Recently there has been a host of issues. 1) A video advertisment was added, which blocked a significant part of the screen after the video completed playing. Make it unable to select destination when booking. 2) The change to CDG zig. App crashes upon launching or when trying to select destination. This issue is consistent since 29th April. I had to resort to GrabTaxi and calling the comfort hotline. Please patch this ASAP. It's been a good experience prior to this.
New app crashes badly. Reinstall and now having issues with booking. Hardly get any booking and yet someone who's with me using the same app at the same time to the same destination gets it within seconds. I dont know if the app even captures my data to do a booking or not, because it happened many times. Overlapping of bookings then out of the blue, a prompt comes out to say my card has error.
Since the update, app keeps giving server error notice. Either that or it crashes. Booking for 2 destinations is also more difficult now compared to before the update. Even making multiple bookings with different cards was impossible. Compared to the apps from Grab and Gojek, this one is pretty much rubbish and a trigger for high blood pressure. App was way more reliable before the update, if you can even call it that.
Not b as stable as the older or initial version. You need to rethink, how the app displays the booking, sometimes current search doesn't show in the screen and makes you think it got cancelled and when you click to search again, it then shows but if you cancelled it counts towards your cancel count. Firstly if the ui/ux is improved, you won't have this issue in the first place. *ps I would make it a negative star review if possible, I keep getting cab charges for rides I didn't take.
Since the change to CDG Zig, the app has been unstable. I've been unable to connect today, keep getting a server connection error. It's extremely frustrating when you're in a rush and it's raining and you can't get a cab! When I finally managed to flag one from the street, I couldn't use the app for Pay for Street Hail, and had to pay cash. Pls ensure the new app is stable before migration!
When an app is being upgraded, there should be communication for customers to choose to update e app. I couldnt find the app on my phone cuz of the name change. Cant use e"Pay for Street Hire" option when i boarded a taxi - dialogue box kept popping up with the notice that this feature is only available when the trip is ongoing. I KNOW THAT! BUT THE APP REFUSES TO LET ME MATCH THE RIDE BEFORE THE RIDE ENDS. PLEASE FIX IT. Full of bugs. Why update the app and render it useless? Baffles me.
After the upgrade the app is very slow, crashes Intermittently and keeps throwing 'server error'. Seems like the meter should be kept running for the app to pair and this will be done after the trip! This just adds to the cost. Why pay more on top of the taxi fair!! Very suboptimal user experience..
Update 20220430: the app sees a lot of usage from myself and it is great to see the improvements along the way. Keep up the good work! --------------------------------- Lousy UI, backend infra. The vendor taking charge of this and the overall comfort tech and product team needs to improve. A lot of work needs to be done from a product development perspective. Very poor.
App keeps crashing during peak periods. Also extremely buggy, 1) when retrying to book, the app shows no driver immediately, but at the backend is actually looking for a cab, 2) Can't select both pickup and destination before the price screen. The old app was working perfectly fine, why make all these unnessary changes?
App always has problems during super peak periods like heavy rain or certain timings when there's no cabs so when you keep trying to book repeatedly, after a few times there will be ridiculous error msgs like "Your credit card cannot be used. Pls remove". (Banks say there's no issue with the cards.) Then when you uninstall and re-install the app, all the payment info previously saved cannot be used. When you try to add the credit cards back, the app says "Fraud". Totally ridiculous.
App keeps crashing after the recent upgrade from ComfortDelGro to the new Zig app update. Right in the middle of a booking or when I need a cab urgently. It's very frustrating and actually taking me away from the app to other ride share apps like Grab or Gojek instead as the app doesn't seem reliable anymore. I love CDG services and have been a patron for years, so would really hope I can get back to using this app regularly and request that the app crashing issues be addressed.
This new update is stupidly buggy. First it hang on startup. Force shutdown and now it can start. But selecting each of my saved destination goes to the pickup point. So to correct it, I ensure that the pickup point is selected and then I click on my fav. And it now goes to my destination. This entire process of correcting it took 10 minutes and when finally everything looks ok, I confirm to book, my pickup still become wrong....this is stupid
After update from the app, it works again! Thanks for looking into it!! ------ After the upgrade to Zig, the app doesn't start and stays stuck on blue screen. I have restarted my phone and reinstalled the app and tried everything including upgrading to the latest OS. Is there a way to fix the issue?
This is the kind of App you want to bring the beast to the barn and end it. They go for cheaper better faster approach and you got a perfectly mind-blowing hopeless App. Today it surprise me again , my card that I used for so long suddenly become a fruad card in its system, although there's nothing wrong with my card. Any feedback to them will be met with condescending reply that means nothing . Although grab app may not be perfect , this made it look like a sage as compared to this trash.
Changing payment card in the app took more than 10+ minutes, required changing my default browser, then by trial and error changing it's settings. Maybe only tested with Chrome? Quite dreadful. Competitors app; less than 1 minute, no setting change required. Enough said. And to push the rebrand through with the Z logo in the current war, tone deaf.
What rubbish is Comfort doing to the booking app? 1stly, you changed the name of the app and neither my friends nor I could find the Comfort app on our phones anymore. 2ndly, bookings are almost impossible to be done on this new updated app when previously the old Comfort app could book so much better with ease. Failure of a useless app.
Simply unacceptable. Doesn't work. Clearly CDG doesn't know how to test an app before rolling it out. The new app is terrible and crashing continuously. I have reinstalled it twice, and it still can't boot/load from the splash screen.
Terrible after the update. I got a booking at a surge charge of $25. Then when I toggled back, it had disappeared and I only saw the map and "searching for drivers". I could only cancel booking and rebook the fare at $30. This is a ridiculously poor app update.
Recent update is terrible, CAN'T EVEN OPEN THE APP.I'm once a comfort taxi only customer,only call cab from comfort app,and most of the time is everyday at least 2 times, and now I got no choice but to start trying to book private car for myself which I never done before.If you don't fix the bugs,I will have to either take other public transport or continue to call for private car if needed.
This is a very user-unfriendly app. It often reports losing server connection even when WIFI or mobile data strength is good. When booking a cab and a driver cannot be found, it would respond to try again in 10 minutes. After a while when I re-try, it would respond that I had a current booking and a cab would be arriving at a time that has passed! It is a stupid, idiotic and moronic app.
