Combo Translator

This is the best translator app I've used. Most apps I've used never pick up handwriting, but if the handwriting is clear enough, it does occasionally pick up. It NEVER seems to read pictures with only one word. It has to be a full sentence. For example, it won't read 雨 from a picture when it's by itself. If I take a picture of 「そうそう、今日は雨です！」it will most likely read. I know it's a robot and not a real person translating, so it's obviously not going to be perfect. It's pretty good for a robot.

Damn good application, I am learning Arabic but I use this to translate a book I want to read and am not ready for, with other apps and dictionaries, but I need this more than anything to compare possible translation of whole sentences, as each app usually gives different results, you can get a sense of what is said before you translate it accurately, word by word. I'd be lost without it, although I need it less and less, I would use it if I were fluent, because it is very easy. 1 of a kind.

When I first downloaded this application it was awesome. You did not have to pay money to download languages and the only free language is English, rendering this totally useless. Don't waste your time with this application, better to just use Google and Microsoft separately. This is the only application that gets worse over the years, in my experience. Updates actually make it worse and worse, again and again.

Great app; my favorite translator to use when checking my Spanish syntax since I can't get so many translations at once with any other app, however I paid the $14.01 for the full features, which is quite steep for what the app does, and I can understand why some are frustrated by the limitations of the free version. The UI leaves much to be desired, is a bright white and lacks any customizable settings. I would like to see more UI updates considering the money that I paid.

this is the only app that the ocr worked with camera shots of Chinese characters from 10 I tried. it uses several online translators to give a better overview of what the the ocr has discovered and provides an option to export results. ads drive you crazy but for a one off product manual translation its was worth putting up with.

I paid for the full version without ads. Used to work very well. I used the voice and camera translation a lot. Mow they made the voice and camera translation separate apps and the in app voice and camera app no longer work. It asks to buy the new apps when I had already paid for these features before. I feel cheated

Every time I want to take a picture to translate, it says to enable the camera and storage permissions. They are already enabled. Edit: thank you so much for fixing it. The actual translator is not bad. I like how it shows multiple translators, although some never work.

Translation apps are only as good as the people doing the input - unfortunately this app is poor (at times even impolitely inaccurate) when it comes to Thai into English. Would recommend the designer(s) of the app withdraw their English to Thai service, until they consult with qualified translators.

Very clear and easy to use, and ads are short so no need to really pay for full. Highly recommend. I used this on screen shots to translate manga names and it worked perfectly.

It's pretty much useless for Japanese characters. If you use a picture it won't recognize them and comes back with a bunch of random symbols and says the language is Hungarian or Polish. Please don't waste your money to buy this app

Amazing and very useful Thank you so much, it is a good idea to add auto detect language, Text reading and copy option, i mean the text that i need to translate.

since the new upgrade i am not able to skip ads, whenever ad pop up and it finishes app stucks and i have to restart it , pls fix this bug

This app is absolutely good I ever tried, but there are lots of ads and I think they should extend trials day from 03 to 30 days for offline searching.

Don't waste your time and data by downloading this app. 1. No offline translations without payments. 2. Adds after every seconds. More more useless.

Yandex english to arabic translation in this app is different from that in yandex translate official site. I would have rate it five stars if that mistake had been fixed !

Total garbage!! This app is so loaded with adds, impossible to get anything done!! 👎 don't waste your time.

the option to translate picture doesn't work, don't bother with this app.

rubbish app usles and no translation at all . for example if you write eggs to all other languages eggs is eggs lol app

Does not pronounce the translated word. google translate pronounces the translated word.

First test translation and all I got was a message demanding premium - uninstalled.

Camera feature requires paying. Why not just mention it from the start.
