Regularly gives me "free delivery weekend" notifications, but I cannot order delivery through the app; once an address is entered, the only option that works is "back" and it defaults back to pick-up. Super agitating!

Never wrote a review before but I had to for this app. Awful, awful interface and riddled with bugs. Tried to make a purchase but was stopped because, and get this, my name had an apostrophe. It's funny because on the actual website, I can make purchases with no issues. So I tried to change my name but the app doesn't recognized that I pressed the update button. Now, my app refuse to open and keeps crashing. Never using this app again, imma just use the actual website...

The app keeps crashing, does not allow its user to scroll down, and will not allow you to have access to your rewards. Additionally, the app does not allow people with an apostrophe in their name to order but, the app does not register when you attempt to remove the apostrophe or change your name. Do not download this app.

I can't log in, even after resetting my password. Then on the payment page, it won't allow me to use phone saved cards and forces me to enter all of the information. The screen also has no scroll out resize making it impossible to see what I'm entering. I'm VERY disappointed with the app!!!!

This app is broken through and through. Scrolling up or down doesn't work after selecting a menu item. Selecting a different ice cream flavor from a standard Creation isn't available for an option. There are too issues to even attempt trying to pay. I wouldn't trust my credit card information (and now my business) with an app that is VERY much broken

I find the app to be useless. At least the Baskin-Robbins app works correctly. Once past the first order screen none of the selection menus will scroll off their initial screen options, making it impossible to order anything not already on the screen.

I received an email for free weekend delivery and it has to be through the Cold Stone app. So I placed my order as a delivery doing a reorder from March.. and it went through as a pickup instead... I called the store and the young lady said that they aren't doing deliveries and I have to use a service like Grubhub. Well if I do that I don't get free delivery. I had her cancel my order. Laurel was very nice but as a company you shouldn't advertise something you won't do. Very disappointed!

I had issues with the app not letting me place an order, or splitting payments. Coldstone gave me a credit and now I can't use it because the app won't let me place an order! Very frustrating.

Worst app ever!! It's 2022, don't let a 5 year old design your app! You are a professional company. Why is this app ALWAYS broken!? If it's not the login, it's the constant crashing or inability to place an order. I have no issues with any other app except this one-- I am the online order person in my family and know what I'm doing. But. This. App. Is. Always. Broken.

The app keeps crashing EVERYTIME I open it.... And when it does open, I can scroll up or it says (after creating an order) cannot complete order and closes....

Awful experience. Unable to even order anything. Can't scroll when selecting an item and some items simply give you the option for cones and bowls but only option is sprinkled cone.

five steps backwards on this app. There's no way to find an easy change in delivery versus pickup. If you switch from delivery to pick up and vice versa, it deletes the order.. WHY?? and why is the Area to give special instructions MIA? Seeing that I can't call to place orders I would assume I would be able to have that to change a mix in our take out a mix in. Very infuriating update.

This app does not work at all. Every time I try to add item to cart it just gives an error with no detail. I miss the old layout that actually worked.

This app is appalling. I figured some of the one star reviews were exaggerated, but they definitely aren't. I can't even get the app to stop crashing long enough to log into my account.

I tap the app it opens for a couple seconds then closes. I can't get it past that point. Not a happy ice cream addicted person right now.

App wouldn't let me order, uninstalled, reinstalled, finally let me add items to my cart, and then when it came to add my CC, tells me invalid CC. Tried 2 different CC's that are definitely valid, still error message. There are so many other problems with this app, I don't have enough time to describe them all. Coldstone should get a refund from whoever they paid to build this app, it is useless.

Many things not working with the app. Unable to drag in the order menu unless you hit the exact right spot to begin with. Order history shows nothing. Rewards don't use automatically or ask if you want to use. Current order shows "in progress" even after I picked it up.

Aaahhh so many times i just GAVE UP using the app OR online ordering! Might as well give your business to a diff. company who actually cares to fix what all these people are complaining about! Here's another complaint...Why don't you add ALL your CREATIONS for us to choose from? I have been wasting over 30 min trying to order the MUD PIE MOJO (largest container)& that's not on the online or app menu! I definitely don't want to pay extra to "create my own" when you already have it as a "creation"

App doesn't work. Won't save my address for delivery, won't let me add stuff to my cart, always gives me an "error" message. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Can't get the free delivery deals because I can't order in-app. Coldstone, you need to get with another company for your app!

Very poorly made. Things get cut off because the app doesn't resize to screen size. Trying to order delivery is a nightmare as I can't even get the damn thing to load my address. This app leaves a lot to be desired and cold stone really should invest money in a better team to fix this mess up.

Looks nice, but unusable for me since you can't customize the creations by substituting ingredients anymore. My family has food allergies and have previously been able to substitute items in our order. The new version does not allow this. I can't use the app again unless this is fixed.

app said I had a BOGO offer but when I got to check out it wouldn't accept it, wasted 20 minutes trying to get it to work. don't have this problem with other restaurant apps.

This app needs work. I still ended up using the website instead of the app because I couldn't even scroll. It's even easier to order in-store.

to scroll you have to scroll on the words in the left middle part, should be just the full screen not such a specific spot.

does not let you use Google pay, fields get blocked by the keyboard when trying to put in information and you have to minimize keyboard to go to the next field, took 2 attempts putting in correct card info for it to let me submit my order, and another 2 attempts from there to check out

This app is stupid. It never allows for Creations to be ordered. They are always unavailable, so you have to remove them from your order or create your own by ordering it in a bigger size by entering what's in the creation. What's the point?

I placed an order and my bank card was charged, but the store never received my order. The employees were super confused because they themselves verified that I did select the right location.

Needs work! For some reason it refuses to scroll through the lists of available options? So I can only view a partial list if it's a long list.

I love Cold Stone ice cream, there really isn't anything that compares to the flavor and the variety of mix ins offered. It's simply the best!
