I have one issue with this app. I couldn't get the BT from my Samsung J7 Skypro to connect. Then I restarted the phone and it connected fine. Then if I close the app and try to reconnect it won't. The only way to reconnect is to restart the phone. I have tried deleting the app and reloading, but the same thing. My phone connects fine to 4 or 5 other BT devices. My version is 1.3.2 as listed on this site. I have also tried unpairing on the phone and repairing, but still the same thing. The floor lamp does work as advertised.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about..maybe they got a bad bulb. I have Google home and several wifi plugs and Bluetooth devices in my home. I turn on the light bulb, opened the app and it connected instantly and every function worked perfectly. Dimming, colors, random color, change to music..all of them work and have no problem connecting to the bulb each time I use it.

The app does not have an effective Dimmer for any given color. There is a limited ability within a small range to make dimmer, but that function fails to be sufficient. It is not really even a dimmer. More like it changes the color to dimmer shade of color. Not a dimmer of the given color. Terrible defect in software.

Need an update on this app. The light is expensive and dev team need to figure out the connection timeout issue with mobile device. Even remove and rescan the device showed up but can't connect to it. Some phone can connect and works, and some connects works then never able to work again. Please fix the issues.

This worked great!... Once... Then it worked great for my wife!... Once. Then it never connected again, always giving a timeout issue. And always requested more access than it would ever reasonably need to do the job. Giving it that access didn't make it work though. What a cool lamp made useless by a bad app.

Very bad app, you buy a lamp for 50$ ,u expect it to turn on for you whenever you need it . Evey time I use the app, it says connection time out and have to re scan it . You really have to fix this issue. The default light is not at ideal illumination for me so I have to use the app every day that I use the light.

Used to work, but no longer connects to the lamp, which makes my lamp and this app useless. I am running a Pixel XL with Android 10. It can find the lamp when doing a "scan", but will not "connect" to it. Lamp is stuck on the color I set it to weeks ago.

Needs an update. Cant have multiple people connected to it so you have ask everyone who has control of light and can they close they're app so you can make it bright or not on an color. Has trouble connecting. If i knew it was going to be this difficult I wouldnof chosen a different light. Dont recommend the light or this app.

App stopped working. My light was stuck on low brightness. However when I installed it on my tablet it connected once but connection timed out after. Luckily I was able to the change brightness during that one time and now have a useful light. Please update this app.

Worked when I first installed the app when I got the light, now it's never worked since.... It will see the light to add it when I scan, but anytime I try to click it, I get a "connection timeout!"message..... This was a waste of $80.00.....

The app fails to connect to the light half the time, and the light randomly changes colors without telling it to, to specifically red. The color change issue only started happening since a few days ago and its creepy.

The app no longer connects to the Bluetooth light, so there is no way to control the lights. An app update is needed, or the Bluetooth receiver on their lights are bad, Please fix this!

Don't install this app ! Don't change your light color! Unless you want your floor lamp to remain on that color forever. The app won't reconnect to the damn light. At all. Clear the cache? Nothing Uninstall/reinstall? Nothing. Leave the lamp unplugged for a week? Still goddamn pink.

It functions well enough. Constantly have to delete and search for my light again on Bluetooth. "Connection Timed Out" but I can live with it.

SMS Permission ! SERIOUSLY ?This app requires permissions to SMS, Device ID, call info, all device storage, microphone, & your location (which it collects even after you've uninstalled the app !) under the pretense of app capabilities but it won't function if you don't allow these permissions. AVOID THIS APP. I'm going to donate the lamp that needs the app & buy one from a more reputable company that doesn't spy on me to sell the data mined personal info to anyone they wan ! You should too !!

It disconnects constantly from the lamp and makes you do the process of installing the app all over again. Otherwise it doesn't work. It's annoying

I have to disconnect and rescan for my lamp every time I want to turn it off/on or change colors. Update has been needed for nearly a year now.

Horrible App. Worked okay for about a week, then would require an unpairing and repairing to connect. Now it no longer connects, so I have an LED lamp stuck on one color. The lamp is "KuLight" brand, and should not even be sold with problems like this....

The app use to work last year an this year everytime I push on music or light colors it says connected then right away it disconnects and will not let me connect to the bluetooth where I can change color!

DO NOT BUY Doesn't ever want to connect. You'd think the software designers wouldn't be the ones who dropped or flunked out of software school. Smh. Edit: 5 weeks after my 1 star review and the connection issue STILL isn't fixed. I'm demanding a full refund of my purchase. Complete waste of money. Too bad people don't read reviews before buying. DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP.

After update the app will not connect to my lights. Says timed out, removed app and downloaded again, still does not work.

Used to work now just getting "connection timeout." No app support. Can't change lamp color so it's stuck on one dim color. Unfortunate because it did work.

Cant transfer app from phone to phone Worked great when I first connected it to my old phone. Got a new phone and now it keeps telling me the connection timed out.

Works about as well as a light app could work. A shake the light does not remember the last seeing, but that's nothing to do with the app.

can't create custom flashing. no matter what I try I cant get it to blink red and blue. I would like red, white, and blue but sadly my halos white look purplish. this app is good, but limited.

I bought a $90 floor lamp and this app doesn't want to connect to it half the time, you guys really need to fix this. Edit: It won't connect at all now. Can't even use my lamp.

I got it for my daughter's bedroom .Works perfectly on her old iPad. Can't get it to work on my Samsung Galaxy. The app is useless on my phone. 1 star!!!

Garbage! Pick a color you like because that will be the color your stuck with because the app will never connect again!

Light wont connect. Connection timeout messaging.ive reinstalled and unplugged multiple times and its still not working.

Update App! The app no longer connects to the lamp. Just times out. Please update so I can use this lamp that I've only had for three weeks.
