Color Mixer
Color Mixer is here to help to solve the real world color mixing problems using its unique subtractive color model. It is able to simulate real-world color mixing and more importantly, it can "unmix" any given color into a combination of mixing colors.
The app also features a custom made color picker that allows you to pick colors from variable sources including a color wheel, color values in RGB, CMYK or HSL model, an image from your gallery or camera and your custom color table.
There are 3 basic modes in this app, "Unmix", "Mix A + B" and "Convert A to B". With "Unmix", you select a color from the color picker and the app will resolve it into a combination of prime colors. With "Mix A + B", you select 2 colors and the app shows the result of mixing them together. With "Convert A to B", the app gives you a list of color you need to add to convert one color into another.
There is also an expert mode where you can complete all of the above functions in one single UI.

I like it but the RAL library is missing some colors. LIKE 7027 and 8020. Not sure why🤔? But all in all a useful app. Wish they'd add the missing colors though.
I really really love this app for mixing primaries, but many things suddenly are not working. I wanted to report it, but there is no feedback button. The saved mixes are not showing the right mixed color anymore and the expert mode sometimes doesn't work. I hope this gets fixed, because it's the best app for color mixing i have tried. Edit: They immediately fixed the issues! Design is simple, beautiful and practical. Thank you!
From what I've seen so far, I love it. I use it primarily for the unmixing function, which is quite precise in which colors and how much you need to mix to get a certain color. The ads are not overwhelming, the app is easy to navigate and use. I don't usually leave reviews but this app really deserves the 5 stars.
I never thought this would be the on Looking for. The app is free with a narrow ad in the bottom of screen but it's great for making mixing colors. You can also unmixed colors by taking an snapshot, camera, gallery or whatever. Painters would definitely love the app and it says the name of the colors. Little confusing UI at first but you will get there..
LOVE THIS APP! I mix clay for my business to get specific colors that I am wanting. This app goes as far as letting me take a picture of a color that inspires me, save it and then gives me the ratio of the colors that are in the color that I want. It's not a polymer clay recipe so you still have to play around with the colors & ratio, but it's a great start & I've never been disappointed.
Wohoooo, guys you first must learn to use and then to subscribe. This app is what I have searching. For me works fine. For them who their camera doesn't work well i suggest to change their smartphones. I am a professional painter or interior and exterior designer and this app is helping me so much, especially at mixing and finding a huge number of colors. And the best thing in this app is (color expand). Thanks
NO. Dont fall for it. I thought that its helpful, I was sooo excited to try out with real colors once I saw this app, but regret as soon as I started mixing colors, it isnt much accurate I literally wasted alot of my colors :(
Not a bad app, but the color selection is fairly limited. It would be great if you could add a way to import your own color library (for a brand like gamblin)
Maybe my phone, but when I use the camera to get colors what I see on the screen is very different from what the color really is. I tried in several different light settings, from natural room to under a led lamp. A case with a teal lid came out as Microsoft blue.
The app has a lot of potential. Initially there was a problem with the iPhone XR compatibility however the developer responded quickly and resolved the issue. It will be even better if an algorithm is developed for mixing transparent colours- there is a good market of Airbrush Venturi artists looking for an app like this that will work with translucents.
It's an amazing app. I hardly purchase apps but I did purchase this app to show my support to the developer who did this. Great job 👍. It would be great to have an API or a place where I can save or query the percentages of mix so I can use the percentages say to a Excel or print it etc
That would be amazing if you could! You'd have one of the best colour apps on the playstore if you ever were to add that! I really hope to see it happen, I'd really love to add Color Mixer to my folder of forever art tools! ^-^
Very useful app, it helps me to find color blend for dyeing, not accurate for waterbased dye, but it helps, gave you 5 stars and buy it already, keep improving..! (bugs report, unable to remove my color, apps need to restart if i want to remove color, please add search color name feature, and custom color name)
Looove that each shade has a name. This is really, really useful when creating colorful art to get a pristine aesthetic. It's very simple but very effective. Well done.
Forces you to watch ads to use the app itself. Extremely annoying, especially as an artist that only is on the app for a minute or two at a time.
Efficient and easy to use paint colour app. I use it for Hot Wheels repainting and restoring. Just take a pic, use unmix and replicate the colour - or create your own with the exact colours you have with mix & image colour picking.
It is PERFECT for art! It gives 100% accurate predictions of what the colors will look like! I use this ALL THE TIME. It will help you so much, you should try it!!
I recommend this app to anyone who wants help with colour mixing. It's absolutely fantastic, instead of mixing clay together hoping I get the result I'm after I can use this app to get a pretty accurate mix ratio!
Very good colour mixing also unmixing with percent(%) value concept .
Landscape mode on tablet does not work. One thing lacks, maybe next version will have it: chose a color and make a highlight and a shadow for it. Also colors from AMMO will be a great addition
Great app and all, but I need a tutorial or something else to tell me how it works. Whenever I try to save a colour I like it wont save. Its so frustrating! Is this a glitch? Am I not doing it right?
Really good app. It has many features. And yellow and blue mix green right? In hex codes, blue and yellow will make gray. So yeah. 5/5
Considering this is the first review I've ever written, and I'm doing it because I just had to leave a message letting artist's know how unbelievably easy to use and do easy to reach for. I've been searching for a way to buy it, but nothing comes up. I'd like see the benefits of purchasing the app, although I don't know how that this app can be any better. Developers? Can you help me out with this?
It is a very useful app. The export mode has been glitch where if I set 2 color to 0, the app closes out.
I really love it so much!! And i have a suggestion? Can you add a save changes to the color and when you save it it can go through messenger insta or any social apps cuz i like the color and i want to put it on my messenger groups or chats...Its my suggestion but can you put it pls? I Love It UwU
Every time you try to do something, you have NO CHOICE but to either watch an ad or buy the premium. I get how you do want money and support but I don't want to be forced to support you. Uninstalling.
Interesting at beginning. But after 5 minutes of fiddling with options it stops working. I wish to give you negative rating but crapy systems not allow me . So mminus 100 stars , mates.

good app but it needs to have a hex code input. Besides watching ads without even opening the app is annoying...
$7.50 is a bit much to just get rid of ads. I think I'd consider it if there were more benefits. Wish there was a folder or something so I could group mixed colors I want for a project and not have to scroll down to picture them all together or be distracted by other colors. Also would be great to compare two mixes side by side. These ideas would be good for the premium version; I would instantly buy.
