ComEd’s FREE mobile app allows customers to report their outage and check the restoration status right from their smartphone. Customers can also receive notifications as their outage status is updated and view the ComEd outage map for more details regarding their outage, such as the estimated time of restoration, crew status and probable cause of the outage. In addition to the outage reporting functionality, customers can view their account summary and history, manage Budget Billing and automatic payments, report a meter reading, and find a payment location. Customers will also be able to make a one-time payment through the app. The app will make it easy to manage more than one account at a time; customers can access up to five residential accounts through the mobile app.

It was pretty good the first time around, but I don't know what happened since then. I enjoyed the biometric way to sign in, but now I never see it. And then when I do, it's once in awhile. Then I will have to do the two part authentication to sign in. I also wish as the app to pay for the People's energy, I could be able to add another person's bill to help them pay!!!

I'm not particularly fond of the recent update. If I wanted to pay my bill through a link to my browser I would. The app is just as useless as using the USPS app right now. This app used to work just fine until someone had to monkey with things that were already working just fine. Why try to reinvent the wheel? Having it is supposed to be a convenient solution to access your account and not jump through many hurdles to get there. The biometrics have also stopped working. Not a happy camper.

For me, The ComEd app is easy to use. You can see your bill, make payments on line, make payment arrangements, and edit/change the amount that you want/can pay. I, for one, really like the app.

The app was working great for me until the last update. I can't view any bill data in the app. I just get a screen that says 'unable to retrieve data'. I also can't pay my bill in the app. The website already isn't working for me, but I at least had the app. Now, I don't even have that to use. So I have to wait until my bill comes in the mail to view my data, and I have to call to pay my bill. What's the point of an app if it doesn't work?? Very Frustrating...

This app is a pointless download. Save your time and just go on the website, that's all this app is basically anyway, a portal to their website. Except it's buggy and not as efficient. You'll be more frustrated with this app than spending the time going directly to the website.

If I could give the ComEd app and negative five star I would! The app used to work perfectly, now it takes you to an online sign in this practically impossible to sign into in that always tells me that my sign in is wrong. I reset my password and it's constantly thinking then when I try to sign in it once again tells me my password is wrong! As big of a company as ComEd is you think they could do a little bit better on her app and customer service. Practically impossible to pay your bill.

When entering a new payment method and saving to your wallet, the app will freeze and kick it out not saving that information. But when you log back in, it makes it seems like you were right where you left off. So you submit payment. Not knowing you just submitted a payment using your last method not the one you currently saved. You think everything is OK, until you realize you paid the wrong way and it's too late. This happened to me twice, on different phones with different carriers.

Trying to access application, keep getting pop up that 'there's a newer version of the app in the app store', but when I navigate to the apps page in app store to update, it says the app is up to date and the only option is to open or uninstall. When I click open, it loops back to the same 'there's a newer version of the app available click here to update'. This has happened the last 3 months in a row. Never had so much trouble trying to pay my bill with any other utility company I've used.

Unable to download bill until the next forecasted bill is available. Not sure why the two are connected. Download gives error for 7 days until the next forecast is available. Aside from that, everything else works great.

App was working fine. Ever since the latest update I can't login. Forces you to use a 2 part authentication, which is great for security, but forces browser to open. Quickest fox would be to incorporate the authentication screen onto the ComEd App. Forcing the app to open a browser, cache the clearance and then force open the comed app again, apparently is beyond the scope of how the app was built. Just build the authentication into the application itself. Archaic & Antiquated system for sure.

Quick and easy to navigate! Had to make pymt thru app (which I've never done) because my home WIFI was down. Pymt was made and confirmed within a minute!

Since the update the app does not function nor can I log in online. The app keeps kicking me out and everything I try to do doesn't work. I have updated, Uninstalled, reinstalled, and still nothing is working. This is very frustrating because I would like to pay my bills. 2/22/22 I tried to do what was suggested; however, the app still does not work. Ever since the change the app has been useless.

This app is unusable. It will not accept my password, stating that updates require greater complexity passwords (despite no such warning when using the web browser login). The kicker is that when I type my current password into the "change password" complexity checker, it is green with checks on *all* of the "requires 3 security features" list items. So 1 star. More if you let customers log in.

Comed supports and care for their customers. They help you the best way possible. I appreciate comed. The app was working perfectly fine until the update now the comed page won't load up. It's just loading. Fix this bug please.

This is an awful app, it took me 25min to sign in. Is this a pwa, it takes me to my default browser (Duck Duck Go), no error messages, just spinning after I sign in., I tried to copy and paste the url to Brave but it pushes me to default browser again, I copy/pastr that back to Brave and get an error (no js), then I go through the whole thing a sixth time (two url transfers each browser) and the web site uses non-standard usr, p/w entry and won't let my password manager to auto fill, awful

Update, originaly updated from the play store. Deleted it and reinstalled too, still doesn't let me sign in. Used it all the time. But since I was forced to update. I can't even sign in. Not just annoying and inconvenient, but defeats the purpose of even having the app.

I HATE this updated ComEd app so much! I loved the previous version(s) because it provided the option to enable/disable the fingerprint option to login to the app instead of using the password, but this updated version has removed the fingerprint option and now when I login, it takes me outside of the app to the website to login using my email and password, then reroutes me back to the app and takes me to my account. I'm very disappointed about this. Why did you remove the fingerprint option?

Having problem signing in. In February I didn't have a problem, Keep sending me back to the authentication page. Tried signing in with finger print still send me back. Finally gave up and paid through bill pay with my bank. It was so easy before. Please fix problem. Loved looking at my account at a glance.

This app literally doesn't work at all on Android 12, login page doesn't load, even the url copied into a browser window just spins endlessly, same happens when visiting the Comed site and trying to reach the login/payment page from my phone. The MS azure service that's supposed to handle this exchange isn't working, and I always have to pay via a laptop.

Comed increased security and added 2fa. However they haven't figured out that other 2fa apps don't ask you for email and password everytime their app is opened! I have tried to perform the steps as suggested in the workaround - no luck yet.

I haven't been able to access the app for almost a month now. It keeps telling me my account has been temporarily locked try again later. It has been a month have called customer servicem Maybe I can get better results writing a review not complaining or bad mouthing Comed. Love the service just would love to be able to access the app.

Comed or comcast who's worse. Update -2 stars. App Is worse now. Pure garbage. Only works when power is on. Puts you in a login nightmare loop and never opens up. Just makes you try over and over. You guys should fire whoever created the app. Absolutely useless in an outage.

Unable to log in, I keep ending all my info, asks me to enter code for 2step verification, no way to bypass it. Enter the code error message keeps popping up. It's frustrating. I see that people having been having this problem for over a month now. Will this be fixed?

Looks like anyone complaining about app, can no longer post huh?? ITS BEEN 2MONTHS THAT THE APP NOR ONLINE IS WORKING & ALL WE GET IS THE SAME 2 MONTH EXCUSE, "RE-INSTALL APP & WAIT A MINUTE TO LOG IN"! SMH!! CANT EVEN LOG IN FROM A DESKTOP!!! GET IT TOGETHER!!
