ColorBlindness SimulateCorrect

This is only for severe forms of color blindness. I have a moderate form of deuteranomaly (green deficiency), but this app doesn't have settings for that. It would be cool if the app had a sliding bar to scale the severity of color blindness.

It's good but can u add traitomaly coz thats what i have and my friends wants to see what it looks like

Omg. I have been trying to explain to my family and friends how I see greens. I have deuteranopia color blindness. I do have a slightly wider spectrums of reds, but I cant tell the difference when i turn the camera to side by side normal and color blind view. My family and friends were dumbfounded when they saw my world. Lmao but I'm soooooo glad that they know, understand and can see how I see.

I am so happy I found this app! My 10 year old is color blind and this allows me to see the world the way he does. It's fun for both of us and allows me to better understand why he likes certain things more than others, particularly clothing choices. I'm in the graphic design field and have above average color vision myself, so while it saddens me a bit that he can't appreciate color, this app helps me understand his vision and sparks some interesting conversations.

I use this app to help me identify green conductors in various types of low voltage cables. It is a life saver for me, but I can't emphasize enough how frustrating it is that I often can't get the camera to focus on what I need to have it focus on. Especially when the lighting is somewhat low, and I have to focus on something close-up, I am frustrated by the camera not focusing consistently. The camera in my Note 4 is very good, but not with this app. I've experienced the same problem with my Galaxy S5, too

This could be a good app if the developer would update it to check the camera sensor orientation and adjust accordingly. As it is, the view on a Nexus 5X is inverted, making it difficult to use to evaluate (for example) the image. Developer says this has been addressed in the latest version. Not sure if it's ok on the Nexus 5X as I've since upgraded to a Pixel, where it does currently work fine. Very handy for verifying that a given data visualization will be acceptable for your colorblind audience.

Wow . I nevr really minded though . Except now I'll know blue from green . Purple from Brown and orange ,red and pink will no longer be the same like blue and green are haha thank you

Well made and easy to switch type of blindness by tapping left corner. Though I would prefer the company logo to not be constantly visible (passive advertising). Touch it and a web page is launched, which is ripe for mis-clicks.

I took color vision tests at two websites and got strong protanopia at 8:30. At 9 o'clock I installed this app, and the smallest app on the phone made the largest change to my body!! It doubled as the $600+ spectacles. I am finally able to beat Ishihara at least :D (maybe one day i'll be able to see the rainbow too :D)

This is a terrific app. Previously, when friends/strangers learned I am colorblind, it was always stupid questions like "what does it look like to you?" and "what color is this?" Now I just show them this app, and without fail they are completely amazed at how I see the world. I also learned, thanks to this app, that apparently human skin looks "zombie-like" to me when my normal color vision friends use it to look at people. Maybe that's a part of why I'm attracted to certain women and not others.

This app does not do spectral frequency manipulation, so it does not work for the common anomalous forms of colour blindness such as protanomaly or deutanomaly. This makes it useless if you have these. If the app included facilities to make spectral frequency manipulation adjustments, it would be excellent.

I just installed this for my colorblind friend and he passed a colorblind test for the first time in his life. Now all he needs is a VR headset. :P

I love this app it has helped me to see purple for the first time but im still wondering what im going to do since most job options are gone... keep up the good work

I'm deuteranomalous, but this app only shows extreme cases of color blindness. Sorry, but Colorblind Vision is my Top Pick.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but to no avail. Hope this gets fixed, seems like a great app.

Great app. The only thing I would like is to be able to adjust how bad the color blindness is. You can adjust the intensity of the correction, but not the other screen. My son is 61% color blind and I'd like to see the world the way he does.

Excellent app! The best colourblindness simulation/correction I've seen. I've learnt so much about what colours things are!

Concept and execution both are great. Let's people see the world from the eyes of a colour-blind person. Nice tool for accessibility testing as well

Name and tag line are misleading: this only simulates and corrects dichromacy, which is much rarer than protanomaly or deuteranomaly (but also more severe).

This app did not correct or fix my colorblindness at all. Glad it was free!
