Awful experience. Took too long. Recognition is awful. Picture window does not line up with check. Had to reenter same information multiple times.
Still horrible app.. Way too long to process check. The camera shutter sounds are obnoxious and you can't turn them off. Came over from Atlantic Stewardship Bank and this apps capture technology is horrible in comparison. Also to add to the pain is the fact that after the images are submitted it takes in upwards a 15 to 20 seconds for the deposit to go through. At this pace I might get done at midnight... Please FIX. Thank you!
Way too many reentries required. Cannot get through a small (2 -3) batch of checks without getting a message to check something. Neither of the other banks I use have ever done such a thing.
Mobile check deposit takes longer with this app vs my other bank. Always a problem with taking a picture, asking me to check a perfectly good picture. I may as well drive to the bank it takes the same amount of time. A few months later asked to edit this review and I feel the same way. Takes tooooo looooong.. taking off a star since nothing has improved.
Simple and straightforward. The addition of external transfers to other banks is greatly appreciated
Love the app but the mobile deposit feature is very stubborn. Pictures have to be absolutely perfect. It is highly sensitive to lighting, focus, etc. Often takes a long time before it will accept a check photo for deposit
Aside from having to start over because the app didn't recognize that the amount on the check matched, and then didn't recognize my name on the check (written in "flowery" script), the app works very well and is a lifesaver when I can't get to the bank!
Very simple to use for someone who grew up with manual typewriters.
I love the way I can maintain my finances and Pay my bills. This app is very easy to use!
I can't really say much about the app, as I cannot use it. Every time I attempt to log in, I get a notification telling me that I can't login at that time. The application was supposed to send me a confirmation email, but never did. I'm a little suspicious of the app because my account numbers are on it, but I can't access them.
The check deposit feature often glitches and keeps asking me to check the amount and date, then says it has to be written to signer on the account....it is. This is really annoying. It goes on for hours or days, this should be fixed by now...get it together, Columbia.

Mobile deposit makes my life easier. I don't always have time to go to the bank; I'm always on the move.
After getting text message for confirmation there is no place to enter it.
To verify 2nd step verification the app thinks my cell phone is my home phone. I had to use my home phone and it's keypad to complete verification. Also it takes too long to take a check picture.
I corrected the mobil deposit 2x and still the system deposited the check into the wrong account! I had to go into the account and transfer the funds into the correct account! I won't use the mobil deposit again until the i.t. fixes it.
the app is mostly reliable and functional but the check deposit process did not spark joy. was forced make sure the pictures were legible about three times.
Not at all easy to take pictures of the check. The alignment never comes out right. The worst app for check deposit ever.
Won't let me sign in with my information that I know is right. Correct those glitches and I'm sure this is a top app. Like that I can store it on my SD card.
Mobile check deposit in not smooth and more often than not, makes you review data/pics multiple times or flat out fails. The rest of the app works as it should.
My rating can change. But that's up to the bank. Unacceptable service at this time. No new checks sent. Can't get through to customer service by phone for 2 weeks now.
This app rounds out wonderful services provided by Columbia Bank. It is easy to use and provides me with instant access to manage my money. Love it!
Mobile deposit doesn't work, its very annoying taking a million pictures thinking it will work just to get the same notice that its not clear when it is.
Had to try too many times before it accepted the check. Last check I tried same size same company I could not get it to accept took it to the bank for deposit and because I had written Mobile deposit they held me there for 20 minutes to verify it.
Works well with the features that are available to use. Cannot do all functions like on the website.
Bill pay takes much longer to process than most.
I was prompted to retake a photo of the check several times because the images were deemed unclear or illegible when I could clear see the images taken. I'm not sure if it was a glitch or not but the amount of time and inconvenience this cost me make me question whether I will use this option in the future. This certainly was not convenient!
