*CHROMEBOOK users read this* I'm using it on a chromebook with the play store, & it runs fine except it hides the app shortcuts on the taskbar as well as the button to open the system menu. It shows nothing but the app drawer, the overflow button & the keyboard layout switcher. When I closed it, & opened another app it went back to normal though.
Hands down, no doubt, with every part of my color deficient eyes, this is absolutely the best, most accurate, most satisfying color blind test that there is. If it was a paid app, I would buy it twice.
I think this method of detecting color blindness and its type is the most objective. Really helped me a lot.
I am disappointed. I read the description and reviews, installed the app and clicked start only to find Late, that there is an epilepsy warning when u click start. It would have been much kinder for the warning to be in the description so I wouldn't have to be doubly disappointed. If the app had cost anything I would feel very cheated for that. I hope people who can use the app find it useful.
I used to be just the tiniest bit colourblind, then it went away but now it's been going up to moderate and I've been doing this everyday to check my colour perception so than you, this has helped a lot.
Easy and interesting, just like a shooting game challenge for kids. I hope health for all your kid's eyes.
Excellent interface, and very usable, comparable results.
Very fun, honestly more fun than most mobile games!
I don't know. I can't download it. My phone doesn't have enough space and it isn't considering my iPad. I don't know how to add my iPad to the device options.
I'm giving it 3 stars cause I guest I'm not color blinded I was able touch every box it took me few on the green one but was able manage it
Differentiates between protan, deutan and tritan color deficiency, but does not give the user hints about deuteronopia vs deuteranomaly. A weakness, not a defect of the app.
Quick and accurate, easy to handle.
Works very well. Inline with my optometrist results.
I kinda wish I could get the green check for an animated cell phone background.
Intuitive and fun
Convincingly most precise colorblindness test on the internet.
Confirmed what I had been informed of. Good to get that from more than one tester.
Interesting but I came here from a website to see what colour blindness looks like, not test if I am.
I do have lobialcplay BB ow and it stings a bit on left and right sides. Change to inverted and send mebretest please thankyou _Mila
I feel good about this test.
I alredy know that I have some kind of colorblindness . It's called Deuton.
Title should have said "game".
The newest version of the app renders it useless for me. I only ever used maximum brightness in the harshest of direct sunlight. Because of my light sensitive eyes I can barely see the screen. Will re-review if changed (an option in the options menu would do well I think)
Unique app that quickly and easily identifies the type and degree of colour deficiency the user has (if any). The way the test works removes the fudge factor that exists in the Ishihara tests. I would have given 5 stars if your website didn't have the red download hyperlink obscured by a greenish background.
The test is very nice because it gives you type and exact severity of CBD. The only thing it maybe lacks is some overall statistics or information on the results, like 100 hue test has. So i get protan 37/100 and pdt type 10-0-0, what do i do with it? I would like to know how good or bad that is compared to other CB ppl, do all ppl with normal color vision get 0/100 or 1, or they get 5 or 10 maybe. Anyway I really think this is the most accurate test for colorblindness there is to find online. Good job!
This test is so much better than the ones with numbers that I would try to guess. Cut and dried... you see the different colored square or you don't. It's neat to learn what type of color blindness I have. Thank you for this app!
I'd give 5 stars for the functionality and zero for the language choice. Accuse me of being politically correct, but words matter. You don't call people who can see "blind". You don't call people who are typical "normal". Color does not exist out there. It exists in the brain and how it responds to wavelength. It is pejorative to term a non typical response as "not normal". Disability is a normal part of life. But the only disability here is not being typical. Typical people obuse their privilege. For what it is worth, my personal vision is typical. But your language still offends me. No one wants to offend their users. Please make the effort to not offend the population you portend to be helping.
This doesn't take many factors into account, like strabismus making it harder (or impossible in my case) to focus on large aspects of the display. In the time it takes me to look around the entire display it already made me loss some points. I don't have ANY degree of color vision yet that delay makes the app think otherwise. Clearly a bad design, make the test zone smaller so people don't need to move their eyes.
