This app is horrible on Android. No pop-up view or anything that let's you play without full concentration. Content is great.

It's just okay. I mean every single one I go to watch there's got a key on one of the episodes like say there's 10 seasons on another those 10 seasons I can only watch two episodes if I'm lucky out of each season because there's locks on the seasons lock on EVERYTHING! IT HAS BEEN PAID FOR. I NEED HELP OTHERWISE I HAVE TO JUST CONTINUE THE COMEDY CENTRAL STATION AND APP. AND SAYS BY CUSTOMER EXCUSE ME BUT I'M VERY UNSATISFIED. I HAVE BEEN FOR MONTHS BUT I STILL HAVE NO ANSWER.

Love Comedy Central. Hate the app. Lots of programs to choose from and classic content as well. Be prepared to sit through 20 minutes of ads per episode. Happy I bought DVD's of my favorite shows. Streaming should not be such a burden.

Need a worthless cable subscription. Makes the app worthless. I'll just find it for free online instead.

Great selection of shows. However the functionality is poor. The app itself has several flaws that lead to frustration. If you are on your cell data and you drop service for a even a second the episode kicks back to the previous commercials and makes you watch them again. The only way to "rewind" or "fast-forward" is to manually drag the bar at the bottom which is not easy to be precise. There is also no search option. If more effort went the fine details this could be so much better.

This app is pretty much garbage! While it does let you watch shows, there is no apparent way to search for a show; you have to scroll through every show Comedy Central has ever made and hope you don't overlook what you're looking for. And if that wasn't bad enough, it disconnects from Chromecast regularly during playback; the Chromecast integration is very poorly implemented. Another example: A show might start playing on your phone when you select Chromecast and then it may, or may not, actually play on Chromecast while also playing on your phone at the same time. This is not a problem with Chromecast because I have not encountered it on any other app.

I agree with others...the selection is great. The experience is extremely disappointing and frustrating. I've tried several times to watch the Bruce Willis and Alec Baldwin roasts and have been successful in watching like the first 5 mins before it freezes up. Now when I try to go back and watch them I'm getting a black screen with "video not available"......WTH?? Same thing when trying to watch a South Park episode. Seriously, fix this thing so fans can actually enjoy it

This app is INFURIATING. You get 3-5 minutes of content and then 4 of the same ads and repeat. I already pay for the service, it is incredible that I still have to watch that many ads. The point of an ad is to make me want to buy the product, but I don't think I'll ever buy anything from any of these guys again. App is also buggy, occasionally videos don't unlock once you log in, and Chromecast streaming frequently bugs out so you have to force stop and restart the app.

I wanted to give this app the benefit of the doubt but we're already off to a bad start. It seems to play fine on my phone but for some reason, when I choose the chromecast option, it connect to the TV and says "ready to cast" but the show just continues to play on my phone. My major apps like hulu, netflix, etc. connect just fine so it must be an issue with the app.

Glad the Chromecast connection was fixed but under What's New you said "Plus, we've made some bug fixes, so you can enjoy a smoother viewing experience." After updating, the viewing experience is NOT smoother, it has actually gotten worse. It randomly skips either back, resulting in replaying what you just watched, or forward, resulting in missing a segment of the episode, and it is happening significantly more frequently AFTER installing the update today.

This app is so busted. Ads will play randomly. Videos will restart at random times. I can never stay signed in, I have to sign in every time. And there is no search feature for content. It's mostly just a bunch of thumbnails of shows I want to watch, but Comedy Central is so bad at supporting their content that this doesn't surprise me at all.

This App is a Advertising platform. Where you are rewarded w/ 2:33 of Comedy Central content. Even a/ a valid subscription to the Comedy Central. More or less a high speed Wi-Fi connection does speed up the process. Phone hardware/software also plays a role. Running this App on a phone with 100% clean space vs. Having less than 4gb saps performance resulting in buffering. When repeated buffering occurs, the device in which the App is installed on. Requires you to free up space. Just like on a computer when you empty the " recycle bin." Delete old browser stuff Pictures that are backed up elsewhere. ( Storing less pictures on your device. Massively improves performance.) Other Applications that you don't use. Delete them as they take up space, can or have access to your data. Which interrupts streaming episods as App's running in the background will try to update themselves ( Google play for instance...) In short. It's an application but only a partial answer to other streaming platforms. Netflix, Hulu etc. Hence Advertising on a " free App vs paid streaming membership.

Like most of these network apps, the content is great, but the streaming is terrible due to ad buffering. If show doesn't have ads it streams perfectly. The ads are set for approximately 3 minutes, but they literally take 7-10 minutes due to loading. The ad will play for 10 seconds and then load for 60 - 120 seconds. Constantly buffering. Commercials for 10 minutes for every 5 minutes of content make it unwatchable. This is with great Wifi or 5G, so it's not a connection issue. I understand the need for ads, and don't mind watching them if not choppy. It seems like these apps could find a better ad streaming option. Load 10 minutes of commercials at the beginning and force the viewer to watch before content is available. Some apps (History / A&E) still countdown the 30 second ad even if the ad is buffering, that puts it back on the advertiser. Either that, or sell your content to Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon so we can pay to not watch commercials. Really love CC content, just wish I could watch it without frustration.

The latest version of the Comedy Central app is terrible. It lacks the ability to auto detect bandwidth so there's always a long load time. Commercials come in at full HD so there is not only multiple commercials but also a long wait time for them. When skipping ahead in the show the app doesn't memorize which commercials you've seen which ones you have not sold attempts to play all of them. When switching to another app and then back again the video buffer dumps so you have to wait... again

This app only works if you sign in with your cable provider credentials. Otherwise, it is a massive waste of time. I downloaded this to watch Reno911 and they let me! (for about 7 minutes) and then I was forced to sit thru at least 5 minutes of commercials, at which time the app didnt load the tv show, just more ads. Thanks Advert Central!

Update: Working well now. Still dislike the long wait (the next week?) for The Daily Show episodes to become available after they air. // The app hasn't been usable for a few weeks now. New The Daily Show episodes aren't showing up, old episodes won't cast to Chromecast, and the app crashes frequently. Also, I dislike how a previously watched episode always auto-plays when you go to a show's page.

It's good! But the ads are getting very repetitive. I get that they make the videos free to watch. But if I have to watch another 30s Stanley Steemer ad after watching just two <1 min clips of Key and Peele, I might go batty. I get it. Stanley Steemer is the certified cleaner. But if he has to rub it in over and over again with the exact same video it's not exactly more convincing to me. Otherwise a great app!

I love Comedy Central and most of the shows on there. But when I'm trying to watch South Park and it stops in the middle and I can't watch it anymore because it's not loading it really gets annoying. Fix it. Other episodes work fine just the newest episode seems to like to stop after the first set of b******* ads

Content is either missing or lock with only a few episodes actually available to watch... uninstalled

No search function... ( at least if their is its no where near obvious as it needs to be), I have to just scroll through a big list of all shows. Additionally while watching shows the add counter shows up in the middle of the show ie. "1 of 5", not second before adds play but minutes! love the networks content but the apps quite buggy and lacking in my experience.

Excellent! I don't have tv since I'm more a streaming type, but missed cc content. I didn't even know they had an app and was watching youtube clips. This is much better. Is there a premium version where I can pay to skip commercials and get all the content, though? If there is I can't find the option. Pretty much THE reasons I don't have TV: interruptions, packages and scheduling. Didn't miss those parts.

This has always been a terrible app. Sometimes it'll be a blank screen with audio. Close out of app may fix it. Now video is delayed with audio. Stop casting then cast fixes it after it shows commercials again. Does this delayed issue after each commercial break. Doesn't play selected episode all the time. Once again close out and redo. More issues than comments allow. Deleting this app today. Please let someone else stream your content. For years this app doesn't work.

Xfinity not listed as a cable provider. Been this way for at least 3 years when I first tried to use the app. So I pay for comedy central with my cable package but can't use the app or the website. Xfinity/comcast is a big provider and some places don't have the option of going with another provider. FAQ just says we're working hard to get all providers on board but it's been the same for years. Unacceptable. 0 stars if I could as it is worthless to me even though I pay for comedy central.

this is the worst streaming app ever, it constantly lags and disconnects (where no other stream app i have does), the ads are poorly programmed into the app, so when your app crashes, you have to start every ad over from the very start of the show. it has a great volume of shows to choose from, but it has to be, the single buggiest app that i have, especially in concerns to streaming. what good is 100 tv shows when you cant watch any of them? i only keep for the daily show.

The app is very convenient, yet it's missing a super important feature; a search bar! How does an app that streams media content not have a search bar. The only way to find shows on this app is to look through a preset list that isn't even in alphabetical order!
