Color Splash Photo Effect

UPDATE : Don't bother. Latest update has made the app unusable. No way to get to edit the colour, which was the whole point. Unless this is fixed, I may as well delete it. ........................................................... Fairly easy to use - still getting used to the app. Loving the zoom mode as it makes it a lot easier, plus a stylus for more accuracy

I don't like that it stretches your photo. Its very annoying to fix and pointless. The colour splash feature does work which is good. I wish you could zoom in more or make the curser smaller as its difficult to do anything with much precision, even with the rubber. But its good. It could be a lot worse but it isn't.

I wanted to love this app but, unfortunately, didn't come close - This app does not allow you to "splash" color, but rather, it allows you to manipulate the image by stretching it horizontally and/or vertically, then it let's you sort of tilt it so it appears that your looking at it from a different angle - As far as doing anything with color, no... nothing at all - Also, there's an exorbitant amount of ads that you need to navigate through as well - Very disappointed

Not as easy as it seems. It takes a long time to color edit the photo without a pen and when doing it on your phone, most people use their fingers, so its hard to get certain objects to be colorful while others black and white. If you have fat fingers, forget it. There were tons of ads the first 40 seconds of using it, which was useless because I didn't even notice the ad itself since I was busy trying to make it go away. I uninstalled it.

I used to really like this app as it was simple to use. But since a recent update, the layout of the app has changed completely (and became very confusing) and it warps the images! At first I thought maybe it now worked with only perfectly square images, so I cropped an image and tried that, but then the app still weirdly cropped and stretch it. It really is a shame, because the app worked really well and was easy to understand an use before the update!

Reprehensible. It should be removed from the Play Store. Wish I could give it zero stars. It moves the picture around a little bit but it also distorts the hell out of it. It seems to be mostly an app that displays ads for other apps. And it absolutely does not manipulate color. Uninstalled it. Spare yourself the time.

Really cool. But not precise enough. Which is not so much the app's fault but more that even MY fingers as a girl are still too big for the tiny precision work. With a lot of angel-like patience the result gets only 99% precise. The software should be able to distinguish between different areas/surfaces of a picture, then an app-intgrated "mouse" to klick on the different areas/surfaces to cororize or decolorize them would be of help. We wouldn't need to use our imprecise fingertips.

This app would get a higher rating if for not one major issue. It doesnt always save the work you do. I find myself having to edit the same photo 2 or 3 times due to this issue. I spent about 20mins (the photo had a lot of color to edit and I was trying to get it perfect) editing a photo and it didn't save it!!!!!!!!!!

Waste of time! Ads everywhere!! Every time you make a selection there is an ad. Very annoying! Plus there is no clear direction of how to even use the app. The splash page has the choices and you can't choose what color. Also the zoom isn't good at all to color the pic you want. All around not a good app at all.

Extremely bad!!! I went in to the app and chose the picture I wanted to use, my picture was taken in landscape and when it loaded onto the app it had been stretched into portrait so now I had a stretched picture. The tools allow you to put It back to normal but when i press the tick in the right had corner to say I'm done, the whole app crashes. would not download this app. would give it 0 starts if j could!!!

Useless app. What it does has no practical use. Also with the same process the results vary! Of course with different pics. There are much better apps doing similar things but more efficiently and much higher quality. It also does not supports camera!!! Seriously... And yes too many ads. Splash screen is an ad... All icons are links to apps, which translates to being ads.. and even while working ads pop up in front of you!

Pretty easy to use, and can do lots of things with pictures. I like it. I do wish the Draw feature had an "Undo" function though. Toggling back and forth between the eraser and the pen size and the colors you want to use is extremely tedious.

Too many ads. Downloads for extra features fail. This failing downloads that constantly pop up all day long in notifications and you have to force close app. The notifications are horrible. It's not even worth it. There's free apps that come on my phone that do the same thing.

in addition to the black and white feature Color Splash offers fantastic blur effects and regular. tho excellent, effects features. I always use it as my go-to basic app for cleaning up shots. The focus feature is awesome. The black and white feature is so easy to use its pretty much full proof. Definitely worth taking up some data.

App is so-so. Not horrible, but not great. Too many other pieces to download in order to do changes to pics, and the "free" stuff (comes preloaded when you install app) is pretty lame. Cool enough for people who goof around. Dumb as all get out for those more serious or artsy with photos.

Totally a WASTE OF TIME.... seems to be a scam.... every time I set the picture I would hit any of the buttons to continue and it would take me back out to the beginning. One button would bring up a whole page of icons of the app. Then they would flip to others often being inappropriate!!!!

I'm the type that loves to tinker and adjust most all of my pics. This app definitely has me experimenting and having a blast trying out some amazing effects, frames, filters, stickers, etc... You name it! Would recommend this app to everyone that enjoys pic play.. whether it's an all out piece of art you're creating or just a simple light change or adding a frame, you'll be happy with the results!

Ads can be aggressive. Doesn't always keep the color splash after adding additional effects. Sometimes can't add the color splash to some previous edited photos. When it does work it makes a great pic. Overall whether it's their glitches or user error it does what I installed it for.

Disappointed the app closed twice & all the editing had been lost. Ads are amusing but annoying. I haven't inspected the final draft because immediately after saving the 'rate this app' questions appeared. Likewise I cannot speak of the quality of all the changes I made. So far 3 stars.

It worked okay when I first downloaded it. now it doesn't have any options. as soon as you tap the checkmark in the top right corner after rotation the photo, the photo goes away. there are no more options for color or to even save the photo.

No "color splash." I don't see anywhere in the app where you can adjust anything to do with color. It just seems to have tools to stretch and distort your photo, which I did not try, mainly because the app keeps crashing.

I like the app but it would be nice if user instructions were included. There is a lot of features and it would be great if a user could go to a help or about screen that contains content on all the functionality of the app and the cool features.

Horrible! I tried several times...too many ads on START screen, it was confusing. After choosing pic from my gallery, adjusting the pic which comes up distorted and flipped around...tapped the check mark in corner and the app closes!! Needs Work! I'll look for another app...

the app was installed and deleted within an hour. WAY too many advertisements!!! when you get to the editing part, you can stretch and flip and rotate but NOTHING with the color. Then... when you go to actually save your work, the app kicks you out. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME PEOPLE!!!

when I first installed this app I loved it. Now it did an update and it won't work with my phone. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, still won't work. I use this app because it let me choose what i wanted to color. If you would fix that issue I would give it a higher rating and reinstalled it.

After an upgrade the app does not work. Everytime I load a picture it is already rotated 90° counter clockwise and is widened out. each time I fix it and click the check mark the app closes. it never saves. I was enjoying this app until that last update.

I got this specifically to make a red scarf on a black and white photo. It can't be done unless the photo already has a red scarf. If there was a color pallet to choose from, this would work. Otherwise, this is just a mediocre photo editor with entirely too many ads.

Confusing I didn't know what or how to use it. No guidance to show. Also couldn't change the color splash to use. When I tried to use color on the black and white it was a circle I couldn't do any fine touches it would just undo the whole spot.
