This app has been the best dictionary for me for a decade. But I'm always frustrated by the following behavior. 1. Choose Japanese (12 keys) as the default language in Google keyboard settings. 2. Open app 3. Type the first letter in the seach box 4. Google keyboard layout is suddenly changed from alphabet layout to Japanese characters layout. It only happen start and resume in the app lifecycle.
Meanings in this dictionary just drive home the point and capture the mind of the reader with the result that one would tend to make use of the word without any mistakes . Excellent!
A poor version of a good dictionary. This feels like a text file has been bolted on to a standard interface. There is no spelling check or word suggestions. Additionally there is no thought of what to do if a word isn't in the dictionary. To be honest you're probably better off bookmarking the Collins dictionary page as the first definition of each word comes from the Cobuild Dictionary (lots of ads though).
WHY PAYMENT Why does one have to make payment after the trial period is over. you can meet your cost and earn money through ads. Show as many ads as you want I have no objection. But don't charge a huge amount Rs. 700. Many good dictionaries are absolutely free. I am unstalling it right now.
App is very good. It very well explains all the possible meanings of a single word when it is used in different contexts. This app is worth giving 5 stars but still I'm giving it 4 stars because 'pronunciation' feature is not available in the app which i think is equally important as it is to know the meaning of the word.
Well, I had the exact same built-in dictionary on my previous phone so I kind of got accustomed to it and desperately needed it on my new phone too. But I couldn't access it before making a payment. Despite that, I would give it 5 starts because it's worth it!

Most of the words are missing that you are looking for meaning. This dictionary needs to be updated with more vocabulary. Kindly upgrade it.
Overall I think this is a good app. I'm disappointed that you have to spend money in order to use it but it doesn't give you the audio of the words so you hear the pronunciation of the word

A perfect learning dictionary for non-native English learners. I wish this dictionary was introduced as a must have tool in all English medium schools.
Purchased and on 1st day found that so many words like grouch, connivance, eponymous, pantheism were not there in this dictionary. Not sure if somehow it is not supposed to have all words' meanings. Deducted 1 star for missing words. I like the way this dictionary elaborates meaning in simplest English though.
I randomly searched a word "CONFUTE" in this dictionary, which was not found in it. May be the same condition for other words too.

Easy explanation of the words makes the dictionary Perfect.. But its not good, education must have to be given at free cost .. Even if you make it free more people will recommend your dictionary.. Then yu wil get money on that.. Make money but not only the money 😎 Have some conscience towards poor.

No pronunciation, I've uninstalled it.
Not only you won't be able to find every word you're going to be looking for, cuz it's too much restricted. But also, you only have a short period of 30 days to use it for free. Afterwards, you'll have to pay for premium version, which costs a lot for a mere app designed for intermidiate students. With a currency, like the *Gourde*, with a low value, it will definitely cost an arm and a leg. However, somewhat good, with a basic easy-to-understand meaning of each word it contains.
