Awhile back I would give it 5 stars, it's a simple app and that's all I needed. Now I can't log in, every couple days it tells me my password is incorrect. So I reset it then it'll do it again, plus fix this bug and I'll change my rating back to a 5.

12/2018 Sometimes gets lost while doing a mobile deposit. Hangs after pictures are complete and should be uploading them. Try again later with same result. Support says delete app and reload. I chose not to as I had latest version already and used it a week ago... try again later and it works . Go figure. An annoyance is that the "enter" button is relatively close to the "lost password" button; have hit it accidentally a few times. (use back button, or you are forced to change pw).

Works great for checking my balance and helping me to keep my finances straight. Account activity shows up immediately, so I always know that the balance I see is what I actually have. There are other services offered through the app, but I have yet to utilize them. Bill pay looks pretty legit, though. Columbia Bank is my favorite bank I've ever been with! You guys are awesome!

Maybe it's just my PC and phone, but for some reason, nothing actually fits on the screen. I am constantly having to shuffle things around on the main screen. That's note user friendly or user comfortable interaction. When I wrote code for a Oregon county information service's department, we had a standard format that everyone in the department adhered to. This way users could log in and feel "warm and fuzzy" so to speak. Much less stressful to the user.

This is very useful, however more access to payment info would be helpful. Easy to transfer money between accounts instantly.

This app used to work fine until I updated it. Since then it will rarely allow me to log in. I'm able to get in sometimes, maybe 1 out of every 10 attempts if at all. Constantly says "unable to reach server". Very frustrating when you need to keep track of your finances. I may consider finding a new bank if I cant access my account online. Would be a shame because I like the bank.

It is a very good app, and I really don't have anything bad to say about it. There is one area I wish was a little better on the app specifically versus the webpage, and that is the bill pay, in the browser I can see Ebills that are due and the amount. In the app I am unable to see this information so I end up having to go to my computer in order to pay bills, I would love to see this portion improved, otherwise, I am extremely happy with the app.

Update. Since updating the app it would no longer load. Would open up and then immediately close. I had to delete the app, restart my phone, and do a clean reinstall. Works fine now. Other than this glitch it's been a great app. Makes online banking from any location a breeze. Love the mobile deposits feature.

Transactions randomly disappear and reappear, making it impossible to know how much money you actually have in your account. The whole damn point of having an app to log into is to not have to constantly do math and memorize your balance at all times. I don't know if I want to trust my money with a bank that can't even design an app that works right in 2019.

4-12-20 update. New samsung S20 phone. I installed the app and it worked one time. To get it to work after that I have to Uninstall and reinstall to login. After the 1st time it will never login again. Stupid, stupid app! after my last phone update the app will no longer work. it dies after attempting to login. i reported it almost a month ago and still no fix. really bad!

This app is not good. After they did an update in October of 2021, I could no longer view my accounts on the app. I couldn't see the balance or see my transactions. Now that works, but the app won't take pictures of the checks that I want to deposit. The camera button won't work. This is NOT a good app.

The mobile deposit process needs some work! It has gotten better over the past few years but the camera settings get weird and I have to reposition my phone so many different ways and when I think it will not accept my check, it does!! Please fix the photo taking portion! But LOVE the app overall!

This used to be a great app, until I purchased a new Samsung phone. Now I can't even log on. I contacted tech support. And they walked me through deleting my cache in the app and other settings. Then it worked only one more time after that. I contacted them again and was told that " oh there are certain new Samsung phones that is doesn't work on", just log on through the web browser instead. Maybe I'll just change banks!

Typical garbage bank app. Half the time it doesn't work. Tells me my network may be slow, regardless of being in cellular or WiFi. Used to be reliable but the past couple months they must have hired some three year olds to maintain the app. When it does work, it does what it is supposed to do.

This app sucks! It frequently will not load and features don't function when it does. If you call the help line all you get is the "did you try reinstalling the app?" response. I am one who does the majority of my banking through the app, so to not have it work is very frustrating. On top of that Columbia Bank needs to update their ATMs to accept cash and check deposits.

Security concerns. I use biometric login to access my account. If I cancel biometric login on the app, I'm still able to access my account through automatic password pop-up. That is a real threat if I lose my phone and someone picks it up before I can find another phone to clean or cancel my phone's internet access.

Keeps getting worse! Fingerprint access DOES NOT WORK-FREEZES APP every single time you attempt to use it. Horrifically slow, extremely basic and the menu is frustratingly confusing. Takes 36 hours to deposit mobile checks. The first banking app I had in 2008 was faster, more advanced and streamlined than this.

I love Columbia Bank and usually love the app but the new upgrade SUCKS. I cannot see any of my account information, it's just blank. It was down for maintenance yesterday so I thought it would get fixed but it didn't. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still nothing works. Very frustrating.

This app is truly annoying. It constantly makes me put in my info again after I save it to my device. I have to do the verification over and over again because of this issue. For the last 3 weeks it wouldn't allow me to login from my phone and it won't let my husband login or save to his phone. Please fix your app.

Not working, cant log in for 2 months with username and password, cant log in with fingerprint scanner. Have to manually log in directly through website. They say it's my galaxy phone but I've had the same phone years. Been told a number of times they are working on it but still an issue. Makes banking really time consuming.

i use the app daily! its so convenient to have my money spending listed in my phone. there is never any questions on if I've overspent or do i have enough, because i can just look. transferring money into my savings account so i Don't accidentally spend it is so nice and easy too, i can even put notes on it to remind me why i moved money at a later date. this app doesn't bug down my phone and is 95% of the time available (maintenance happens though). overall, i recommend this app.

Very convenient... also helps me save money each paycheck. I get direct deposit and every Friday I would tell myself that I need to transfer money to savings... never did... with this app I set up automatic transfer.

Mobile deposit needs lots of work. Capturing acceptable endorsement-side image of check is nearly impossible. App camera only wants to focus on middle of check, where nothing significant is available to focus on. Image starts off in focus, then after tapping screen to take photo, blurs.

i have always had excellent results with this app until recently. i can no longer log in. i have sent reports with no fix or communication from tech support. unfortunately i will have to go back to the dark ages and uninstall. i have hoped for better results with a banking app.

Been using this App for years. Very simple and easy to surf. I love the ability to move/transfer your money to your different account. The tech support is amazing. Very helpful and willing to help to correct the problems.

The last few days the app opens and then quickly shuts down. Can't see what I need to keep track of. Very inconvenient!!!! Can't even log on at all. Hope this issue is a top priority for Columbia to fix.

App is ok unless you want to use mobile deposit. Uploading check images takes a very long time, and that's when it works. because usually I just get a notification stating that I've exceeded my daily limit.... which makes no sense. I'm not sure why I even try. Just faster for me to go to the branch to deposit

This app is so bad it makes me consider changing banks. Full of bugs. I cannot submit mobile deposits anynore. Constantly logs me out after the app freezes while using it. I don't trust it to move my money around because of how unstable it is. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.

The app is glitchy a lot and it doesn't have everything available on it. For instance, you can't access POP money transfers which I use frequently. It's also pretty slow to load once you sign in.
