I love tower defense games. This is not pay to win power ups, it requires skill to win. I paid for advert removal, and really enjoying this game at the moment. I haven't felt the need to spend the in game currency (nanites) on anything yet and I am progressing through the levels nicely. Some levels I have had to try multiple times to get the right placement and towers, but that is what I really like about good tower defence games, it's almost like a puzzle to solve. Great game, well done Devs!
Good game, but some notable bugs: -Under certain circumstances, your game will freeze up entirely mid-level or at the end of a level, meaning you have to restart it. -Sound settings sometimes revert to the default (all on) automatically, which can get annoying. Also, having an ad every time you so much as try to restart a level can get very upsetting when you're just trying to readjust tower placement.
I appreciate the reply, but still believe making upgrades take time to complete isn't good for TD games. Judging how long an upgrade takes and when certain enemies come involves dumb luck. We can't accurately judge time without using devices so we use estimates. TD games are fast-paced so the estimates have to be quite precise. If your estimates turn out to be a bit too inaccurate, which is likely to happen, the enemies will get through before your upgrade finishes.
This is great game, very difficult and not overly complicated. However it's let down by two things IMO. Firstly, I've entered the store accidentally about 50 times - there's no need for a link to it to be available on every single screen in the game. Secondly, the navigation in the app is both messy and annoying as hell - when backing out of any screen using the back button I'm asked if I want to cancel this mission. The mission of changing the settings? Could easily be the best TD game on Play.
Simple yet compelling. EDIT: My nanites keep disappearing! I have tried a bunch of times to watch a handful of ads to stockpile nanites for later use, but I almost always have zero upon starting a game later. I don't like watching ads mid-game to earn nanites because the game crashes too often after watching an ad, and I wouldn't want to lose progress in a level if I'm doing well... so I guess I have to start up the app a bit before I want to play, and run a few ads before playing. Not ideal.
worth purchasing! a lot of levels. I like tower defense style games and especially this one. its very simple but captivating. lol, to the guy complaining he can do a better game himself... do it then. let's see it. hilarious- complaining about ads when the purchase to remove ads is minuscule and definitely worth it. thanks for a fun game. edit: still fun, but after a while I reduced my rating. after the initial levels it is impossible to win without watching ads or making further purchases.
A solid app, but could use some improvements. Fun game for sure. 1. The particle and flashing effects should be able to be turned off or toned down. 2. The tower placement is finicky and could be improved, at a minimum showing red where you can't place one but honestly just changing how you place towers would be better in my opinion. 3. Better pausing and menus. The app is very finicky and just glitches and freezes at certain times. Some testing and bug fixes would be appreciated.
AWESOME GAME! I play a lot of these tower defense games and I must say this one is very cool and different in a really good way. The gameplay and difficulty are just the perfect balance and the game boards although simple are also very interesting in the paths and speeds of each of the different waves. I've been playing rhis nonstop for the past week and love it. the music and girl robot voice are nice touches as well. The ads are not that bad either; would much rather have it free.
I absolutely love this game. The classic concept. The clean design. The easily understandable devices. It's great. It really is. BUUUTTTT... I understand that the game is free and that it's an indie team, but the amount of ads is unbearable. I struggle to recommend the game to friends because I'm embarrassed at how constantly one is interrupted. There has to be a better way. The story can be written a lot better and the menus could use some decluttering, but the game itself is fantastic. Nice.
Fourth level after the tutorial is way too hard. Just a way to farm ads since there's one every time you restart. Edit: Got a response to my review instantly. Here's my response to that. There's a point where having ads is not just to make the game free. Having loads of them and having them show up so often is just greed. I've known free games that have ads, but not a greedy and obnoxious amount of them. Ads are spread out, which makes the game worth playing with the ads.
It's fun, aesthetically pleasing, and so far playable without microtransactions. However, it frames a gameplay element as highly recommended that relies upon microtransactions or watching ads; simultaneously, in a roundabout fashion, it asks you to not use the Play Store rating system (this one) unless your review is positive. Watching ads is ok in lieu of payment for a gameplay element, but there should be an option to buy the full game instead. There IS this option, but it is $42.
Absolutely amazing app! Only missing one thing though (unless its in the paid version.) Something I hope gets added to the game is a sandbox mode. Basically you get unlimited rings can spawn enemies control waves and use all defenders (unless all defenders can only be used in the paid version.) But anyway I'd love to see that added to the app/game. Edit: something about having unlimited rings is that I don't know if you would have unlimited nanites too. Considering that getting that much is cost
The challenge is decent. But it feels like once you get to wave 5 you are safe. It's a bit too slow for my taste, way to many waves in some levels. I think one had 88,it took like 30 minutes, and I skipped all I could. A mobile game in my mind should be something I can do when I have a little time to spare. I do enjoy it, but the speed really draws my experience down, especially when I feel safe after the first few rounds. I don't use the p2w powers at all. 5 seconds adds are fine.
Good start. Rating after level 1-2, so far so good. Ads not intrusive yet, but I usually pay to go Ad free if I think the devs have made a good game. I paid to go Ad-free and haven't needed to spend more. If only more games were like this. Update - Still playing months later. Occasional infinite damage spot appears near reactor, which crashes game, but it's still an excellent test of skill and reasoning if you avoid using the in game "cheats"; You can progress a long way without them!
Honestly a really great little tower defense game. It allows free placement of your towers, a plus as I feel restricted by limited build room in other TD games. Playing through the levels teaches you quite well about what tower is good against what and in what situation. While most levels you can get by with just a laser tower, there are some tricky levels that force you to use a different start. It's fun, keeps you on your toes. Though a lot of maps have 99 waves. ~30min to complete.
I've really enjoyed this game. So much so, that on the third world, I bought the game. I play this at work when there's a bit of down time and am finding it hard to resist playing it at home, too. It does have a bit of an issue with placement of turrets in tight places and it can't handle being paused mid-game for more than a few minutes or switching to other applications; It usually ends up restarting the game. It's no big deal for me, but could be frustrating to have to start the level over
The gaming of the review system in app is a turn off to the entire game. While I understand the need for a small developer to find advantages, the implementation in this app appears dishonest and immoral to most users. Also the banner ad and regular video ads seems like double dipping. You could get more players if you kept banner and limited the video ads to every other level. Also the sound change does not function well on my note 9. I should be able to hold the button, not just single check.
One of the better TD games out recently. Hard enough to keep you interested, with nice effects! Would like to see the ability to choose which enemy each tower fires at (first, last, strongest etc) as in some of the twistier levels, you're firing at something further back and the ones nearer the end get through, with no way to stop them.
Haven't played a tower defense game this good in a while. While it is simple and easy to play it gets pretty difficult and is a great pastime only a few complaints I know as a smaller company they have to have ads (unless you buy the free version) but you literally have to watch an ad b4 you can play a level every time you turn it on. Other than that game is great the adds are not intrusive otherwise and gameplay is good I would highly recommend
Awesome! It reminds me of a game that was on the iOS app store. One of my favorite games that disappeared. I believe the name was swarm. The board and paths were hexagon and in some levels there were multiple paths. You could block off some paths. This would allow you to manipulate it a little. Keep up the good work!
Fun and attractive game. Selling towers and upgrading them takes too long though, making them risky and pointless courses of action sometimes. Selling should be instantaneous, upgrading should be quicker. Game is also too easy and not very challenging. Addressing those issues would improve the game a lot. Edit on December: thanks for the response. After more use of this game it would be necessary to save progress. Right now progress is lost if you quit the game for a few hours.
Absoulutly great game. The ads may be a little much but it definently helps that you can skip them. New tower ideas could possibly be a shutgun tower so when you upgrade it the damage and amount of bullets increase too. A different type of lazer tower would be cool too where it has two towers (one on each side of the lane) and a lazer going straight through both of them turning on periodicaly. And the endless modes are great by the way. Nice job.
I've enjoyed playing this game. I have gone through easy, normal and hard modes and completed all levels. Very challenging even if you purchase the unlimited nanites. There is still an amount of strategy needed. I hope the devs continue to produce levels as I would love to continue playing.
I would define this as a budget tower defense game very fun it seems like the Creator was limited in budget but spent a lot of time designing each individual level and the difficulty is slowly gets harder as you play through the levels you can jump right into a hard difficult area if you want to but I'd recommend just playing through it so you can learn the core gameplay mechanics because it does play differently from other Tower defense games
Once of the best TD games I have played! More difficult than others but, in this case, out makes the game more enjoyable. Keep up the great work! My only question / complaint is that the latest v2.1 update mentions "The new world number 8 with a total of 9 official game levels was added!" however I do not see world 8 available in the game. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!
Honestly the mechanics are fun & i've spent quite some time in it. However, like a great relationship that ends badly, i cant recommend this for so many reasons that (if you play it) will leave you extremely frustrated. The biggest of the issues is difficulty balancing. Once you figure out the tricks, the first section is a grind. Then the 2nd section increases SO much in difficulty that it may not even be possible to win most of the levels without watching Ads for power ups. ~Not happy gamer
If the goal of this game is just to be an eye candy, that would explain the lack of everything. The tower stats. Info on enemies, and what their weakness are since it seems some towers do more damage but can't really tell since there is no stat to back it up. A good game to pass time but for tower defense aspect, it is just average.
