This has a lot of potential and I'm really exited about this! I'll update this review as fixes come out for the app. 1. When I click Add To List, the screen goes dark and I can only go back a page and cannot click on anything else. It also does not add the comic nook to any list. 2. When I use the barcode scanner, the app searches the database and never stops but once I try it again, it instantly finds the comic book.

Just found this app today since comixology's pull list feature is getting abandoned. Then I saw that you last updated the app last 2017. Isn't it time to improve the app since the major competition is out? The app looks good. But maybe you could update the UI. It was so confusing at first. Maybe you could put an option where we could subscribe to the publisher so we could be updated on every release,so we don't have to check calendar page everytime for new release.

Does the job of adding issues to my pull list. But when you are browsing and click on anything then it sticks on that particular issue you were looking at. Even if you go to another comic and click on it for info it goes to the one you originally clicked on. Have to close the app completely to get it to clear.

Slow, freezes, will not update on my tab s. I have better results on my newer android phone. Often can not find new comics and there is no easy way to contribute my own data. The overall listing of my catalog using my computer is great, especially if I print to PDF. Scanning the barcode of newer comics is a great feature.

Update: 8/10/20 worse than previous. Doesn't work at all on my Pixel. Please fix this app. Would be great, but often comics in the new comics list have no info when you click on them and can not be added to pull list. Also many books that come out each week are not listed at all. update: keeps getting worse. Cant pull anything most of the time. Went down from 3 to 1star.

Wouldn't bother. Just use the website. Not all "New Comics" from the website are showing up in the app, and a few times I have had items missing from my pull list too. Manually searching for the title, going to the series' page, and then refreshing the Pull List/New Comics pages seems to be the only way to get them to show. This week I noticed Harleen #1 and New Mutants: War Children #1 were missing.

I have a Samsung S8+ and this app is completely broken. It glitches, the barcode scanner barely works and it freezes. I wouldn't be surprised if one day I open it and all my saved comics are gone. I give two stars because the solicits are available almost instantly. But you need to do better.

When the app actually let's me log in, it is fine. I prefer the browser version bc the app will constantly tell me my password isn't valid. With every password reset, it still doesn't work on the app, however it's fine on the browser. Update: app tells me that my phone is too advanced for this and logged me out, LOL ok. Still going to use the web version and delete this app once again. Please update it.

The app is faulty. Once clicking on a comic and viewing it, then going back and clicking another comic to view it won't show up that comic. It only shows the 1st comic viewed and won't change no matter how many other comics you try to view. Also the app auto rotates when phone is tilted even if rotation is off on the phone.

The app is great for organizing your comic pull list with the local comic shop. The downfall of the app is the numerous glitches that make this app very irritating to operate. Fix this app so it's smooth to run, that when I click on a comic issue it comes up and doesn't show the previous comic I looked at instead.

I like the app overall but there's a bug whenever I use the scanner to add a comic to my Collection and Read List. The app will add the correct edition to my Collection but when I mark it read on the app, TWO editions will appear on my Read List--the one I actually scanned and a different one edition that I guess is the first/main edition released.

Only a small selection of comics that are out actually show up on this app. Also, its bugged - once you press on one book, then when you try and chose another, the previous book shows up in its place. Can only fix by resetting the App. And then...rinse and repeat.

So I've been using this app for years now, all of a sudden a bunch of issues got removed from the app, and they are recent issues. Issues that came out last year are no longer showing at all when you search for them on the database, I don't know if or when they bring those issue back on the database I will have to go back and redo my listing on whether I have them or my wish list for issues I missed and need to get.

Great basis but needs more! First off I love the website and app. My biggest issue with the app is that there's no "my lists" function. It's not on the sidebar nor in the "My Profile" section, and this is super important to me as I run the account of making and updating reading order lists.

Mostly Harmless. It is free, so extra stars for free stuff. It often requires manual input for older items, which is understandable considering the variety of bar codes that exist in the world. It would be nice to be able to download your lists or share them. It would be even better to include a price guide. I did not ding the app by removing stars for not including any of the above because...it is free.

I'm loving the app so far. Took me a day or two to figure out, so still adding my collection to it. There were one or two popular comics I wasn't able to find, but found some variation of it. This was forgotten when I discovered it did know of a few little known favourites of my bundle. Only thing I feel that is missing is the facility to post reviews - unless I've overlooked it? I wonder if there are any further updates where this may be a feature?

app has serious potential but needs work. UI is super buggy, barcode scanner camera rotates on its own and is horrible to use. My phone has rotate locked and the app rotates anyways. I love the potential this app has but it's a headache.

This app could be great, but it rather broken. It's not been updated to run on the newest version of Android and the barcode scanner is completely screwed. I was hoping this would replace another database app I use but at the moment it's just not good enough. A real shame too as the LoCG site is great.

It stinks. A great idea, executed very poorly. Weekly releases are incomplete, and selecting books is very buggy and seldom works correctly. I will continue to use comixology to figure out which new releases to pick up

I'm looking for an app that can let me both catalog my punisher collection, and keep a wishlist of issues I need. Unfortunately, this app is not it. Not a single volume is complete in the app. For example, Volume 2, which is over 100 issues long, only has 39 issues present here.

A pain to use. Slow, unresponsive, freezes a lot. Can't even be closed with the back button from the app's main screen. And it hasn't been updated in two years.

Needs work. Trying to look through new comic lists is painful, as 9 times out of 10, clicking on a comic brings you to a completely different one. This has been the case for the least 2 years...c'mon guys...

A lot of bugs. Nowhere near as smooth and intuitive as the website. Please please please improve this app. If we have to pay a few bucks(1-3) for improvements so be it. I love league of comic geeks and thank you for all of your hard work, but please improve this app! The website is fantastic. Thank you!- Chris P., Comic Geek

Been using the app since 2017 and the lag is still terrible. The app constantly lies about an update going through. You mark an issue read, kill the app and reload it to find the issue still marked unread. I wish this were open source so I could just fix it myself.

Like it so far but struggling to find a lot of comics earlier than the late 90's. Search doesnt work or have any results. I dont know if there is a way to add a comic to the system but if not, it would be a cool update.
