Color Detector
Takes a photo and the color on the center is shown on RGB, HSV and HTML notation. Also looks for the nearest color name and speaks it (needs the Speech Synthesis API to speak Colors). It has a list of more than 1600 color names.
Useful for color blind people, designers, etc.
Due to popular demand, now includes a white balance option!Can also share recognized colors by Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc.

It's a very useful app! Only problem is that the text showing the color values is so tiny that I can't read it even with my reading glasses.
It isn't perfect. Sometimes it'll get similar colors mixed up. It's still very, very good and accurate though.
Should have the option of speaking slower, or auto repeat speaking. User should also have a repeat identify button.
This is actually good but just add a photo color detector to since i wanna know the hex color of my photo pls update.

Terrible. Within first 3 pictures became super uncalibrated. White would be green or brown, and its camrea looks all funky
It was amazing app once. It needs and update for latest OS now. Please upgrade it.

It's a good app
I tried this on my tablet and phone and no matter what setting it could not give me the correct color. Most of the time Whites was blues , browns were reds, grays were greens. Tried with and without flash. Tried selecting type of lighting and it made no difference.
Good app but there is no option ti shut down that irritating noise when taking a picture, would be great to fix it... Trying to use is on my new xpera S (jelly beans) but doesnt work :(
Colors found were way off. Similar apps work in real time without needing a photo.
Works but it's far to simplistic.. No way to turn off flash (Galaxy A73)... Not sure if it's standard to force the flash but it should without doubt be optional. Zoom function and a selection of crosshairs for greater accuracy would be nice too. We may even consider putting up with an ad or two with some more advanced (not really) features... Devs, please consider these suggestions!
