very useful and handy app for color detection right around you. the most convenient available on the market, in my experience. I also calibrated my displays using this app by measuring the colored rectangles shown by the display - not absolutely accurate, but acceptable. very good for artists and designers. con: ads banner are not very conveniently located, and I occasionally accidentally touched it, and disabling of ads is a little expensive, it seems to me.
Thanks for the app, it has helped me a lot with very dark shades I have a hard time. But the images appears, sometimes, changed when I open it on the app. When I look through other apps, images appear smooth with no lower resolution, but when I open on the app, these rough patches appear.I don't know what to do.
Great app,very accurate in colours.
Unfortunately no option to discard # for Code button, you must do several steps via history instead. If you give camera permission the camera will start every app launch and every image switch even if you mostly don't want to use camera. Have to close image to go to settings. Very convenient controls when dragging, zooming and picking color. If you use camera you have nice controls such as exposure lock and setting focus modes. Active development - high chance of upcoming features and tuning.
****** 6 Stars ****** I am color 'blind'', a bad phrase. I see colors, just have a hard time with certain colors. I see red from green at a traffic light just fine. I have been looking for an app like this, glad I found it. The only thing I would like to see added, is the hex values. Thank you Mikhail for developing this app, very much appreciated.
Works so so. Would like to be able to create our own HEX code charts as well. I use this to match colors of paint or floss or pencils I HAVE. There are too many times when a name for a color shows up the SAME NAME even if it looks more blue or green or purple. I would also like to LOCK a pic in place and drag the stylus around instead.
The colours are out of focus? Like when the printer is running out of the ink, or when a magazine prints one colour out of place except none of the colours are lined up? I'm very confused. Please fix? The interface is fine, it would get a much higher rating if I could figure this problem out.
just because I get spammed with ads they are also inappropriate
Shows two quite different colors as same "85% cocoa"; again two very different colors are named as "banana 100" by your app (but one of those colors is yellow, while the other one is very much greenish). I like that image file can be shared to your app directly. This is very useful feature I didn't see in other such apps so far. Giving colors names in human language is another highly appreciated feature you provide. Wish you all the best!
Amazing app to get an objective name and parameters for those colors you see in videos, photographs, and across the Internet. However, I think it could be a whole lot better if implemented as a floating widget with S-Pen support. Imagine just pulling out your S-Pen, selecting this app from the Air Commands menu that automatically pops-up, and just placing the tip of your S-Pen on ANY part of the currently displayed image/paused video to get the color name identified. That'll be so awesome!
Does the job, but I didn't feel it was a very intuitive experience. Clicking a color makes an odd, loud camera click sound (great when you're in public), but it wouldn't copy the hex code.
Excellent app! It does exactly what it says. My only recommendation would to be to have the color picker use crosshairs instead of a circle. This would allow you to see exactly the value that you're picking.
Intuitive. Fast. Simple, but with many options at the same time. Perfect for adjusting widget colours to fit current wallpaper. Cheap to remove ads. Dark theme available.
Absolutely love this app. It has been super helpful for modifying widgets to match the color scheme of the wallpaper. Would definitely recommend.
Unbelievably Great App. After many problems trying to source the correct colour fix to repair a big chip in ceramic floor tiles, I downloaded this app. It was perfect and I now have the correct colour of tile fix. I also paid for add free, but they still appeared. After contacting Mikhail, the developer, he replied very quickly, with great advice on how to sort this problem and offered a refund right away. His advice worked and I thank him for his help, advice and the offer of a refund.
Pretty cool app. I am using it to analyze the the Cl and pH levels in my pool. One thing I don't understand though, is how can the wavelength ever be out of range? If I can see it, and it has a color, then why can't you assign a wavelength to it, e.g. Pale Mauve?
Very impressive. It quickly picks up the colour and shows the value in a range of formats. I've compared it to my RAL K7 colour swatch and it picked the nearest colour correctly. I've immediately paid to remove the adverts.
it was very useful at first, but now its starting to show a null reference error on me, and i cant use it anymore. I keep on opening image but it shows a null error. I restarted the app didnt work, restarted the app, didnt work. I reinstalled it and THE ERROR APPEARS AGAIN. Great, now i cant use the app anymore. I need solutions to how to solve this issue.
Excellent app! It not only gives you the color name, but it also gives the color code as well ...... Technology these days are incredible. You could get this info 10 years ago
It actually works incredibly well The only feature missing in my opinion is a manual shutter speed and iso (or a manual exposure) and light flickering optimization for more accurate results but overall i am impressed
Love the app, but it doesn't seem to read exif data so the orientation of some of my imported pics is wrong. It'd be nice if I could rotate images within the app to correct that issue.
A PLUS you get to download to evaluate. Unlike other apps that now insist you buy first. In my opinion definitely for professional purposes! Should be marketed as such. Is beyond my comprehension. The three stars are because it probably does a very good job but I can't with all honestly say it does. Really unable to put it to use.
I don't understand all the good reviews 😂 honestly, this is just a big mess. First of all, I was hoping to be able to select pics from my gallery, but I have to use it with something right in front of me. How am I supposed to color a picture of Charli demilio, obviously I don't have her in front of me!!! Also, when I take a picture of something in front of the camera, it says a weird color. For example, I took a picture of the floor, which is tan, and it says black!! UNINSTALLED.
Free app yet they want credit card info stating they won't charge my card. Well then you shouldn't need my credit card info. I understand if I was to purchase from the app. Already all apps have a bad rap because of the fine print on sharing our data.
The interface aint so intuitive. I just needed to pick a color from a color wheel lookaliek thing, didnt find it in 10 minutes.
Working well so far. Would be really nice to be able to zoom in a bit more than currently able to in the app to identify colour. Would be nice to be able to add colours to a user defined palette with user lables.
The simplest and most easy to use color picker app out there! Does what it says on the tin, and does it extremely well in an uncluttered and intuitive format.
Best color detection app I've used. and unlike most others, this app has a dark theme. 5 stars!
