Rubbish time waste and idiotic app please I beg don't download this app
Used both versions. This COLOR FLASHLIGHT meets my needs, was the one I had before revised edition. I'm done comparing & have decided to keep the smaller app & uninstall the newer version. Both are very good. For me; the simpler, the better. Thank for creating the flashlights & making them available for free. Sorry. Guess I wrote my comment in the wrong area. No time for a "do over"
This app is always draining my battery. During the time when CM Security reports it as using a high amount of processing, the phone takes screen shots on its own, puts people on the ignore list and lags the phone so bad that I cannot make a call.
Need to use asap, and it's not loading fast enough! Keeps trying to bring up the stupid ads first, especially when you're not near WiFi! If it's using up my data amount, then I'm definitely going to be deleting the app. Will ask Verizon about this "issue" with other apps also.
For about a month I've been struggling with battery drain. After uninstalling all the "new" apps I'd downloaded in the last month and trying a re-boot and everything, I finally factory reset my phone. This was the ONLY app I downloaded after the factory reset. That's how I figure out this was the app draining my battery. I turned on the flashlight to use the restroom in the middle of the night. 2 minutes later I was back in bed and had lost 4% of my battery. Looking at the last update to this app, it's been about a month! Problem solved. This used to be a great app, I used it all the time. I've uninstalled it now. Sorry guys.
It used to work well on all of my old phones from 2012 to now. Ever since I got marshmallow update it won't work. Now my phone has a built in flashlight, so I'm using that. The only thing beside that which I liked in this app was using the screen light because I could dim it for middle of the night and early morning use. But, I'm gonna say goodbye now.
I downloaded about 10 or so flashlight apps below 500kb tonight just for kicks (and testing). All with only one permission: camera. Somehow this one escapes my attention. And lo! Flashlight app with ads/self-promotion, and with network permission, yuck. Two stars instead of one because the size is efficient. But no 5 stars like I'm giving the rest, boo hoo.
The flashlight on the back of my phone stopped working. Hasn't worked for a months. Uninstalling and getting something else. I used to really like it and it was useful, not anymore.
It's awesome because u don't have to pay wow and it always works so ur the people who should be popular k i love yall
I used to love this app, but it suddenly stopped working. It now crashes immediately when I try to open it on my Galaxy s7 Edge
It's great the light is bright and it has other things u can play with This app drains ur battery
When walking at night I use the blinking mode so cars see me.
Very helpful at night to go to car, read, & looking for things.
The different modes are great but the actual torch keeps changing its brightness depending on how dark the app deems it is, resulting in a continuously flickering light never quite bright enough and I couldn't find a way to turn it off.
Basically, this is one of the first flashlight apps I ever downloaded when I first started using an iPod touch, or a smartphone. & I thought it was funny to run down the hallway at my college holding it in my hand acting like I was a police officer using the flashing red and blue effect. Just an idea. . .
Not working anymore Had to remove this app as it completely stopped working on my Samsung s5.
I can't get the white light to change to a red light. I see red on the face of my Android phone but it's still casting a white light through the lens. :(
Ads goes off after 5 seconds. Best app.
Perfect for those dark spaces, when you need a flashlight and don't have one. Almost everyone has their phone nearby or with them. Plus w/ the limited access required, unlike other apps that require access to personal information, contacts, etc.. this app doesn't require it.
I only needed a flashlight, so I didn't use all of the rest of the features. Now that android 5 has a flashlight built-in, I no longer need this app.
It opens much quicker than the hd version, because it does less and is smaller/lighter. I just want it to be a flashlight. Plus, it seems to do pretty much everything the other one does.
It's probably not what I Imagined but cool and has nice shades of colors
I don't use it much, but it's great to have wenn I need it.
I've been using this same flashlight on all of my smartphones since my very first one
Produces a nice glowing light with the screen instead of a harsh one from the LED.
Anyone that needs a light can make use of this app. Plus no ridiculous permissions needed.
Although this app is free, it's still a cool fun app that has good entertainment value.
Nagging for feedback. Here you are. Works but used to be better, less distractive.
