Colorist: Adult coloring book

Editing my review from before: I no longer have the connection issue and tried to color a picture and there are a nice selection of brushes and colors but here's the main complaint now: the undo button. It constantly undoes more than what you want it to and you lose a lot of progress. Very frustrating. It would actually be a good coloring app if this was fixed.

Just downloaded, and already experiencing issues. Undo button seems to undo several actions rather than just the last, and redo button does not work. Nice palettes, nice pictures, good tools and options, but very frustrating that I have to keep manually erasing and getting set back several actions when I try to use "undo." No way would I buy premium with an issue like that.

This is one of my most favorite coloring apps! The monthly charge for a subscription is extremely affordable compared to many others but has a wonderful selection of pages to color, beautiful color pallets, and the ability to choose brushes paint, crayon, & to make the colors gradient! I am very happy with this application. Thanks

was fun for about a week, but now anytime i open the app it says i have a "bad internet connection", even when the internet is working perfectly fine. not able to see my activity, and any picture i choose doesn't load. fix your app. edit: this bs app crashed my phone for a few seconds. couldn't get the screen to turn on after pressing the button. uninstalling this garbage.

Almost perfect. A Facebook account is necessary for keeping a profile. This is the one thing I really despise. No privacy from FB. If the developers change this to email only, 5 stars easily. There are so many choices to color and advertizing is not intrusive. Beautiful UI, flows well and language is intelligent. 1 comment aside: YOU SPELLED 'PURPLES' INCORRECTLY.

I have a lot of time for this app. The music, the pictures and the colours are all beautiful. This app helps pass the time. I have only one problem with this app, $73 for 6 month subscription? I paid it, but that was purely by accident. It asked me if I wanted to do a TRIAL and I clicked yes, under the impression that it was a free trial.... It wasn't, I straight away got a notification saying that I had paid $73!! Happy with everything else, it's just VERY expensive for only 6 months.

The free version is actually really good. Only complaint I have is that on some patterns, the whole thing fills with color. I like to choose the color I want for every single spot. Example: If a section of the picture has a triangle inside of a triangle, both triangles fill with the same color, rather than letting me make it 2 different colors. The only other thing, is that when someone likes my picture, I want to be able to go to their pictures to reciprocate, but when I try, nothing shows up.

Excellent app even the free version. Not sure why people whine about paying to get access to all the pages. May consider the premium in the future. The only issue I have is sometimes uncompleted works are not saved. I had to start over with these. Maybe an excellent add on would be a chat option with the members or where people can send direct messages.

I like the app, I've had it for years and haven't had many problems except for the one I'm having yet again where my phone is working absolutely fine with zero issues with other apps, yet everytime I open this one it says "bad internet connection" and nothing updates for days. No new pictures and it won't allow me to redo old ones because once you click, nothing loads. So far it's been a week, the last time it lasted for a month. It's beyond annoying

I love this app except for that you have to pay for everything!!! I love these types of apps but come on even a video for the free stuff... If your going to do a video unlock for the colors it should be for a time frame not one picture because if your app closes you lose that time and have to start all over again.. just saying. I can't see any other person's gallery nor can I like anything without paying, I also can't follow any one either. There is way to many restrictions on this app for the graphics to be as great as they are... too bad

It's still $50. You get a few decent & interesting free images. However, most quality & interesting images are behind the $50. Issue with the updated fixed. Thank you. Still think we should have the options to buy images, colors, & effects with diamonds. I get artists need to be paid but not everyone can afford to drop $50 on an app. What is it, every 3 or 6 months? I am not expecting free, just a better & more resonable price or options to buy single pages at a resonable price.

It was an awesome application until I didnt want to get charged $49.99 and attempted to cancel the trial membership. There was nowhere given to do so and when I attempted to select the "Contact Us" button, it literally did nothing. Whatever you do, don't get the trial or you'll be stuck paying. Yeah.... thanks for the reply. you clearly read my review and care so much. Allow me to be even more clear so that your small brain comprehends. I used the trial version ON PURPOSE. CANT CANCEL!!

Not worth the time. As much as I love the variety of color and the amount of free pictures, the app itself is incredibly laggy. Areas that you specifically clicked on to color in will remain blank, while an area that is nowhere near the area that is meant to be colored will be colored. If this issue were to be resolved, it would be one of the best coloring apps on the store.

(Org. Review)They push buying their service for 7.99 a week! There is no way to search for the "free" pictures so you have to see what you "could" have and he reminded they want you to pay. There are many amazing free apps and even at the *discounted* price (4.99 A WEEK) you could do better (Edit, post developer reply) I appreciate the two mediocre pictures you provide free but many other apps offer more without showing premium content that you can't have cause you don't want to drop 8 bucks on a coloring book. Beautiful pictures I'll never get to color cause I am cheap. Thank you for responding, I upped my rating to three stars cause you seem to genuinely want ppl to like/enjoy your app, but it's not in my price range (free)

Love the effects and variegated colors. And the sky set is great. The purples have too much pink though and the reds need more pinks and a real good deep burgundy shade. Not crazy about how dull some of the colors like the yellows show up.... There really should be some instructions on how to operate the so. Also, I got a supposed "free trial" for 14 days but it only unlocked stuff for one day and I'm back to being prompted to sign up for a free trial, moist pictures are locked for subscribers only, and constantly having to watch ads to access things like palettes or a new pic to color (that isn't starred). So I ask, what is the use of the subscription; which is outrageously priced I might add at a hefty $7.99 a WEEK! RIDICULOUS!

When I found this app I was over the moon so much better than most but then all the sudden it started saying bad internet connection I've tried uninstalling, force stopping the app nothing works. I have a 5G phone with good service and excellent wifi and the rest of my phone works great. I can only see and access a few pictures in each category if this isn't fixed soon I will be canceling my subscription

Looks like it has good options and lots of potential but I couldn't tell before installing the app that it would try to sell users an upgrade. Takes away from the relaxation aspect, I think. Then when I selected a piece I was interested in coloring, nothing happened. The screen went black, and that was that.

I'm having trouble using the app. I have never had problems until recently (7-5-2019). I open the app and the pictures are not showing up plus the ones I've already finished and posted. It says little or no connection. Retry. The problem with that is my phone is 4G and I also tried my WIFI. I also uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the same problems. Really missing the creativity. Please help.

One of the best color books I have found. I have various illnesses and don't do too well with regular books anymore. I think its just wonderful and takes care of coloring cravings lol. Def the best. Unfortunately I'll have to wait after the trial is up for a long while till I save my pennies🙄 for a full membership. If you are reading this and are looking for decent priced game that does what it promises...You found it!!

It's good, but it crashes a Lot. I've had to redo drawings multiple times. I am currently in the 3 day trial but it's 5.50 a WEEK after which I think is absolutely extortionately overpriced for what it is. Will not be subscribing and if it continues crashing and losing my progress I will be uninstalling.

This is a great concept and unique-the rating of 3 stars comes from the fact that the free artwork is very juvenile. There are only a handful of good images to experiment with unless you pay up for the premium version. Otherwise it's really creative.

I have had this app for 3 years at most and I love it so much it is one of my favorite and best coloring apps of Google Play store has but as of the month of May 2022 I have been experiencing bad internet connection notices there is nothing wrong with my internet works fine I called my internet provider they said everything was great I uninstalled/reinstall 3 times lost work reached out to the person who created the app no response back from them at all canceling my 3-day subscription trial😔.

I'm getting frustrated. I pay for premium and suddenly I'm getting a "bad internet connection" alert and none of the pictures will load. My internet connection is fine. This issue really needs to be addressed.

It was annoying to have a comment after every color I chose..and I don't like the tap one color in one place and it fills in other places..like eyes.. I have as much control as I had hoped.. Plus I dont like that I am immediately asked to sign up for the premium when I haven't even checked out the color pages.. That was a real turn off

I have had this app for about three years,absolutely love it, but I lost my job due to covid and can no longer afford to pay for the premium. I would have given it five stars but only being able to do the ones that are free is so frustrating because the really good pictures cost you but I still can find some I like.

I do enjoy the game. Love it. The only problem is, the app keep saying that i have bad connection. My connection is fine. I can open another app, stream movies, etc.

Waste of my time. After title screen it just goes white. Will play music but not load anything at all! I've updated, Uninstalled, closed out app completely. Nothing works! There are far to many coloring apps to deal with this! Uninstalling and sticking with Tap Color or Paint by number. If you can send me push notifications you should make sure the app actually works! Very dissatisfied.

So far this app is my favorite coloring app! The pictures are AMAZING! I love that u can publish ur own art 6x/day, & see other ppls artwork. My ONLY complaint is the quite HORRIBLY MURDEROUS hold music. I was SURE my ears were gna start to bleed. U shld update that asap. Plz & Ty! Some meditative rain, thunder storms or ocean waves(etc) wld be 1000x better. It sounds like creepy abandoned hotel elevator music & its kind of disruptive. It actually works against wht this apps intended use is. Thx

While I'm no fan of insane subscription prices for a glorified coloring book, which is what more and more of these apps are trending towards, I still like the free aspects of the app enough to rate it highly. This is a fun app to use and the different tools for coloring are an added bonus.

This app has the best effects of any that I've tried. Very nice pictures to choose from and they can be colored off line which is really great. Recommend this app if you lie more realistic pics versus cartoon type. These are more adult oriented which is hard to find. Love it!
