Color Flashlight

Almost all flashlight apps use only the phone's white LED. That's too bad, because it's very useful to also be able to set the screen to a single colour, as this app does. (For example, red is a good colour when you don't want to disturb other people in the room.) However, it's much easier to set the screen colour when you can see the screen change along with the slider, rather than having to guess. Hope you'll consider adding that.

Hi there! I have 2 problems with your app. The first one is. How do you turn off the soft keys when using text. It leaves a big illuminated white panel on the side of your text message. Your earlier version didn't do this. The second one is. When you open your app, is there any way of not having the torch turning on until you want it to. Can you install an on/off button, rather than on by default. Can you fix these problems? I can't give more than 2 stars till it's fixed. Todd

It works... The ads kill the vibe from time to time... But that's why it's free. Unless you have different colored LEDs on your phone. The color change occurs in the screen. Taking showers with the lights off with a colored screen light on... Definitely sets a mood. But the white light from the ads kill the vibe.

The actual phone flashlight is still white, maybe with a tiny, tiny hint of pinkish red thrown in but that's it. The main screen, however, can of course change to all the colors you want because that's totally the same thing as what is advertised and literally shown on the app's thumbnail itself. Honestly they are way better ambiance lighting apps you can download over this, which, again, this app clearly does NOT provide what is advertised to the phone's main flashlight..... 😐

I didn't really appreciate this because it felt as though you could easily just turn on your phone screen to find the same thing. The different aspects and color choices can be cool. However since this mostly just appears on the screen rather than an actual flashlight, I don't see why you would download it. But hey, do what does you, this is just my experience on a tablet.

Great app! This app allows you to not only use your camera light as a flashlight, but it also allows you to turn your whole screen different colors. I use it to turn my screen red at night so it doesn't ruin my night vision. Don't pay attention to the negative ads that say the developer is misleading. The description is one of the best you will read.

Incredible! Bugs attract-repel to the phone screen, wavelength dependent. Then spray them with insecticide as they hover. (Some bugs) they walk the cell screen until I change it to LIGHT BLUE.--They stop walking! Or walk the perimeter of the screen and avoid to L. Blue. This app is the Agar for bugs. Awesome! Works ok for me. I Only use it for the red light to reveal secrets codes encrypted in red for a board game. The feature and menue symbols are not very descriptive or described. Even now I get confused where to find the single color display light function. It goes back to the last used one which I appreciate a lot. The cross feature is actually not a cross. I guess a small keyword and/or description would be helpful. It would be interesting to know which use cases the app can be used.

if you're looking up lights in the app store you must need a light so just get this app. it has lights... from the bright camera-flash led flashlight and a less intense screen light that makes a great night light and is customizable to any color you want to emergency flashers, strobe lights, a candle light (concerts?) and a few others... just get this app.

I've had this app on every smart phone I've ever had. I love the options and functionality. I actually wish I could pay for it (am I missing something?), just to remove the minimally invasive adds. This is the flashlight your phone should come with in the first place!

This is the best app of found for being able to put Marquis messages on your phone for others to read. You can use it to let other drivers know they have something hanging out of their door or have a tail light out or any other message you want to show someone As well as several other functions the only reason doesn't get 5 stars is because You can only have one message saved at a time instead of having preloaded messages that you can reuse

i cant say i didn't expect it to make my flashlight shine different colors except white, but you shouldn't mislead people into thinking the flashlight itself would change colors and not just the screen. if you want your flashlight to be a different color then use a marker on clear tape and put it over the light.

Fun features, gives many more options than the standard installed flashlight app in my and most phones. There are adds that can distract or diminish from the lighting effects being used, i.e. a bright white advert when you've selected a red or blue solid panel light which is lame.

This is a useful app. I miss the possibility of paying to stop ads. It's very easy to accidentally touch the banner ad, and then the app disappears and there comes an add you never intended to open. It gets in the way of the usefulness.

I've had this flashlight for at least a year, maybe longer... and never an issue with it. I only wish ALL apps were this easy to work with...no ads, no pop-ups getting in my way, no demands for money... nice work and kudos to the developer! 👍🏻 FIVE STARS*****

It's a great app. It will turn on the light on the phone. It also has many options to light up the screen on the phone. It will allow you to choose any color. It has the option of looking like a flame which I'd great for concerts. It has a flashing "Help" for emergencies. It also has many other options. I had this App on my pretty phone and made sure to install it on my new phone.

Works like it should, pretty much always. The only time I ever have anything resembling a problem using this app is when I accidentally change to something other than the flashlight function. I only need the one light, really.

The previous version was more intuitive, but the present version is by no means difficult to figure out. That the light comes on faster is greatly appreciated.

I've had this app for a very long time and it is very much worth putting on your phone in my opinion. It is bright, just be careful about leaving it on because some phones will over heat. Otherwise its amazing. I believe I've had this app since my first smart phone that was over 5 years ago.

Really like that I can use the screen flashlight in the colors and brightness of my choice. Hopefully I'll never need to use any of the emergency settings that it comes with.

This flashlight is extremely versatile. I would like to see a greater magnification ability with more contrast adjustment. To be honest, I have only found that in one app and this one is much better overall.

The one thing I'd like future versions to have is a feature that allows the phone's default torch to change colors as well as the version that this app already changes colors, while using the screen as a flashlight!

Misleading description, had the impression I'll be able to use coloured flashlight from the cameras flash LED at the back, BUT IT DOESN'T ALLOW THIS! Nobody talked about a colourful screen being used as flashlight. Oh wait, maybe I missed the Smartphone Screen lesson in high school. 🙄

I've used this app for quite a while now and have been really happy with it. That is, until I upgraded phones and ended up with the latest version of the app. Now I have to hit the back button twice to get out of it. It's not a huge issue, but it's definitely annoyance and I don't see how this was a necessary change.

Has a lot of nice features for a free app. I've even used it for stage lighting at a small venue that had none for my band with the strobe thing it can do.

Works great! I can't tell you how often this app comes in handy. I use the backlight on the touchscreen option for reading, and the camera flash light option for seeing in the dark. Very nice!

It fine . . . spotlight & pa el light is all I use. Only problem is that it is way too easy to turn it off. Any other app turns the light off SO you COULD NOT use the GPS & Map to get out of the woods and LIGHT your way with this Flashlight.

Most people don't understand this app is for light painting. Some of tools are useful but have ads on bottom of screen. The animations for text and background only good for video not light painting.
