Colorado Roads

App hasn't been updated in more than 2 years. The detailed road info is mostly just Denver metro & about 1/2 of I-70. I-25 is pretty much ignored. The road-condition & construction info does seem to update on the map, but the map says it "can't Google read maps correctly" & "for demonstration purposes only." Without the road-condition info on the map, the app would be completely useless, & it's pretty bad as it is.

This app can't be made any more useless for driving on other roads than the interstates. The maps don't work so you can't navigate to other routes. The alerts don't identify what road they apply to until you click on each individual alert. This app actually used to be useful, but is a waste now. No stars would be accurate.

This app has gotten worse, nearly impossible to get other areas and highways of the state other than I70 and I25. Cameras and info do not come up anymore. We travel mostly southern colorado and would like this information. The old app, you could pick which highway you would like, now cannot get that option. Its better to use the actual webpage on my phone than this.

I expected better from CDOT. There are so many places to look, you can't figure out where to find where the closures are. When you find the master closure list, it's called Alerts, and it just says closure closure closure, without showing which road is closed. Then when you open one, it just says the name of the road, without indicating where that road is closed. It's useless. I'm deleting it.

The app only really has one job to do, display a map so I can browse traffic cams. It won't load Google maps and has become quite useless. The safety of the thousands of people who rely on this app seems important to me but must not matter to the makers if CO roads. They have been getting single star reviews since August on this issue and it still doesn't work.

This used to be a good app but it doesn't work properly anymore. I loved it for the map feature which is awful now. It actually tells you that it won't work right!! At least the cameras are accessible. I wish someone would focus on improving it but until then I guess I'll use it as is for a little valuable information.

The map doesn't work half the time and usually never in the northern part of the state. it's nice that they list road closures, but what would make it nicer is maybe if they would say which roads are closed. maybe they could learn something from Wyoming's app. this app is extremely clumsy with only half information if you can even get that.

This app will NOT work with current version of Android, per a message received when removing and re-installing. CODOT needs to get with it and fix that problem. I sent a message to the address provided to developer Address doesn't exist. Smh.

One star since 0 stars is not an option. The map related functions ( display of precipitation, signs, and cameras) have stopped operating months ago. Yet no apparent attempt to repair or maintain the app. Last upgrade was in 2017. A good example of our taxes at work.

This has never been very usable, now it won't even open and.load at all. You would think that the State of Colorado would invest in an app that gives drivers real time information about weather and road closures. Might help people make I formed decisions on being on the roads and decrease congestion in hazardous conditions!

The traffic map does not work at all. It does not load properly. I can't see any traffic cams anymore and that makes the app truly useless. Not worth an install. Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has a much, much better app! Take a lesson from them!

This used to be a great app, but it's clear they have not updated it in a very long time and it no longer works. I have been using COtrip Planner and that one works great and seems to work even better than this one. Lots of info.

Can't load Google Maps and there's no alternate option available. Isn't up to date and this app only gives alerts for the Denver area. FYI there are many more places in Colorado than the Denver metro area. Maybe cotrips should get out of the city once in a while?

Worst app ever. Has been for years. Have to use other sites to know if roads are closed. Sitting in a blizzard, in traffic, at a closed pass, app says green good conditions all along the I70 corridor... In a blizzard! Not sure why it's even in the app store, they don't update it. It's been this bad for decades. CDOT should be embarrassed

The app's completely useless it won't load a map it just pops errors. The fact that there's way more to the state of Colorado then just Denver especially when there's the huge construction project going on in the 25 Gap right now but never mind that since this app only cares about Denver. Whoever created it obviously hadn't stepped foot outside of the city limits and clearly doesn't care about anybody who doesn't live in Denver.

Cameras don't work anymore. The cameras were really good for visually determining the road conditions, since road condition reports are generally not very accurate. Maps don"t work either. Now the app is pretty much useless. Please fix.

I'm a truck driver and used to rely on this app for updated traffic info, closures, chain law info etc... It is no longer reliable, is never accurate or updated and that's if you can even get the app to work in the first place. Very disappointed in the drastic decline of this once useful app.

I was hoping this app would be much like to cotrip web site but it is really lacking. The only road they really have any info on is I-70 and some info for I-25. I downloaded this hoping to be able to view road conditions for northern I-25 & 287 but the app is not developed to include those. So if your in northern Colorado and want to keep an eye on road closures and conditions for any of the northern Colorado highways forget about using this app. Very disappointed!

this app is completely awful, it is nearly impossible to figure out where chain and traction laws are in place. it is next to impossible to find out what the actual road conditions are especially for truckers. we need a lot more information about the conditions and where they're at milepost and which direction they are north east south and west. PS I use this app and travel in the state of CO 7 days a week. this app also contributes to road rage due to the fact that the information is terrible!

I would like the app to go back to the old way of showing road conditions. With the old app you could select the highways you wanted to look at for road conditions. Make it similar to the webpage for Colorado for road conditions, just like it used to be. Thank you

Update: Reinstall did not help..... Am trying a reinstall. You can get info from across the state, but you have to know where to click. Maps show in development mode ...dark grey, very difficult to read.

This used to be good. This year it is inaccurate. For example i70 is currently closed but the trip travel times still show green with good speeds. Elsewhere in the app it shows 70 closed. This is now useless

Error that the app will not load Google maps. Often can't open cameras. What happened to this once useful public service. Is there a new app? Decreased rating to 1 as this app become more and more unuseful. No update in 2 years? Not the tech savvy image Denver would like to portray.

This app worked great for a long time, even with the buggy 'developer app' overly from Google. For the last two weeks though, none of the map icons have worked, so you can't get any camera shoes, or roadsign info.

App doesn't work at all. Get a message saying it was made for an older version of my operating system. Emailed the developer and it came back "address not found". Unbelievable that in the year 2021 there is a state in the US without a function app. Get this garbage out of Google Play
