The Colgate Connect App is the key to unlocking the abilities of the Colgate Connect E1 toothbrush.
The app connects to your brush via Bluetooth to give you a precise, personalized brushing experience. The 4000 micro-sensors embedded in the toothbrush handle create a comprehensive map of your mouth—every time you brush you consult your app to see exactly where you brushed your teeth, and where you missed a spot. The app also provides instant brushing feedback, personalized data, coaching, oral care tips—and games!
On the app you will be able to use:
Mouth Map: See your mouth from the inside—get an accurate mapping of your mouth every time you brush! The advanced combination of sensors detect, in real time across 16 brushing zones, the exact position and orientation of the brush. You can go back in time and review each of your brushing sessions with our checkup screen
Coach Mode: Used in coach mode, the brush will detect where in your mouth you are, and prompt you to change zone to help you perfect your brushing technique.
Go Pirate!: All aboard, shipmates! If you want to become the best pirate in the islands, you don’t want to miss a single tooth while brushing. Control your character with your toothbrush and earn all the gold coins on the boat by brushing the indicated teeth.
Offline Data Synchronization: No more need to have your phone with you to brush your teeth! The E1 records your brushing data and automatically synchronizes with your phone via Bluetooth.
Dashboard: See all of your data laid out in a clear, well-organized way on our dashboard.

Updated to the newest version and lost my brushing history. It recognizes my E1 but doesn't seem to know when I've started brushing so I can't even complete the test brushing activity.
This app is just great, it made me realize how much I needed to learn the proper gestures! And the offline mode makes it really easy-to-use, I just need to sync the toothbrush and the app every once in a while to get my results! Everyone should try it.
Amazing concept, still needs polishing. I found myself restarting my phone to get the app to connect with the toothbrush. (My Bluetooth works fine) other than that, I love the usage.
I don't get all the negative reviews. I have owned my E1 toothbrush for several months and have updated it multiple times and it has always worked great. Thanks for taking the monotony out of brushing!
This is a really cool gamification app for your teeth! I love that you can earn free refills by earning smiles and keeping your teeth healthy! Best insentive structure ever!
Great app, helps a lot. Just something to improve on, maybe add rinsing time for the 'Coach' activity. But other than that, pretty decent.
Rarely works and doesn't sync with my device. Basically pointless. Don't waste your money.
Forced to update my Colgate MAGIK app to this - which doesn't work with the MAGIK toothbrush. Now have three expensive manual toothbrushes that are pointless and no response from Colgate. PLEASE FIX>
working great for four weeks,then asked to update,did so,and now it doesn't accept the Magik toothbrush. if you're thinking of getting this DON'T..although if you're reading this I suspect you already blew £20 on a manual toothbrush. Colgate not responding to complaints either. **AVOID**
was great.. updated the app and now it's total rubbish and won't let you log in!! pointless, an upset child and a waste of £20
Was working fine until now, now won't open tells me to update the app yet there's no app, little one loved using this and for the price you would expect it to work won't be telling anyone else to purchase its all shambles

It doesn't connect to my hum toothbrush and I can't get the hum app in Canada so I hoped since it's a Colgate product I could possibly do so but guess not
