Collector for ArcGIS

Disappointed. Downloading offline areas is frustrating. Once a magic number is hit, it stops downloading. Some areas download, others don't. I'm on area 41 and it continues to error. The webmap is fine since other areas download. Drawing polys in app, why do i have to move the map instead of placing points like the old app? This is inefficient, confusing, and annoying. Uninstalling the app also deletes tpks. Those need to be kept on the device for the reinstall. So many issues!

I just need to download an offline version of the map, and can't. Esri has some complicated directions via their website, which I've tried without success. Unfortunately, my contracting company uses it, so I'm stuck with this mapping fiasco in which I copy the point coordinates and transfer them to Backcountry navigator EVERY.MORNING. It's a waste of time, this app. Do not recommend.

Used this for a class last fall, learned quickly and easy to use- absolutely no problems, loved it. But opened it again to use on another project and theres tons of new bugs and problems. Cant put more than one point on my layer and a number of other issues. It's like they just abandoned this app and left us hanging.

This is by far the worst app I've ever used, the app constantly crashes. When you download maps it will throttle itself, no matter how fast your internet is it will not download fast, if the app experiences 1 millisecond of not being on internet it will cancel the download and you have to start from beginning

Very draining on battery. My job recently switched from paper worksheets to using this app. (Water meter/irrigation backflow testing) My phone is a Galaxy Active S6 oh, so kind of old but it was still working fine before I had to start using this app. First day I used this app it was heating up my phone and draining my battery. Since then my phone heats up even with minimal use and the battery seems to have been compromised because of this app. Besides that, useful tool to increase productivity

App always opens in a map before one can be selected and recently its having server connections issues. After trusting the server I get a new error that none of my changes can be saved. Collector Classic is also not functioning for me atm. I'm running Android version 10 btw

Stop starting when online but once mobile signal goes becomes hopeless so MUST go to offline mode. This must be downloaded before going into field which can be fiddly and take up large amount if storage. Even this stutters from time to time which if not careful means you do not record all the events. Also will keep all photos on own mobile after backing up to live system creating unnecessary memory usage.

Forever crashing, since January I've used this and/or field maps. Since January I have been unable to do a full 8hr day without issues. As a sub contractor it is essential I can show time worked. Would not recommend any business use this app unless they don't mind spending money on downtime wages!

One of the worst apps I've ever used. Barely functional due to nearly continual errors and crashing. I'd rather wipe with my bare hand than use this garbage. I wonder how many millions of dollars the federal government is wasting on contracts with ESRI for use of Collector. I wish another company would step up and deliver a better app product. If I didn't have to use this for work, I never would.

Can't even log in to this or Explorer, and yes my login details are correct. ArcGIS apps are extremely glitchy and barely work at the best of times. Very frustrating.

Very bad experience , when we make map and add another point to start point , and stop then offline ,and make another map when online 2 maps are add automatically , it's very bad .

Will not connect to Trimble R1. "Collector Classic" which has been retired, does. Sloppy UI, sync issues when using offline maps. Not a good app.

This app is a waste of time. We use it for mapping fibre/chambers and meters crashes all the time can not log in it's a complete joke. How the hell does anyone even think about using this pile of #h##

Unusable. Work for local government and can't access our maps on Android devices. ESRI classic used to work but the enterprise which I need throws an error about untrusted certificate. Give it 0 stars if I could since it is unfit for its purpose

Extremely frustrating to use. Multiple failed downloads of created offline map areas and sync issues. Survey123 is much more reliable.

Did they get rid of snapping? All the line worked was snapped and looking nice but now it doesn't work. Field map app has it. If this was done to get people to use the new app they could have just asked.

Can't even use it. Freezes and crashes before the map even loads, every single time. Junk. Pixel 4a5G

Downloading off-line areas often fails. The app often crashes, especially when taking photos within a data point

Keeps cutting out on android devices everytime data is attempted to be entered. They are not interested in Android .. They can't even ask or enquire about the issues .. Notice there are no comments from them ? .

Desyncs all the time, loses features. Makes me sign into my organization repeatedly. Iphone version is far superior to the android app

Doesn't work to great with Android Galaxy S9. Crashed at every save and took to long to update info.
