I used to really enjoy these surveys and they used to have decent prizes. Prizes then they said they would add some in the future. Never happened. Now, a glitchy version drops streaks when no streak was broken, so I lost my years long streak again. No bonus for me. I have thousands of points after giving a year of daily data. ETA: Glitched again, still no response to messages. No response when asking how to redeem my points. A total waste of time and energy over years.

I enjoyed coming to this app to see how others responded to different questions and because the quizzes were fun. However the prizes for points have gone down in quality and I feel cheated out of my streak. The app no longer sent me notifications for surveys so I lost my streak. The problem with a daily streak model is that, if you lose it, then you lose all motivation to use the app daily. Just as I have.

I have been loyally using this app for about 5 months in the hopes of saving up for a good prize. However, they removed all of the decent rewards. By the time I had enough points to get something besides a coupon, those prizes were out of stock, and they were never restocked. Very disappointed considering how much work I and other users have put into keeping up a streak. TL;DR it's entertaining, but don't bother with this app if you're in it for the rewards.

I recently downloaded this app and was really loving it. The layout, the questions, everything. Unfortunately, after already committing a number of hours to the program in order to save up points for a bigger prize, I am now out of surveys to answer. There used to be a huge number of surveys, but now it seems like they are limiting the number so no one can ever save up enough points for real rewards. what happened? I am actually really dissapointed, as this was the first non-scam survey app.

Interesting conversations can occur as a result of the surveys but the "lottery" raffle for prizes is spotty for chances of winning. My problem is that I have no access to account information on the app. There is nowhere in the app to find my email address on file and when I looked in my email, I realized that I have never received a pulse email. Ever. It's been so long since I downloaded the app that I don't remember the sign up process. All the app is good for at this point is the surveys.

I like taking the surveys. However, as everyone else has said, the good rewards are now gone as people were finally saving enough points for them. The sweepstakes approach is unfair because it was not the original incentive when the app was first developed, and why lose points if you enter and don't win?

This app used to be pretty cool. I have always liked the surveys and the ability to view results by various demographics. I once had a ~150 day streak going. I even have 22k+ points racked up. I stopped using the app when they got rid of all of their rewards and made it all sweepstakes. Get better rewards and I might start using it again. Until then, this app will have a 1 star rating from me because I can't give it zero (0) stars.

I will change this when Pulse actually starts instituting good rewards again. When I downloaded the app, there were fantastic prizes that could be gained by getting a certain amount of points, now they are all small donations, 10% off crazy expensive items, or raffles. The app at this point is just taking valuable data from us without any kind of payment system in return, while they can go and sell these surveys to groups for money.

When I first got the app in September last year, they actually had really good prizes like giftcards, phones, cash cards, and a really cool electric bike. Now they are all terrible. It's all donations and sweepstakes that no one cares about. Plus, with the most recent update, the stupid app won't even open, it just gets stuck on the opening screen. The Devs need to fix it ASAP.

This app is OK. You get points for answering questions, and you get to see other college student's answers. Although there were once good rewards, most of those have been taken out. Also, the notification icon for newer devices shows as a blank square instead of the pulse icon.

EDIT: Pulse's response that they are constantly adding new rewards is not just misleading, it is utterly and demonstrably false. Since Pulse made that reaponse 7 months ago, they have not added a eingle new reward. Please do not lie to me again. Definitely don't use the app for the rewards. its all auction based, and the prizes are pretty much meaningless now. Really wish they would return to the old way of letting you buy rewards with points!

I used this app daily for over a month. On the last update I stopped receiving notifications of new daily quizzes. I lost my huge streak and have hardly used the app since the update - since I'm no longer reminded to use it. I'm not sure why notifications were removed but it's definitely caused you to at least lose one user.

This is a bait and switch scam. I signed up for the gift card prizes, but they went out of stock soon after I joined. They were marked "Restocking Soon", so I continued to build my "streak". They then removed all prizes except for a "free" Pulse t-shirt (for 4,800 points - also "Restocking Soon"). Then, the app failed to open after an update and I lost my streak anyway. The example photos of the app and prizes are incredibly misleading. I'm glad users aren't letting this go without criticism.

Used points on infogram software. Pulse gave me a code, but didn't explain how to use it, as the basic package is free. I've searched everywhere on both companies' sites, and can find nothing. Feels like I got cheated out of points. Update edit: even though this isn't an reward option anymore, wanted to share this b/c it's pretty telling. Infogram contacted me. Turns out Pulse was still taking users' points in exchange for an expired promo code. Infogram was awesome and honored it anyway.

Pushed out an update that broke push notifications that reminded you of surveys & your streak ended. They also had downtime that didn't allow you to do any surveys, thus resetting your streak. 330 day streak gone because of developer error. Edit: The developers reached out to me and restored my streak and apologized for the issues. They were quick to respond and I'll be using the app again. Hopefully they add more prizes, though.

I almost never leave reviews. However. I feel the need to warn ye who enter here. Caveat emptor. I liked this app. The users are fun to interact with, and the surveys are interesting. When I joined, when I first scanned the prizes, I was excited. 'An iPhone?!' I thought to myself with glee. 'Square Cash credit for $2500?!' So, after months of surveys, I look back to the rewards. All the high tier rewards are gone. This is dangerously scammish behaviour. Fix it, and we'll change our reviews. lol

App is pretty good up until you try to redeem your points, anything that is relatively popular or good gets sold out and never restocked. Even if it does get restocked, seems to get restocked at random times or have super low quantity. The ones that never get sold out are either useless discounts on overpriced items or donations.

Used to like this app and complete multiple surveys daily. Now it crashes every 20 seconds, is extremely slow, has worse rewards, worse graphics for displaying statistics, and has more quizzes and personality tests than actual surveys these days.

Used this app for almost a year before all decent rewards, which I was finally close to being able to afford, we're taken off. The only options left to spend points on are raffles and donations as well as occasional T-shirts. Not worth the time investment, trust me.

The prizes at the moment aren't worth the time that goes into this app. Physical prizes seem to be what people want, so how about bringing those back? I'm almost afraid if you did bring any back though, all the users that have saved up waiting for something more than coupons will jump on those and they'll be gone again.
